Dear Hoa Luong, No, (no) - Ba Gua mirrors must not be used indoors. Never in one's own home. At staircase landings, one MAY place a mirror e.g. flat rectangular (normal type) mirror here. This is NOT COMPULSORY. One must NEVER place Ba Gua mirrors within the home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Today, there are still some developers who had folded up. This is not just in Malaysia or in Singapore. A few months back, this developer had uncompleted development and it has become a breeding ground for mosqitoes. Therefore, any land, that has both good or bad Feng Shui, can come down with such a situation. Often, it is sheer `bad luck' which is attributed to the most common situation: downturn in business, leading to cash flow problems for such a developer. Why not, if an experienced FS practitioner finds that the land is OK. A towkay (rich man) may eventually, buy over this land. Hopefully, at a much lower price - due to forced sale…

Dear Anon, The best solution is lots of activity at the double 8 sitting position (if possible). For example, in some homes, the living room area is situated here, Alternatively, or materialistically, one may hang a painting of a mountain with trees, at this location without water in the picture. Can't help if it falls into the toilet. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Joanne, In a bedroom, it is quite difficult to change the layout especially the bed. 1. It is most important to make sure that the bed conform to Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui (FIRST). Here:- 1. Where possible the bed should not be on the same wall as the door to the bedroom. 2. It should preferably be on the opposite wall of the entrance door. 3. Where possible it should have a solid backing e.g. a wall instead of placing it against a window. 4. If the side of the bed is near a window, a gap e.g. by placing a side table or leaving some space for someone to walk is good. 5. Where possible it should not be on the same wall as the toilet. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hoa Luong, Personal relationships can be strong. And binding element e.g. in the home may not be able to help much. In your boyfriend's case, try to enhance personal self e.g. wear more green or brown colours. And for yourself, you can reduce your water e.g. wearing red. This should help abit. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear SL, 1. In my opinion, and from what you had related, it would normally not the norm to take the direction of the gate to the building to determine the compass direction i.e. one of the 15degree increments needed in the Flying Star analysis. 2. Sometimes taking the reading of the `gate' may perhaps indicated that the person (FS master) may be looking at the `frontage' (which is not necessarily the front door) or if the practitioner has difficulty in locating the front main entrance. 3. It is my believe that, in most instances, FS practitioners would normally determine the compass direction of your front main entrance and then plot the Flying Star. As you mentioned, th…

Dear kb Ang, Frankly, even with a simple Eight House (4 good and 4 bad directions), there are so many people who still find it hard to apply due to complete oppositestype of chart between two person. That concept you mentioned is only add further complications. Anyway, I don't advise the use of it, simply because there is an even better one that is derived from the Ba Zi Feng Shui. Ba Zi uses the date and time of birth so it is likely to give better results than Gua (Kua) analysis. Gua analysis uses only YEAR of birth. Hope that helps. 1. The clue is "time-dimension". 2. When you mentioned east symbolizes big wood... is there any reference to time dimensions in such a statement? Yes/No? 3. If No, then should "just" focus on the specific sector(s) based on Flying star numbers and their analysis / interpretation.

1. In GENERAL, under Period 8, it is highly good chance that a water feature at South-West can benefit "most" people as this is generally an "indirect-water" wealth spirit location especially if it is a balcony or patio area. 2. As mentioned in my earlier, message on your earlier question, we are talking about the Feng Shui of your home (earth luck). 3. Under the Chinese holistic approach to luck, there are three kinds of luck:- 3.1 Heaven Luck (what one is born with) and analysed via Ba Zi 3.2 Earth Luck (Your home, office, business or place of stay/rent) 3.3 Human or man luck (Relationships, family bonding etc...) and many also get conned thru"Bull-shit = buying of c…

Dear Anooja, Thanks for the file attachment:) Please see below. 3. For reference: Under the Productive sequence of the five elements concept: Earth -> Metal -> Water 4. Since all three elements #5, #2 and #8 are all earth element we have: 4.1 Earth (#5, #2 and #8) 4.2 You have or suppose to have added chiming clock(s) Here, the equation or flow becomes:- Earth (#5, #2 and #8) with Metal (Chiming clock) 5. If you have correctly placed 5, 2, 8 as 5 = Mountain star 2 = Base star 8 = Water star Under Period 8, water can be used at WS #8 to boost wealth 6. Under the Five Element concept: you can still add another "flow" Earth -> Metal -> Water Thus, one opti…

Dear Ramesh Ramchand, Unfortunately, suitability to a home just like the external factors of a home is the hardest or almost impossible to correct once you have purchased the house. Thus, it is important that when you are hunting for your home, you make sure these two areas are good, else there is very little you can do afterwards. The only advice here I can give you is to ensure that all other areas such as flying star of the home is corrected, enhance your own individual ba zi, and ensure that at least you have a suitable bedroom location to help offset the adverse impact of the unsuitable house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I have placed a salt & coin in the west sector of the apartment for a month. Initially the water in the jar was milky with lots of bubbles. But recently the water is getting clearer and the salt has evaporated (almost completely). Is this normal? Can anyone please advise what I should do next? Should I change the water & add new raw salt in the jar or start a new salt & coin? Yes, it is normal as the various chemical process has already been used up however, how fast or slow depends on theproportion of the water containersize and number of coins. So, it is best to change it after a few months. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Rob…

Dear Marko, Frankly, I was thinking very hard about your senario. Since it is a shared wall and not a house or frontage facing each other; in my opinion, there is not much one can do here. A Metal `cure' is used usually, if there is an imbalance e.g. on the shared wall of your bedroom. Otherwise, it is not normally used. As for Feng Shui, it is correct that one should avoid placement of plants or water fountain in the bedroom. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. In my opinion, you are trying to compare "apples" with "oranges". 2. For example, the basic idea that north = water, south = fire. Are like apples. Very basic form of the five elements concept. 3. If I were you, seriously if you are into the DIY type of Feng Shui: after reading your sentences: 3.1 A little knowlege is a dangerous thing. 3.2 You (really, really) have a long long (extra long) way to go in understanding, or even comprehending concepts of Five elements vs Eight House (Ba Cai) Feng Shui. 4. I seriously hope that you are not going to practise both "Fast Food" or "Commando style" sounds like but not real Feng Shui.

Dear Anon, In my opinion, the interpretation is based solely on the address. More importantly, the level at which you use traditional methods—or if you are only a casual follower of Feng Shui—may influence which approach is best for you. Alternatives like focusing on the correct shapes and forms, or avoiding poison arrows directed at the house, are easier to apply. More advanced techniques, such as Flying Star or Pillars analysis, depend on how involved you wish to be. In numerology, the term "troubled mother" refers to parental worries, which is based on the direct Chinese translation of the number combination 3, 4, and 1. numbers. Warmest Regards, …

Dear Anon, 1. Usually, a Feng Shui consultant would first do an audit of the home and afterwards recommend the placement of a water position (if it is benefical). 2. Other factors include, the breadwinners Ba Zhi or Eight Characters. If the person's element and strength is weak water or strong fire, based on his element, it would be advantages if such a person, has water in his home. However, if the person is a weak fire person, additional water would further exhaust him. Similarly if a person is a strong water person, he should not need more water as it would `weigh' down on him. 3. In general, without taking into consideration the `caution' above, one can generally act…

Dear May, This shouldn't be a problem. As long as you can block the poison arrow it does not matter whether it is artificial or not. In fact, for bedroom, it isn't too advisable to have real plants. This is because in the evening, the plants will also be fighting with you for oxygen. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Miriam, mir. station wrote: i'm hoping you can help me. i am moving to a new home next week. the master bedroom only has space for the headboard of the bed to be on the south wall. is there any cure for the poor placement of the bed? due to the size of the room the bed can only go there. i do not want to develop sleep problems! As you mentioned, since that is the only space you can place the headboard, there isn't much else you can do to position in another better favourable direction. So, in this case, there is nothing else you can do about this except to improve other areas of the room that you can correct. For example, make sure the room have a suitable colour s…

Dear Sophia, To clarify, what I mentioned is that they can share the same altar table, but separated or segmented. The elephant deity if it is immediately next to Guan Yin, should be lower height (if there is a stand) than Guan Yin sitting on her lotus leaf flower. Warmest Regards, Cecil
