Dear Joey, For accessing the third floor accomodation, one should take into the consideration the main door location at south-west for taking the compass reading under Flying Star analysis for the room. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Angela, 1. Frankly, at a macro level, there should not be an issue on the design of an air regulator `based' on Feng Shui principles. 2. More importantly, it is the product and the shape is designed on the practical aspects of both incorporating it and how easily and cost effectively it can be produced / moulded. 3. For example, a split airconditionering looks almost the same for all models. Rectangular in shape, with removal filters. Air is circulated through the vents at the lower panels. 4. The only Feng Shui consideration is to avoid, where possible posion arrows e.g. sharp cornered objects. Where possible, edges should be rounded. Point no. 4 is the most importa…

Dear Christina, Please see below:- Yes, from a business perspective, this makes economic sense and being new, is equally attractive senario. There are 2 units Under Flying Star FS, the facing directions for NW1, NW2 and NW3 is particularly (good) proposition. While for SE sitting or facing is still pretty attractive. In my opinion, this unit may seem less attractive if (in particular, IF neighbouring roof-tops seems to slice or cut into the unit. But, this is correctable. In particular, as you have not mentioned how much "tinting" is on the windows, if the windows are well tinted, or looks like reflective glass from outside, this is often not a major issue. I…

1. Frankly, of course, this is not ideal: both in terms of Feng Shui and personal feel (especially if one is fully aware of this). 2. From the illustration, one good thing is that all the sewerage pipes are not sharing the same wall as your work-station. Which is a plus point. 3. Most likely the wall separating your work-station is made of concrete; this is again another plus point. 4. Traditionally, one can buy a hulu (around 2 inches to 3 inches) high and place it on one's table. If it is not hung, then metal (brass/copper) hulu can be used, here. Alternatively one of those wooden hulu can also be used.

I am looking for some simple cures (either with colors or placement of some objects) for relationship with the mgmt/bosses and smooth flow of daily work. My boss's boss is under stress and I happened to say something that touched him off. To say the least, I am in the dog house with him when it used to be a very positive relationship. What can I remedy to create a better flow and communitcation with the boss/mgmt.

Dear Cheryl, cheryl ludwig wrote: My best directions for my desk to face are SW and NE. The way my office is situated, for me to move my desk, it would sit diagonally. However, I thought that anything situated like that would not be good feng shui. What is the best possible thing to do in a situation like this? Thank you in advance. It is nice to get everything suitable to your personal feng shui. However, sometimes due to constraints this might not be possible. Especially, for office sitting directionis limited unless you own a room to yourself. Often, most people do not have much choice or flexibility in such changes. From what you mentioned, the current position woul…

White desks may have become popular because of the artistic look they create in every room, but we must not forget their true purpose, and how they help every individual, who uses them, to achieve better performance in every way. They are usually used as desks for office use, student desks and for computers as well. They contribute to success in day-to-day activities plus they create an artistic look in every home. As a perfect desk for office workers, it needs to have spaces to organize papers. You don't want a messy table with files placed everywhere, do you? You want it to be as organized as possible so as to ease your work load. It should have enough dividers for your…

Dear anon, Usually, it would be good for an employer to install low height partitions at your workspace (if possible). You have not mentioned whether your work space is an open desk or already have a low height partition. If you already have low height partition, this is fairly acceptable in an office environment where one's desk is directly facing the office door. And no further needed. It is good also that your table is possible, moved slightly instead of direclty facing the office door. In an office environment, we have to understand that often staff cannot control the situation. For info, only: see attachment. Some companies use this type of workstations x 4 o…

Dear Anon, In your case, frankly, I would advise you to take up option 2. As you have correctly mentioned, Option 1, especially with the railway line running diagonally behind the office is unfavourable. Option 3 - does not have back support and also not good if one cannot see the door. Overall, do give priority to Shapes and Form Feng Shui - which is Option 2. This is more important than facing your favourable direction. Thus, it is strongly recommended to go for Option 2. You can still consider option 1, but make sure that it is screened out e.g. using blinds. What one cannot see, will no longer remain a threat. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cheryl, cheryl ludwig wrote: I am attempting to feng shui my office. The main door to the office building faces west. The entry door to my office is in the SE. Which one do I use as my main door when trying to calculate the main door in order to feng shui? If you plan to do the feng shui for the entire building, then you take the main door to the office building facing west. However, since you are doing the feng shui for your own office location only, then you should take the entry door to your office which is South-East. Hope that helps. Dear Toni, Why don't you do a full consultation for your boss office. That way you can activate the mountain star and find a more auspicious sector for him to sit. Since he has given you the permission to change the door direction. Because if you change the door direction the flying star will change too. So I think you should focus on the whole picture instead of focusing on the stopping the Qi from rushing down. May be after doing flying star report you might not need to change the door location. So my suggestion will be to do a flying star report before spending money on changing the door direction.

Hi Mr Cecil My personal office door is directly facing (about 2m away) a toilet door & a storeroom door, since the toilet door & storeroom door is just side by side. My office which is located in the west sector has a window facing west, has double #8 star & #1 star, while the toilet has #7 & #2 bad stars. What should I do to ward off the negative effect of facingthe toilet door &storeroom door? Thanks very much Paul

Dear Cecile, I finally got the job of my dreams, however, my office door is facing East going 2 degrees toward the north (bearing in mind North East is my Chuch Ming area). I would like to know how bad is it and how can I cure it. Also if you can give me any further advice to enhance my carreer I will be very grateful. My Kua number is 4 and I am an East person. Thank You very much Cecile and happy New Year.

Hi Anon, Nntp Guest wrote: My boss upon seeking their master's advice, put a 6ft tall plant outside my room. According to my colleague, this is to prevent the person in that room (i.e. now its me) to leave the company. This means that I am stuck with this company whether I like it or not. And I have been feeling uncomfortable since the plant was placed outside my room. Is there a way to counter this and make me feel better working in that room? As you are only an employee in the office, it is difficult for you to put or suggest removal of the plant. So probably only thing you can do is attempt to add Metal to balance the plant. One suggest would be to have a 6 coins wit…

Dear Desmond, One must always realise that Feng Shui is not a miracle cure for all sorts of problems. Feng Shui main goal is to attempt to create a nice environment that everyone will feel comfortable in it. Once you feel comfortable with the environment thing should go much better for you. In terms of an Office Environment, there are a lot more factors which is beyond Feng Shui. Such as Boss and Employee relationship. There is no amount of Feng Shui that can change the attitude of a boss to an employee. This is more towards Human Luck or Human to Human relationship or even Employee to Employee relationship. I mean if you do your job well, and the boss still picks on …

Dear Mr Robert, Thanks for your reply. Will the change to period 8 effected on only the 1st floor (as the renovation was done on 1st floor) or the entire building? If an officewhich itsfrontage being extended/renovated, will the renovation warrants a change to period 8 only for the frontage or the entire floor? If an office without any solid wall internally, will tearing down of partition considered major renovation? Thanks. Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, ideally, one should not use a large cactus to neutralize the sha qi. 2. A large (indoor) plant would be a better alternative. It can also be an artificial plant. Also, on a "commonsense" approach, it would not be ideal to place a large cactus plant in a shopping complex or office as someone may accidently brush against it or their bags etc.. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Recently got a fengshui master. really nice guy. He says the office is okay but we need some things in it. Understand that our door faces NW but he says we got business but need to be careful and face some obstacles. He advise us to do the following.. 1. hang some metal painting or stuff behind the main desk. The main desk is facing nw. 2. we have a fake small aquarium with still water on the desk. He advise us that it is good to keep it there 3. Place 6 coins tied with red string near the door 4. Place another water flask or container with water on one of the table. Thinks he is quite good. Just wondering what is he trying to acheive and why do he do all this..…

Dear Miriam, In my earlier e-mail, I mentioned that this may not be a `luxury' for many of us. For example, when we do a survey or an audit for a company; if it is a reasonably large business that may occupy an entire floor or many floors; a professional geomancer looks at: 1. Since the entire floor is empty; the best location can be chosen for say the CEO and his/her deputies anywhere on a floor. This selection takes into account factors like Flying Star of the entire floor or a 360 degree analysis of the entire floor. And the same goes for crucial areas such as Reception, Marketing/Sales, R and D, Board room, Finance/Accounts, etc... The purpose is to try to fit variou…

Master, First of all wishing you a very happy and prosperous year ahead. I am very new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a question running in my head. I am in service. Work place that is assigned to me is obviously a "CUBICLE WORK SPACE", where i do not have the freedom of organising my furniture or my sitting position or anything. In this scenario please please suggest me 1 or 2 or 3 Feng shui objects that i should keep in my office cubicle work place for 1. Success 2. Good Fortune & Luck 3. From Enemy,Jealousy,Backbiters and Office Politics. Before giving you details about my sitting position, I would like to add, I love Bamboo Sticks in small g…

Dear Jason, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, June 28, 1999 2:07 PM Subject: Office FengShui If you only have a partition, then you cannot really apply the Flying Star, as it is too small an area for a house/office evaluation type. You can make use of the Eight House instead to face and work in your best direction. The only way you can do it is to use the entrance to the entire office, then take the subsector which you partition resides in. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, When facing a desk in front of a window with a sea view behind you, Feng Shui principles suggest having strong support at your back to provide stability and enhance positive energy flow. Using a low or back cabinet is a practical solution to supply this support while still enjoying the view. Alternatively, positioning your desk so that your back is against a solid wall and facing a favorable direction offers both physical and energetic support. This setup is preferable to sitting with your back towards a door or other less auspicious locations, which can disrupt focus and diminish your sense of security. Additionally, the overall Feng Shui of you…
