Dear Janna, Usually, the type of cure will depend on the number and type of # number at a sector. Since the sector already has 7 x 2 (small metal); followed by a #2 (sickness), then one set of 6 coins would be appropriate at the specific sector. Please try to determine exactly where the North is? The door closes to this North --- the six coins placed here. Do try to check whether NE or SW has also any other #2 or #5 within these sectors. hi i have a situation. in my bedroom, i am working facing my best direction. however there is a wall with a small window behind me. i was told that sitting with my back facing a window is not good as it suggest lack of support. changing my working position is not possible as my room is small. i wish to know what can i do so that i can work facing my best direction, but unaffected by the window behind me.

Dear Anon, Thank you for your attachments. Although, it would be interesting to comment on religious buildings; it is prudent to understand that:- 1. Authentic Traditional Feng Shui is not a religion. Everyone be it a layperson or even religious preaches have their own right of view of such things as Feng Shui. 2. I have difficulty finding the center of the flat. Attached are two files (center01.jpg and center02.jpg) of my possible findings and not sure if there are correct. Please advise. Dear Anon, In pratical Feng Shui, practical because many of us do not personally design or develop the house ourselves. In traditional Feng Shui, there are lots of houses which follow this strictly. For example, in many of the old houses (and even in Singapore) we can see toilets at North and a Ba Gua shaped balcony at the south (with a pointed roof). However, since many of us cannot simply with our wimps and fancy change the placement of a toilet bowl and even the shower/entire toilet. In fact, what is more important is `Qi' or qi flow in the surrounding and around the home. Here, pools of water even if they are quite a distance away, often at the `back' can be considered favourable. 3. Dear Michele, In Feng Shui, it is not favoured to have too many pipes running below the house for two main reasons:- 1. Having too much water or `water running' especially at the floor area is not ideal. As water is considered `difficulty'. 2. This point has to do more with commonsense approach:- `Wear and Tear' - since pipes often expand and contract, there are often known cases of some of these pipes that perhaps due to poor quality control or wear and tear. Dear Michele, 1. Usually, there is no issue if the collection cistern is in the form of a tap. 2. It should be treated as just any other pipes. 3. But more importantly, it should not be located at the centrepoint of your landed property. Nor allow it to criss cross underneath the house. For a landed property, it is equally important that the sewerage pipes (where possible) run at the back of the house and out of the house. It may make us feel good (perhaps a short while) but when it does not work - who do we blame? Often a Shapes and Form practitioner will `mentally' look at this flow. Dear Emily, If one is applying Feng Shui, the basis of choosing colours to paint is based on one's ba zi (favourable) and if the house is owned by husband/wife, then especially for the bedroom and living room area, the binding element plus which sector the room is at can affect the consideration for the colours. Please note that this free advise forum does not cover personalised date of birth as this is usually needed in a ba zi analysis. Colours to paint is dependent on ba zi element and strength. Dear Hoa Luong, Please take it down immeidately! This is because of the combination of #6 (big or strong metal) with #8 (water star). This #6 already fuels #8 or metal produces #8.
