Dear Peck Wun, Please see below:- Under Shapes and Form Feng Shui, there is not much one can do unless one occupies another room. Usually, in such a situation:- 1. Always get the Shapes and Form of the placement of the interior of the bedroom right. For example, where ever possible, see if the bed can be on the opposite wall of the bedroom door. Or have the bed head placed against a solid wall. 2. This depends on the individual. But often, Flying Star Feng Shui is used to evaluate this and other rooms to neutralise any Sha Qi if any. The limited cures are either:- 1. Placement of a mirror on the wall to create a symbolic `extension'. 2. Placement or either a win…

Note: Yes, Spencer; please do use the 8 sector measurement for Yang (for the living). As mentioned earlier, this has been used as early as the Sung Imperial carpenters to built furniture/doors etc... for their emperors. Cecil Hi Cecil Thank you so much for a very informative session. I have came across two other writers who mentioned that the 8 sectors measurement being used for all measurements. Nothing was distinguished between Yin and Yang measurements or 8 or 10 sector measurements. So that makes 3 of you. Then i came to another writer who stated that the 8 sectors are meant for external measurements such as fences, gates (not tombs). And the 10 sector measurements a…

Dear Chee Kiat, I totally agree with what you had said. 1. In East such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Singapore, we have always learnt that Feng Shui does not depend on highly commercialised products that are produced to satisfy the `demand' and driven by unscrupulous people in the name of " Feng Shui ". 2. When I tried to do a search under the search engines for Feng Shui products; for our friend in Portual; I found several Feng Shui emporiums that have tied in with so called Feng Shui practitioners to help `push' their products. 3. Feng Shui is now so contaminated and commercialised by all these association with material goods which are highly marked up and only to f…

Dear Shelley, Thanks for bringing up this interesting question. A while back I mentioned that originally, Feng Shui is used at a macro level. At the micro level, we still look at the homes. But for the homes, it is more generalised Feng Shui. For example, in the past, we do not content with sleeping on a metal bed nor a water bed. We simply sleep on wooden beds because wood is easier to find and make use of. In a wider extent, symbols do play a part in ancient homes which are decorated with wooden panels or wooden carvings. Even the wooden Chinese antique furnitures have inlaid mother-of-pearls e.g. of leaves, flowers, fishes etc... This is not so much of Feng Shui but cu…

Dear Gem, Apologise for the late response. Must have missed this question. Basically for selling a house, there is no reason for you do a Home Audit, so the best I can suggest is that you keep the house clean and pleasing to look at. Furthermore, Feng Shui can only be used to enhance the balance in nature. It is not a miricle cure or solution to every problem. On a personal note, is to enhance you personal self with your favourable elements, so that it increases your luck while you are meeting up with prospective buyers. Other than that, basically, there is nothing much other tips that works for selling a house. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Amarjit, In my opinion, one of the major area is to ensure that one applies good examination techniques, good balanced, study and good rest when needed. Feng Shui plays only an indirect role. And it is also about, having a conducive environment. Many people, study and in constant contact with friends taking the same examination. Here, "motivating" each other to study, is equally good. The saying.... " Erh.. did I forget something? " What the "heck!" - Just do your best! No one can fault you! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Yes, in my opinion, often, a higher weightage goes to the owners who are staying in the home. For the occupants, it has more to do with their own bedroom, but as one knows, this is only one room as compared to an entire home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Later the beggar shouted when I enter the showroom. 2nd property, it was drizzling on my way to the showroom, and rain heavily on my way back. Is there any indication? Personally I prefer 1st property, however was disturbed by the situation that I face when visiting the showroom. Need kind help to advise. Thank you. Additionally, is there anything wrong in terms of fengshui in staying in level 4 (or 3A)? Or beside a hospital? Thanks.

Hey everyone, im a teenager who has no say on how the rest of my house is arranged, but i would still like to make use of feng shui within my bedroom, so if you could perhaps provide some advice, some links to information, or anything you think would be helpful, i would appreciate it! More specifically, should i treat my room as just a single entity, or should i divide it into sectors? Also, should i make use of true compass directions, or is the wall with my bedroom door automatically considered 'north'? Any advice is welcome!

Hi Amatuer Cat, Amatuer Cat wrote: I have nasty, nasty neighbors living in the apartment below me, So I am using tiny mirrors and tin-foil under my area rugs to reflect their energy back to them. They consider me to be negative energy to them, andam afraid if they are practicing feng shui too, what happens if they are doingsomething similar, like using mirrors to reflect my energy back to me? Does this cancel it out? Frankly, a lot of feng shui practises that advise the use of ba gua or mirror against say another neighbour isn't usually friendly application of Feng Shui. Why do I say that? Simple. If you do that, your neighbours will have no choice but to do the same …

Dear Anon, 1. At the moment, it is difficult to pint-point the cause of your problems. As Feng Shui is quite diverse and it even extends to Pillars of Destiny or Ba Zi. And in addition, there are many other variables involved. 2. What I personally feel is that, sometimes, when we make continous mistakes, we tend to make more because we may then become to concious about our past mistakes. And makes us more "tensed-up". 3. And I personally feel that when we get more tensed and place pressure on ourselves to perform -- we tend to therefore make further mistakes. 4. In fact, do thing about how you had personally coped example -- in your previous studies and taking exams. Alt…

Daniel.....I am shocked thatyou paid so much to a "wanna be" practitioner. Mind you, you were not to know. A client of of mine consulted a FS consultant over here earlier this year. She gave my client an account once the work was completed. The terms said "Payment within 7 days, otherwise unforseen problems may arise". I was absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately, there is no governing body over here who can discipline such a person. Now Daniel, if you wish, and if you are patient, I can help you (no charge) if you mail me privately. I am currently assisting a Forum member from Melbourne design his house...it is much fun and hopefully, the house when built will be an auspici…

Dear Anon, Thank you for providing the information. In the five element concept, fire strengthen earth element. Since the car is generally made of metal, this forms a triple combination and in effect, is acceptable in your situation i.e. red/maroon car. In addition, since the current 10 year luck period is of the metal element, the colour of the car i.e. red/maroon has no impact on you. However, if the period is inauspicious, then do less with this colour. Ideally, in the future, a good colour is gold or white (metal element) but since this period has already enough metal element, the above is ok. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. One hasto first determine whetherespecially the Male breadwinner is an East or West Group person:- 1.1. The mainfree report link is as follows:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 1.2 Use this report to find out whether one is an East or West Group person. http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-eight-house.htm 2. For example, if the male breadwinner is an East Group person; then based on the sitemap (facing direction of each stack), the better unit is where the stack is south facing e.g. South1 (157.5-172.4 degrees) , South2 (172.5-187.4 degrees) , South3 (187.5-202.4 degrees) i.e Nuovo stack 04. 2. Hi Cecil I’d be grateful if you can help clarify the two questions re Annual Flying Star - Five Yellow and its afflictions 1) Can cures and remedies block off completely the afflictions? Eg I have placed 6 metal coins and metal elements at the East this year and cannot avoid using that area as it is a study area. More so with work from home situation with laptops and lights being used (Fire elements) 2) Can pets be affected by fengshui and the afflictions of Five Yellow for instance? Eg when they spend some time in that area? Thank you kindly, LC

Dear Sanjay, It depends. Often for the purpose of looking at an office; we often sectionalise or subdivide each room / office room into sectors. But for a home, it is much easier to take the complete home and do a full single chart. But if one's home is huge e.g. the left wing or the right wing etc.. than it can be further subdivided. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, I am sharing a studio partitioned off by screens. My part of the apartment is about 7' x 25 '. My best direction is East however, I know that the San Sha is in the east. It is also where my bed is. Unfortunately, it is nailed to the ground so I cannot move it. My head points East when I sleep. My birthdate is 8/13/1967 and I was born at 8:00 am in Busan, Korea. Can you please help me to boost my wealth and lovelife sector? I also have a dogI love dearly. What can I do to help him to have a high quality life with me? Thank you very much Cecil and Robert for your reply in advance! Olivia

Dear Scott, In case you need to some research paper on temples, perhaps, you can also consider looking for the following two books under Dr Evelyn Lip (a trained architect and lecturer) in libraries: Book 1: Feng Shui for Home Book 2: Chinese Geomancy A Layman's guide Publisher: Times Publishing Both books have good (authentic) references to ancient Chinese as well as some references/pictures of temples. It serves as a starting point to gather good information if you do need to put up a paper on it. Warmest Regards, Cecil
