Dear Anon, Can I clarify the following points: 1. The neighbour's mirror - facing your property: Is there perhaps a lone tree growing in your compound that seems to slice thru the window or second floor of your neighbour? Or alternatively, is there a private street lamp within your compound that slices into the second floor window of your neighbour? 2. When you stand at the main entrance, looking outside; can you see the mirror? Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jen, Thank you for the detailed information. Based on your information, it looks like a geniune: non-issue. So long as your main door and windows are not `threated'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Yes, any smell that filters into your home is not auspicious or even hygenic. 2. Since, this is preventable and not a permanent situation; frankly, try your best (if you can) to see at your end, try to be as diplomatic as possible to speak to your neighbours. Otherwise, there is really not much one ca do. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Feng Shui encompasses various aspects. The topic you mentioned below falls under the category referred to as the "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. 2. The reason some individuals assert that what you mentioned is "NO" good stems from the "concern" that, in the unlikely event that one or more of the three cars were to catch fire, the rising flames could pose a "death" threat to those residing or sleeping above this area. 3. This is akin to the common belief that having a bedroom situated above a kitchen is undesirable. The same reasoning applies here, as the likelihood of a fire occurring in a kitchen is greater than in other areas of the home. In s…

About the image, specifically the little square where i show the death line.. the door is not at North but at South for apartment H (but still bad energies affect the main door, right?). For ap. D, the main door is at North, as shown there. Sorry about the mistake. Let me know of any confusion.

Dear Peck Wun, 1. Once a person had already purchased a house, there is nothing much under the Eight House that can be used as a cure. 2. The consolation for you is that in terms of the house facing, and based on your information, it is considered a good house. Although the bedroom's may not be suitable. 3. As you have not mentioned who is the breadwinner; it would be best for the breadwinner to occupy the master bedroom. 4. Here, who ever contributes most or paying for the house should therefore, occupy the master bedroom. Frankly, in order for a family to get the best out of your house; the ideal situation is to do a full audit of the house and for the individual …

Dear Kath, In fact, having a house number with a `4' in it very common, throughout the world. Given this situation, it boils down to our own personal `thinking'. Frankly don't think too much about it. A house number is hardest if not nearly impossible to change. However, if you live in a landed property, many people, have symbolically `raised' the lettering of their house number e.g. at the main gate pillar etc.. For example, the number raised looks like: 4 6 Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Thao, Please see below:- You can make use of the Eight House report under the following URL:- Manual method of obtaining your Eight House Chart (with step-by-step) information on how to do so:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm Free computerised Eight House report is available under:- http://www.geomancy-online.com In my opinion, using sector Feng Shui is not effective to enhance your career. For example, some FS practitioners would advise that North = career sector and have advised their clients to enhance this sector. This method is too general to be of any good to everyone as it is not personalised. In Traditional Feng Shui, what is most important is …

Dear Mercury, Thanks for sharing with us the picture of the sticker. In this part of the world i.e. Far East e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Phillipines, it is quite common to find people of religious faith `combine' their religion with Feng Shui. Although Feng Shui is a non-religion. Here in this forum, we do not mix religion with Feng Shui. I have seen or studied quite alot of Chinese drawings(symbols) and emblems. Currently, the most popular drawings (symbols) are of 1. The Yin and Yang (circular symbol) 2. The First Heaven Sequence symbol. Even Geomancy.net uses both in its logo. Another variant is the I-Ching format or Tai symbol used by Geomancy-U.com and …

Dear Jennifer, It is quite difficult to understand your exact layout. Perhaps, you can upload a sketch of it for me be better understand your layout. Usually, the table is situated either facing the window or at its side. You mentioned that the large window is at (facing) the north and the door is at the (back) south. In such a situation, does the window have either blinds (preferred) or curtains. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sean, First of all, let me welcome you to the forum on behalf of the users here:) Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Thursday, May 20, 1999 4:28 PM Subject: My personal directions There are a few Feng Shui theories and concepts. Here, you have found out that your house is a " South " House. You should not look at the zodiac animal i.e. NE or North. For a South House, North = Longevity NE = Disaster East = Prosperity SE = Health S = Excellent SW = Irritation West = Spook NW = Death Here, preferable that you sleep with your HEAD facing any of the good directions. 1. The phrase "dust to dust..." 2. In previous communications, I have mentioned that cremation is viewed as a "neutral" occurrence. In contrast to a burial, where the location of the burial was believed to have an impact on the descendants' Feng Shui luck. 3. Anything that is cremated and turned into ashes is neutral, and there are no known factors that suggest a spirit can reside in ashes. 4. Due to the neutral nature of ashes, it would not have any impact on the Feng Shui of your home, whether it is from an animal or a person.

Dear Cer, In my applied Feng Shui book, there are three formulas that can be used to calculate the Qua number accurately. And they are applicable even if the date of birth is under year 2000 and more. You should use the website's free computerised software to check your Qua number which I feel is accurate. Ref: http://www.geomancy-online.com (Under the Free Eight House Report). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Buck Seng, Thanks for posting your message. Frankly, the hardest to reply are messages related to Shapes and Form especially if one is not physically present to comment. This is many things can be missed out e.g. especially whether the TPE follows towards the house in a curved manner inwards or outwards. In addition, the height of the flat and many more relating to the dragon and tiger elements etc... Therefore, I sincerely hope you understand that it is not fair for me to make a comment unless one is physically there. Shapes and Form assessment is unlike other questions posted here where it is about concepts etc... Other than Shapes and Form School, you sh…

Dear Dekay, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Saturday, July 17, 1999 5:44 AM Subject: my roofs are sloped Frankly, there is no effective cure for such a roof. Since it is not between the main door, this is OK. If it is between a window, you need to cure this. One way is to use `thicker' curtains. Warmest Regards, Cecil

This link shows a simple illustration chart between how Tung Shu vs Ba Zi select auspicious dates For some persons, selected ba zi dates coincide with the Tung Shu dates. For many others, since the dates are personalised to them and their partner; what is good in the Tung Shu may not necessary be good, here. Thus ideally, my advice is; if one were to use one method; one may be surprised to learn that it may not be good in the Tung Shu. Best to either say: I will pick dates based on e.g. Tung Shu (full stop.) Or if one chooses dates based on ba zi; then stop looking at the Tung Shu! This is simplistic chart showing the key differences between Tung Shu vs Ba Zi methods http…

Dear David, In general, it is good to understand the purpose of the eight house theory:- 1. The Eight House theory is usually used to look at locations where one spent the most time at. Thus, it is good that your sleeping direction is excellent. However, primary importance is given to the location where you spent most time at. Only after this has been looked at should one look at sleeping facing a good direction. 2. Spook is not as favourable but not as bad as death or disaster intangible force. 3. To find out how suitable the house is to a person, you can also look at the intangible force affecting the main entrance door sector. 4. Good facing directions. Sit facing a go…
