In such a situation: 1. Where possible, during the process of moving your bed from existing home to new home upstairs; you should if possible not be around at that time; as a well as once the bed has been set; don't move it or adjust it anymore. Here, your husband should be the co-ordinator and decide whether the bed is properly setand not later moved or changed position, whatsoever. 2. Often, if possible, after the bed has been moved upstairs; try if possible not to go into that existing bedroom (anymore). When the new bed / bedroom has been properly set; then you can go in.

Edited by Robert: Apologise, it takes time to get to each post in the forum. In the future, for urgent analysis, it is best you seek professional services. In addition, since our auspicious dates is personalised to individual so, unless you analyse the ba zi, I will not be able to advise if it is the best date for your friend. Hi adviser, I am checking on behalf for my friend whose house is still not fully completed but might drag till chinese calendar 7th month. She would like to move some stuff before the 7th month just to signify she has moved in already.I have checked and tomorrow the lunar calendar is 6 month 29th day which is a good day for moving. Hello I will move to a another apartment and I want to know if is ok to clean days before the selected auspicious date-time to move. Is there a special "ceremony" for the cleaning? What do I have to do the date of moving? Special items or things to do or bring (or what to not do or bring ) on that date? I will appreciate your quick reply Thank you

Dear Maria, 1. The Eight House Theory is but only one of the Feng Shui theories. It is meant to find how suitable one is to the house and where possible, sleep in one of a individual's good sectors. Beside this, it is good to face a good direction e.g. especially for study and work. 2. It is `not ideal' to have the above, if the house does not conform to proper Shapes and Form. For more on Shapes and Form, there are either many books around to understand the concepts or you can go thru the materials under My Resources (Resources & Articles) on this site. 3. Use the Flying Star analysis to chart out the birth chart of the house. Here, this analysis is to check for any …

Hi Theresa, Yes, that is correct. If you haven't yet move-in to the house, never bring in old furnitures. New furnitures that are delivered in before the move-in is ok. The moment you bring in old furnitures, that will symbolise that you have move in the house. Thus, move in your old furnitures only after you have selected your auspicious date to move in officially. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

1. If you want to apply proper Feng Shui, it is strongly recommended that a detailed analysis be done. 2. Furthermore, some sectors may not be possible to be "cured". For instance if the toilet is there, it is there so no amount of "Feng Shui" may help in many instances unless the toilet is not there. So how, bang your head against the wall? 3. Thus it is always recommended to try to maximise luck from all other areas, instead.

Hi Theresa, Ideally, it is best you get a new bed for the new bedroom, rather than move your old bed. However, you can still move your old bedbut you must not be present during when the bed is being moved out of your existing home as well as move into the new home. As long as you are not there in the move, then it is fine to make of the bed in another bedroom. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Niap Vun, Please see below:- The above is a stand method to usher in good luck to an office in the `Traditional' method. I am aware that not many people may want to practise the above especially if the office is situated in an open area (no privacy). And it can be rather inconvenient. Frankly, this is the only method. It is not possible to elaborate on Shapes & Form in a single message. But you may have to read more about it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Yes, this is a `strong' Chinese belief. 2. It is said that when one is pregnant, one should not move house or even change the bed position or any other furniture in the room. It is said that the consequence is to suffer a `miscarriage'. 3. I believe, in the past, there was no electricity and it could be (I am only guessing) that if one changes the position of furniture, and unwittingly, the wife (who is pregnant) may `accidentally ' bump into them or trip over them. Well, I am only guessing here of a `possible' senario. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ricky, I feel that the information provided by the book is not totally true. 1. In my opinion, what was written is too general to be applied. In fact, Nine Star Ki uses the same numerology as Flying Star Feng Shui. And some FS practitioners treat both as one and the same. Only the methodology used is different. Furthermore, I believe the book does not take into account the following:- 1.1 Date of birth of the house: Period 7 is within 1984 to 2003. 1.2 Personalised to the compass direction of the main door 1.3 It does not take into consideration the mountain nor water stars. 2. Let me illustrate why this is so:- 2.1 Flying Star House Feng Shui takes into account se…

Edited by Robert: Don't need to re-post multiple queries on the same topic especially in a short period of time. Sometimes really busy so haven't even have time to attend to the forum messages. Duplicate / Similiar post has been removed. Dear Cecil / Robert I am new to this website..I have finally managed to place my question in the right conference (I hope). I am moving to my new house soon and it faces NW. However next to it on the right hand side there is a park with a fish pond. I understand in period 8 that it is bad to see water in NE as it will have bad effect and downturn with our finance ($)....Could you please advise cure or element that I can do to prevent it…

Part II - Further to what I had mentioned, if one open's one's eye, big and wide, one can find that there are even more varied cures in Feng Shui. For example: 1. Use of Lighting ================== In modern times, Feng Shui cures includes the use of lights e.g. some FS practitioners request their clients use 5 bulbs to represent the 5 elements or in some hotels, they ask them to use circular lights e.g. in areas light tea room etc... 2. Drowning bad stars ===================== External Feng Shui is very important. And for those who live in a landed property and provided, if it is feasible, could drown bad stars immediately outside their sector instead of using e.g. meta…

Dear Master, Thank you for your free online tool to help us determine the move in date for a new house. My partner and I would like to move into our new house on 18 Mar 2021. Based on the Chinese 生肖,I’m Chicken and she’s Monkey. We are also both born in the year 1981. From the online tool, we don’t see 18 Mar as an auspicious date. However, due to limitations, may we ask if we can move on this date (I.e. staying over night at our new home). Thank you for your advice, Master.

Dear Cheui May, 1. Since you are aware of your element and strength, using it is more accurate means of looking at the compatiblitiy of the home and the individual sectors of your home. 2. The reason is because, when one looks at the Eight House Theory, we generally use only the YEAR of birth to derive our personal GUA (KUA) number. However, under Pillars of Destiny, we use the YEAR; MONTH; DAY and (if the TIME of birth is available) use all 4 Pillars = Eight Elements (Stem and branches) to deduce our true element and strength. 3. Since the common denominator is the Five Elements, we know that each element or each sector represents an element e.g. North = Water element; S…

Greetings Mr Lee, Thank you in advance for your very important advice! 1) Regarding accessing/buying a house, do we base the "House Number Report' on the date the house was built, or the date we plan to buy the house (2020)? 2) As we move forward in time will the Date ranges (for Example: 2024-2043) have an effect on the homeowners or is it still based on the original date that the house was built? 3) Will repairs or remodeling effect the house expression? and to what extent? for example painting add new flooring etc. or does it change when a new room is added? 4) I am wanting to understand if I need to look at all three periods from the date …

Greetings Master Lee, I recently discovered your site and just love it! 1) Regarding a new home purchase, I am wondering what to do about a house we like since the property has good front door frontage for me (SE) but not for my husband. We actually have opposite directions in everything. Wondering if my husband entered the house from the back door (NW) would that correct the problem for him? 2) Also the location of the bedroom is an irritation for one of us is there anyway to remedy a location issue since there are no other bedrooms better for us? 3) What do you recommend regarding the FS steps to purchasing a home? What does a consult cover? …

Dear Masters, I would like to find out if there is any way I can activate a pearl string formation of my flat if the external landforms don't support. Fengshui teachers say that real mountains and water bodies are required before the pearl string can be activated. Since I can't see any of these landforms around the vicinity, does that mean nothing can be done to harness the benefits of a pearl string formation? Thank you sincerely in advance for your advice.

Yeah, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, what you roughly mentioned; seems not auspicious. The best "test" is to check the history... who had previously rented the same "spot"? If possible, do more checking and/or speak to some of the neighours (tenants) of the building... to get some more information. Sometimes, it is amazing what we find.. e.g. the unit perhaps has higher turnover than say other units next to or nearby or within the building.... Good Luck in your venture!

1. In my opinion, the best way to approach such a question is to see if your question(s) is linked to any common sense (if any). 2. Customs and Beliefs 2.1. For example, the Chinese Cantonese dialect group dislikes number "4'. As when pronounced in Cantonese literally means "die" or "death". 2.2. This is pure common sense. And because the Cantonese don't really like number 4, it also affects some other Chinese thru intermarriage between Cantonese and other dialect groups or if the population by large is made up of Cantonese or Cantonese influence. 2.3. For example, Hong Kong besides Canton, China has the largest pool of Cantonese. And even in countries like Singapore …

Hello, We are living in a townhouse and there are three objects supposedly acting as poison arrows to the front door: - Pointed roof of a house exactly in front of the main door - There is a lamp post and a tree both of which are shorter than the house we live in. However both are not exactly in line with the front door, but a little away. I tried putting a Ba Kua mirror over my door, however because we have front porch the pointed roof does not get reflected in the mirror, though it is visible when we stand at the door. My question is - can I hang the mirrorto the porch ceiling in front of the door to face the pointed roof top, instead of over the door? Thanks and …
