In my opinion, if it is a of "normal" size, home air purifier, this should not be an issue. Quote: Theresa K. wrote: Will it be alright to put a water ( air purifier) in a bedroom ? However I am not sleeping in that room.

1. Please note that this is a Free GENERAL Advice forum, and not a specific "Do it for you" type of forum. Anonymous wrote: 1)How can i place my stove, microwave, sink & washing machine & fridge? 1. In my opinion, you have to weigh what I had mentioned earlier, such as:- 1.1. Sitting and Facing direction of stove to the female "boss" of the home 1.2. Sector in which the stove is in. 1.3. And other points that I had mentioned earlier on. 2. Traditionally, in the past, often the sink would "sit" higher than the stove. For example, the height of the stove is often at 34 inches while the sink is higher or greater than 34 inches to not more than 35 inches. This will coincide with the auspicious measurements found on the Feng Shui ruler. 3. However, in modern times (especially) in Singapore, where there are already more than 2,000 condos x at least 200 units on avera…

Star 1 is suppose to be a good star. If it is the water star, then often, opening the main door would be great. If it is a mountain star 1, then, it is also good but main door need not be opened (all the time) to activate it.

1. Please re-read my previous reply. 2. If you are DIY Feng Shui, then, try to see if you can apply Flying Star Feng Shui. As Flying Star Feng Shui maps out the "birth-chart" of a home. And things like water star #8 is a good location to place a water feature (distinct from whether you are a weak fire or not). If your water position is placed on a water wealth location, then it is fine. (A water position may also be placed at a water star #1, location) 3. In general, from now to 2023, avery good location to activate water position MAY be the South-West sector. Which is in general, known as the "water-wealth-spirit" location of a home. 4. Under Flying Star, what could b…

Thank you foryour clarifications. Based on your reply,my neighbour'sba gua mirror serves two purposes, mainly protection and wealth. Besides adopting your solutions mentioned in point 8 & 9,are there any other simpler solutions to adopt? There are no conflicts between my family and my neighbours so I do not wish to create ba gua war with them. My intention is just to adopt measures to protect my family if my neighbour's ba gua mirror should create some bad impact on my family. Are there any feng shui items I can placed somewhere near my main door to act as a protection against my neighbour's ba gua mirror? Thank you for your time and hope to receive your reply. Tha…

1. This is one of the most asked questions (for the past 10 years) of forum resources. Why don't you use your fingers to do a SEARCH. 2. First and foremost, there are sufficient info for these three "steps":- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach 3. It is also applied in a home:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on

1. Please use this link (report link) to generate a report to check which is your favourable sitting position/direction for work:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-workposition.htm 2. However, please note that the above sitting / facing direction for work is contingent on things like the layout plan of the room and/or some of us simply cannot change out sitting positions. 3. Thus, it is considered as "NICE-TO-HAVE" and not a "MUST-HAVE".

1. From a Ba zi, perspective, make sure that the person is not a Strong Water person or a weak fire person as a water position placed wrongly in a home is considered inauspicious. 2. A water position, placed wrongly can also affect health and family relationships i.e. under Flying Star, if it is placed in a mountain star #8 location. 3. You can read up on what makes a good water feature (especially Para 2.1 to 2.12) under this link:- http://fountain.geomancy.net

1. As mentioned, previously, no two homes or apartments are similar. Have a client who had moved in around the TOP period (2006). In fact, last year, they are looking at bigger premises - landed property. Thus, I believe that in general, some of the owners of units are doing well. 2. In the past, early 1960's I used to follow my dad to the Singapore Gun Club where he is a member, there. Quote: One of the empty units is facing rifle range road, where there is a cluster of about 4 semi-d terraces with big round window features. I remembered from a tv programme, these windows are akin to having "eyes" looking directly at you all the time and may not be good in a fengshui…

1. Usually, some older folks would wrap (even number of coins) e.g. 20 cents in a red paper and placed it into the urn. 2. You may pour the contents (ash) into say a plastic "bin" and check to see if there was any previous "objects or items" such as the above. If so, you can still take it out and place it into your new urn. 3. Often, when changing urns, some would scoop some of the old ash into the new urn. 4. You may wrap up the old urn in a "used" clean newspaper and simply throw it away, afterwards.

1. Please note that BOTH Eight House (Eight Mansions or East/West Group) and Flying star Feng Shui belong to the Compass School of Feng Shui. 2. In a very recent reply, I had mentioned that : 2.1 we human beings have a birthday. 2.2 a home also has it's birthday. 3. You are "arguing" on the basis of what suits your birth-chart and imposing this to a home. 4. Instead, of "arguing" about how you can impose your "will" of Feng Shui on the home, think about this: We humans have to harmonise with our environment, FIRST! 5. Thus, the clue is that a home has it's own birth chart. This would depend on where is your proposed facing and sitting directions. 6. Little things l…

1. Please note that the link has been fixed, it should be working. 2. Since both of you intend to stay at both homes, your earth luck or Feng Shui will be influenced by the two homes and even the place of work. Frankly, there is no scientific accountability as to how much luck or influence comes from which home. However, logically, if you were to stay at a home from Monday to Friday (5 days) vs Saturday and Sunday (2 days) then the weightage may be mathematically divided based on this ratio. But, really, must life be so calculated? 3. In my opinion, your existing home or the Monday to Friday home should have the highest influence. 4. As to missing corners, very recentl…

1. It's a pity that only in this "crazy" world of Fast Food Feng Shui would someone want to change the bed-head position annually. Think about this! 2. Who in their right frame of mind has ever considered moving the bed, and re-arranging, say the bed room console, and internal arrangements in a bedroom? Again, only those too free or nothing else better to do. 3. Chinese Beliefs: Pregnancy VS Moving Bed - Annually Many Chinese believe that if one is pregnant, one MUST never move the bridal bed, else there could be a likelyhood of an aborted birth. Thus all these talk about moving bed-head to "cater" to the whims and fancies of the Grand Duke or the three killings is …

I have 3 friends stay at the property name called 'The Rivervale' 1 facing punggol park, 1 facing the temple and another one is facing the Swimming pool. The husband staying at the one facing punggol park and temple died at mid age (around 43) and the one facing swimming pool is alway sick. Any big problem of the Feng Shui there, anyway can solve? In my opinion, it is best to seek expert advise, as no two units even on different levels are the same. Coincidentally, another development (a few km away from The Rivervale) called "The Rivervale Crest" condo has some problems, also:- 1. Please see my forum posting on Tue, 29 Jul 2003, 06:39 AM "2. Rivervale Cr…

1. Based on the Flying Star chart that; there is a water star #8 (current water wealth star) at the frontage. And it is good to consider a water position to activate the water star for better career and general luck. 2. In general, the home should enjoy good Feng Shui. Only thing is to check that the lamp post on the rounder does not slice thru the main door or a window of the home. Quote: Dear Master Some master point the No 9 house:- 1) The house need water because facing Southeast 2) In Fornt of the House water flow according to the slope 3) In Fornt of the House had a guard house and a rounder about. 4) On the rounder about had one lamp post 5) A god (Budd…

Anonymous wrote: if you have wood as an element, is that your wealth element as well? is ones wealth element the same as the element you get i.e. a horse with a wood element? Wealth element for your ba zi is defined as the element your self element destory. For example, a Wood person, Earth is the wealth element. For example, a Water person, Fire is the wealth element So for your case if you are a Wood person, then Earth element is your wealth element. 1. This is a true story: 1.1 Hong Kong Shanghai Bank (HSBC) buiding in Hong Kong was built, first. 1.2 Bank of China's (BOC) building came later. And it is shaped like a Chinese sword. 1.3 To counteract this, HSBC bank shaped it's helicopter pad in the form of a cannon aimed back towards BOC. 1.4 To make the story short, later on, the Cheung Kong center placed two18th century cannons (or twin cannons) against another building. 2. So you want to place a cannon? Even if it is an ornamental cannon, avoid facing inwards of a home. At best, it should be aimed out of the home. If your home has a balcony than "like a goal keeper" aim it out or clear of the home!

1. This can be "explained" from a "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. 2. Why is it that many Feng Shui practitioners say that a toilet or near to a toilet is no good? In the past, many Chinese homes do not have a toilet in the home, the toilet is a distance away from the home. 3. I have mentioned this many times: 3.1 One day, while driving along a highway, there was this radio feature, where this fella, says that where-ever one place one's toothbrush in the toilet, there sure to be "germs" on it. This is especially true, if we flush the toilet (bowl) and the fine mists shoots out all over the place. 3.2 And his solution? Buy his disinfection tablets much like those…
