Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I'am planning to buy a house, which direction of the front door suit me the best, and in what postition is the master bedroom In order to answer that question, you will need to know what element you belong to and what is your 4 good and 4 bad direction. 1. Please note that what you had mentioned has more to do with Heaven Luck (born with) and ba zi. 2. Under the Holy Trinity of luck, there are three kinds of luck:- 2.1 Heaven Luck 2.2 Earth Luck 2.3 Human (Man) Luck. 3. Your questions, frankly, is not so simplistic as proper analysis goes right down to even the dd/mm/yy of both partners etc... 4. As mentioned above, there are three kinds of luck. And if one divides them equally, all three are 33.3 percent and x 3 = will equal to 99.9999 or 100 percent luck. 5. What you are thus so concerned of is only 33.3 percent of the total luck. And furthermore, the danger of apply Heaven Luck so "religiously" is akin to the co…

Dear Riccia, 1. To increase the wealth factor, and depending on the flying star chart, a water position,(if appropriate) can help to redress this imbalance. 2. But in-order to be effective, the flying star chart for the specific period (or) if the next period's chart is significantly better, than, one should try to fly into the next period. 3. For example, for many homes under Period 8, where there are: 4. #5 or #2 or a combination of these at the main door - should check out the next flying star period to see if it is more beneficial to `fly' to the other period. 5. Rather than, doing mediocre enhancement or trying to squezze out more than what the current chart cannot …

1. In my opinion, when you mention "south on the bagua", I may rightly or wrongly come to the conclusion that you are getting a template and placing it over the layout plan. 2. If you are considering the "modern commercial invention" of fixed template Feng Shui, where this "joker" prepares a template with markings like: North (career) ....... then, this practise is NON Traditional Feng Shui. 3. As I have mentioned, TRADITIONAL Feng Shui is about taking the correct directions and superimposing say a Flying star chart. If you are applying Flying Star Feng Shui, then South is south, north is north based on the magnetic compass. If not sure, re-read, and re-read again. Alt…

Dear Cecil, I intend to buy a package from you, but still be confused which direction what method that I need to use. From the front page under your website, to have direction for flying star, you need to stand in the center of house and look into the middle of the door (https://www.geomancy.net/shoppingcart/storesg.cgi?action=link&sku=SELFHELPPKG4&uid=8333) But in this message from this forum, you said that we can stand in front of house looking towards to the horizontal road if it's land property or level from 2 to 7. Could you please clarify this because I have only 1 credit if I buy this package? Another question for this topic too, if house has front door whi…

1. The professional approach is to apply Flying star Feng Shui. And the most advantages is to see especially where the water star #8 is; and if it can be activated. 2. For example, if the water star is at the living room area and a "suitable" place can be allocated for the fish tank then this is the most ideal location. In addition, in general, locations that a fish tank can be placed are locations that have water star #1 or even locations where there are bad earth e.g. if the living room location has #5 and/or #2 and /or #9. 3. Please note that Gua numbers are secondary to the above. Even if one's gua is not suited to having a water position in a home, but if say a loc…

I notice the times she got painful knocks or fall sick coincide with big fire, water days. In my opinion, what you had mentioned above is indeed a tell-tale sign that the ba zi analysis is not correct. Anonymous wrote: As her name previously pick is of strong water and fire element, it seems not helpful. She is a difficult child to take care. Do you advise to get her name changed? Dear John, In my opinion as far as the Feng Shui of the house is concerned -- majority of the cures relate to placement of 6 coins. Frankly, so far, I have quite of RC clients and in this website... there is no compulsion to place or advice given to place inside the house things that you had mentioned. For six coins, as a cure under Flying Star Feng Shui, users in Singapore has an alternative of using 6 Singapore 1 dollar coins. (As shown under the following url - file reference: 6coins1.jpg:- http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=6+coins&cat=all&bool=and&x=7&y=9 Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Joyce, 1. I am not sure if you are familiar with the atttached method of finding the main door of the house:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm 2. If you have the layout plan and have difficulty finding the centrepoint e.g. especially if the house has many missing corners, then you - scan and attached it to this forum for me to help locate the centrepoint. Alternatively, you can email me for my fax no. (if need be). 3. I believe, the description you mentioned in finding the main entrance may not be `correct' as what I can understand. You need to be at the centrepoint of the house and from there, find the direction of the main entrance door. There may be dev…

Dear Laura, This is similiar to saying that the wealth sector falls in the toilet / storeroom area so I must work in that sector in order to benefit from it. (ie. bring a notebook into the toilet and work). Unfortunately, when wealth stars are located in certain sectors of the house that isn't fully utilise, there is very little that you can do to fully take advantage of it. Rather than trying to see how you can activate such stars that are trap in less useful sectors of the house, you might as well spend more time activating stars which you can benefit from or fixing other leaks in the home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applie…

Dear Oleta, 1. Frankly, and in my opinion, there are no hard or fast `rules' with regards to the color in a child's room. 2. But rather, it depends. Here, it depends on the location of the bedroom. For example, if the bedroom is facing a west location e.g. windows with direct sunlight that comes into the room. Then use cooler colours or a neutral colour such as white. Here, pink etc.. is not quite appropriate. 3. Some Feng Shui practitioners believe that the bedroom should (I use the word can) be painted to suit the child's Ba Zhi or element. This is quite a common advise provided by many FS practitioners. However, as I always believe, it depends on the level of particip…

Dear Sumtra, Please see below:- This has to be looked at carefully instead of making a quick way to turn the door direction EAST. Usually, other factors such as the birth of the house is analysed prior to changing the main door to the East. As the birth chart of the house will change if the door direction changes. For a weak water person, it is good individually to enhance a weak water person with metal element e.g. gold or white. The next best colour is blue / grey or using water element. Is the bed directly under the toilet area? If the above is the case, where possible, the bed should not be directly under the pipes especially sewerage pipes. Frankly, it is…

Dear Colleen, 1. For questions such as what colour should my bedroom be or what colours suits me you should make use of the your Personal Element Free report to determine your personal element. Eg. weak wood Would mean that your favourable elements are water & wood. Water => blue, black, gray Wood => green, brown So generally you can make use of these as your favourable colours. 2. For painting colours in a house. Generally, our advice is to leave it white (as it represents metal which is the most common cure for most problem). However, other colours are off-white colours which will make the house bright. Do not use dark colours eg. dark red, dark blue, instead …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: In this ever slowing real estate sale of houses in south west Florida, USA, I am wondering if there is anything that I can do to bring a buying to purchase my house. House faces due North. Unfortunately, Feng Shui is not a miracle cure for all problems. If the house has some good feng shui feature, you can make use of that point as an additional point to helping to promote the sale of the house. The other thing you can do is attempt to improve your own personal ba zi luck so that your overall luck will be boosted. This way, it may help you get a buyer that is interested in your home. Otherwise, theses non-feng shui factors are always at t…

Dear Evelyn, I believe the rationale, here is that the twin goldfish represents the metal element. And metal helps to produce water. In such a situation, it is possible to place the goldfish picture outside the toilet wall - if you want to. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Under the Flying Star theory, a house can be considered auspicious (bearing in mind that Shapes and Form Feng Shui has also to be considered) - if it has a "double" number similar to the period. For example, if the house's main door is located at North 1 and there is a double 7's i.e. mountain star = 7 and water star = 7 for a house under Period 7. Similiarly, for a period 6 house, there is a double 6's (mountain star = 6 and water star = 6) for a house built under Period 6. Similiarly, for a period 5 house, there is a double 5's (mountain star = 5 and water star = 5) for a house built under Period 5. In addition, houses built under perio…

Dear Adrienne, In my opinion, there should not be a major issue as to where it should be placed as overall, it is considered as a `metal' element. Overall, since it is weapon, it should be safely locked up and if possible, the ammunition should be (where possible) kept separate from the gun. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Chinese numerology and even any other numerology can be very confusing. This is because, there can be varied interpretation. And the same number can be considered auspicious but can also be interpreted as inauspicious. For example: a number such as 5. Some consider it auspicious because, 5 represents `balance' or the Five Elements concept. While others may view it differently e.g. Flying Star number which is inauspicious as it is also known as " misfortune " or Deadly Yellow or bad yellow star. 2. In Chinese numerology, the phonetic sound is equally important. Especially numbers like 4 represents " die " in Cantonese. While `8' represents `fatt' or prosperi…

Please refer to your questions (below):- Q1 : Not found under Traditional Feng Shui. The fixed bagua template: Knowlege/Education area = a modern invention. No basis under Traditional Feng Shui models. Q2 : Generally no major concern other than if you intend to use especially colours like: BRIGHT RED, BRIGHT YELLOW or BRIGHT GREEN. Then, try to get a proper Feng Shui audit done to assess whether can or cannot use such colors. Q3 and Q4 : No too homes are the same. You may wish to consider get a Feng Shui audit done. Such as advise on where to place a fish tank. Quote: Will the extension extend our Knowledge/Education area or will we be creating missing Money/Wealth,…

Sir, Our house will be constructed this April 2010. Lot is facing NE. I heard that house construction for properties facing NE must be avoided. If it is unavoidable, is there any cure? Thank you so much. Agnes

Dear Chai, In general, without taking into consideration other factors such as the current `Luck Pillar season' and other factors e.g. the House Feng Shui in relation to the Flying Star of a sector:- For a weak metal person, for personal self-enhancement, the best element is Earth element. The second best element is Metal element. Earth colour - yellow. Metal colour - gold or white. Warmest Regards, Cecil
