1. For simple no frills; method of finding out compatibility:- http://www.lovesigns.net/horoscope/acompare/acompare.htm The above is based purely on the Chinese Zodiac signs. This isa very general method as it analyses only the YEAR of one's birth. And it is compared to both parties (or even partner's) YEAR of birth. This type of compatibility is like two countries going to war:- For example: It is like one country flying propellar plans that can only fly up to 400 mph and the other more advanced country flying any jet plane. A jet plane can easily reach Mach 1 or Mach 2 (twice the speed of a bullet). 2. Using Ba Zi analysis 2.1. Minimium data required : Year, Month…

Dear Wendy, It is good to have the pyramid type roof or `swiss cottage' type of roof. The threat you mention can be neutralised and this is a consideration. Overall, besides the other points I mentioned, if you have the time, use the Eight House template to see which house is best suited for the breadwinner. In particular, it would be better if the main door is not the `death or disaster' sector for the breadwinner. For other family members and the breadwinner, check to see - in particular if the bedroom is suited for each family member - where possible. The other important considerations are the the toilet(s) should preferably not be at the frontage of the house. And if …

Dear Velinda, velinda harjono wrote: My husband is the bread winner of the family. Unfortunately, our main door faces north-west which spells disaster for him in terms of his birthdate (1969). His lucky direction is south east. I feel there is always going on in this house which are uncontrollable and unfortunate and usually involves my husband. How can we neutralize the unlucky front door without changing houses (for now)? Are there ways to improve our situation? This point has been talk about many many times. Eight House is about suitability. There is very little you can do to correct a suitability of a home other than getting another that is more suitable to you. Thus…

Dear Anon, In my opinion, there is really nothing magical about a wish box. It is similar to someone keeping a good luck charm. Since this does not fall into the category of Feng Shui or divinity, I am unable to answer your question. However, I do not really see any harm in keeping or treasuring it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear PB, Although a kitchen has some influence over the house, the more scientific method is the use of the Flying Star Theory to check whether there are any imbalances in the house. I believe, the above is a more `fruitful' excerise. Additional analysis could include the Pillars of Destiny to analyse both parties and compare both parties and find out the binding element for both parties. It would be a better option then just simply looking at the kitchen itself. The above is my opinion. I will try to give more tips on the kitchen as soon as I can. You can find some of the `answers' on this, I believe by doing a search under this forum (Free Advice forum). Warmest Regar…

Hi Cassandra Before going any further, I must ask, have you done a Pillars of Destiny Chart (there is a free one on this site) to find out your element ? If not may I suggest you do as if the colors chosen are not complimentary to your element you could have all sorts of problems. IMHO orange seems very strong for a bedroom. Too yang. Needs to be more yin otherwise sleep may be restless. Under the Eight House Directions is your bedroom in one of your auspicious sectors ? Best wishes Glyn

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Just want to know if salt lamps are good for feng shui when placed in the house. Thank you very much. Generally, salt lamps are made from salt crystal rocks. Generally, it is not really a feng shui item or product. Just a decorative form of lighting feature. No issue in general to use it. In terms of best feng shui location, it is related more towards crystal. Under the feng shui, areas where there is auspicious mountain star (ie star 8/9/1 for period 8 houses, or 7/8/9 for period 7 houses), should benefit from having some form of mountain star feature. Typically a crystal or mountain picure. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEO…

Dear Sophia, Look at it this way: millions or billions of people have never ever worshiped Tai Sui. Like yourself and your family, personally, I also have not done so. Nowadays, we read "clever" people putting the notion for us to do so. Frankly, it is so easy for them to tell us to do so. But, often these are marketing ploys. I believe, these "clever" people may not also have done so. We often hear of practitioners who give advise. But often the advise is only a short time e.g. 1 or 2 hours. Horror stories of "cannot use the toilet totally" etc... And the poor owner dare not use the toilet for life! Most of the time we should understand : "You stay there (your home)…

Hi, Please read below:- In the traditional, because Feng Shui came from China, the coins used were Chinese coins with a hole in the middle. However, the rational behind the coins is that the number 6 is already strong metal along with the coins being made up of metal creates a strong metal good enough to act as a cure whether or not there is a coin is a Chinese coin or not. Of course if the original coin has a square cut which is represented by earth, does give additional strengths to the coins however, realistically there is no point is purposely searching high a low for such a coin. Therefore, it is not necessary. Feng Shui can be cured with many basic items found …

Dear Master Lee Thank you very much for your advice! I wonder what about the mountain star 8? Can I activate it with crystals (any type) since I am weak water? Will it destroy me instead because of too much earth element?

Dear Anon, Yes agree! If it is a small bedroom, the only sensible thing to do is to keep the bedroom tidy. For Feng Shui, cures and enhancements, have to go further than this small bedroom for success. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I live in an apartment where my bedroom is really small. It is only big enough to fit my bed at one wall (the connecting wall to the bathroom) and has less than a foot on the left hand side when you are facing the bed. There is about 5 feet at the bottom of the bed where my feet face a window. I can't turn my head to see out the door because the door is off to the side of that five feet. because the room is so small it is …

These are some considerations: 1. In this home, NEVER, (NEVER) play with the Ouija board that summons spirits. Some call this a Wiggy Board "game" or a "talking-to spirit" board. 2. What happens is that when one plays with this board; it is opening a portal. 2.1. And in many instances, because of the past incident, this house is more "yin". And often, one may unintentally invite visitors. 2.2. We are not so scared of the "low ranking" visitors e.g. those that have yet to cross through "the LIGHT". 2.3. What is most fearful is that often such portals can inadvertently sent is a High Ranking (General) or Devil's right hand person i.e. the Dark force. 3. Once this occurs, e…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- - In my opinion, in general, it is best if one can not to purchase the house. - Perhaps, you can also ask the existing owner what is the rationale for them selling the unit. 1.What is your view on the effect of the station & the lane and the unit??s overall feng shui and it??s cure? Frankly, it is NOT practical to `cure' such a Yang effect coming from the Fire station. Not practical because, one has to literally close the curtains or close the main door most of the time. 2. Will it benefits a breadwinner of weak earth element perhaps needing more fire? This is to do more with which direction the main door is facing and whether it mat…

Dear Anon, "From what I've read so far, every room is in the wrong place, lighting is bad, beds face wrong way - I am overwhelmed and don'tt know where to start! " My personal advise is that if you are doing Feng Shui on your own, not to do it in a real `hurry'. For those who want to do it immediately should consult a competent Feng Shui practitioner. Otherwise, if you want to do it on your own shoul spent time understanding at LEAST the following MAIN TOPICS:- 1. Shapes and Form 2. Compass Schools: Flying Star and Eight House. Alternatively, many people have lived without ever knowing what Feng Shui is and are equally successful in their live. Some people have also …

Dear Anon, Typically, there are numerous factors to consider beyond merely visualizing one's Ba Chai (Eight House) Feng Shui. The Eight House Theory is relatively fixed, and the essential aspect of this theory is: How appropriate the house is for the breadwinner. It is more related to the time spent in a sector and the optimal facing direction of the bed-head and the study/work area. The Key success factor in Feng Shui is to understand and apply the 12 Habits of Feng Shui as follows:- Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: My house has 2 toilets in the north-east sector which is considered m…

Dear Carolyn, Since there is a MS#5 (bad earth - loss, misfortune, sickness) but it is further inflamed or fuelled by #9 (fire), this is an inauspicious combination. Fortunately, there is a #6 controlling it. Thus, it is in control. Given this situation, there is no harm with a water feature, here since, it can help to extinguish #9. Thus, letting the #6 strong metal - controlling #5. Therefore, there is no issue with a fish tank, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil I have I checked the flying star On 12/31/2003 7:49:53 PM, Cecil

Dear Keith, In my opinion, it "the bedroom above a garage" may not necessarily be the main cause of the problem. The rationale is that not looking at other diagnostic tools such asthe use of Flying Star Feng Shui etc... there are existing owners who do have a bedroom or even a master bedroom above a garage. Usually, the main reason why it is considered inauspicious has to do more with "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. For example, the main rationale, in addition to what you had mentioned, some people use another reasoning or both: what you had mentioned and also that in (the unlikely) event that the car at the porch catches fire, and the bedroom is directly above …

Hi, Please read below:- This means that if you are water and fire is your wealth, if you are a strong water and constantly with an environment or job which represents fire, you are likely to be successful and wealthy! But only if you are strong enough to take advantage of it! Deity is like a god which for the Pillars presents some helping stars. It is represented by the 5 elements of which there is a direct, and indirect version of each element. For example, direct wealth and indirect wealth. This means that direct wealth is wealth you obtain from your hard work. As for indirect wealth are wealth such as inheritance or winning lottery etc. Bone is a term use by t…

1. If you have a sketch, it would be better! 2. Overall, so long as the spiral staircase is not facing the main entrance door directly, this is a plus point. 3. Is the steps for the spiral staircase fully covered or it is one "plank" onto another "plank" with open spaces in-between.
