Dear Din Lee, Din Lee wrote: Need to know if my office sitting position is facing the six killing ie "liu sha" position and i cannot possible change my sitting arrangement. What can i do to minimise the bad impact.. Generally, unless a personis holding a key position in the company, it is most unlikely that you will be able to have the flexibility to choose a sitting position. So there is very little you can do even if you are stting facing your inauspicious direction. However, what we always advise is that there are still many areas in your life that you can improve. As long as, you can improve your ba zi luck, even if you work in an inauspicious direction, your luck …

Dear Anon, If the table is within a cubicle, then this is fine. It is also good that your table is `supported' at either side or by a partition. So long as the pillar is not pointed at an angle to your table, this is acceptable. In an office environment, because of constraints, one may have to live with it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Irene, If you can provide or attach a simple sketch of the layout; it would help me greatly in understanding the layout of your office tables. Ideally, the table(s) should be against a wall; And it should not face directly a door (if possible). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi master, I'm currently working in a office where my table is directly facing the door. Is there anythings or ways to avoid the "chi" to directly comes to me? I'm not able to change the place because the tables are already located. Hope that you can help me out. Thanx.

Dear Annie, 1. Reference location map: http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/map.jsp?x=28803.82&y=28968.79&level=7&postal=088879&star=1&xyfile=&oldX=28803.82&oldY=28968.79&heading=150+NEIL+ROAD%2C+BUKIT+PASOH+CONSERVATION+AREA+%28088879%29 2. Yes, in my opinion, the Cantonment entrance is better. 3. Nowadays, with air-conditioning, there is no issue with road noise. 4. Given that often, one cannot directly affect the external environment; from a Feng Shui perspective; the most Feng Shui can do here are: 4.1 Examine the main entrance facing - and harmonizing the signage to fit the `facing' direction of the unit. For example, the direction will b…

Dear Diane, Ideally, (in my opinion) the centre-point of the home should have clear space. However, in your case, as you had mentioned, the stairs at at the centre and closet. For this you may have not much you can do to redress this situation as it is physically there. It is too premature to say what is causing your fiancial problems at this moment. You should (frist) try to check for `threats' towards the home i.e. stand at the main entrance door/window to look for `poision arrows' that may be aimed towards the home. Other considerations are the Shapes and Form of the overal house (external, internal environment check). Or to use Compass School techniques. Warmest Regar…

Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net These are some considerations:- 1. In general, somehow for convenience; an industry is slotted into a specific element. Thus, in general; oil as you had mentioned is considered as belonging to the fire element. While in general, transportation is considered as belonging to the wood industry. 2. Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers; Look at where we are today! We are in the age of "multi-tasking" and "multi-skilling". 3. Therefore, there is really no end to the various (if what questions) like we transport oil so what should we be considered? What happens if one is transporting milk? What industry should that be in. Or we are tra…

Dear YC, Yes, symbolism is very important in Feng Shui: 1. Most importantly paintings must not show animals that are `fierce'; too thin; on the prowl & looks hungry etc... 2. Since, you have mentioned that the painting is a resting, friendly tiger, in my opinion, this is acceptable painting. Where possible, place this painting in areas where there is clear space e.g. living room area. And not in enclosed or small confines of a bedroom. 3. Other types of paintings: 3.1 Paintings near main entrance or living room area: If one is using traditional Chinese paintings, one can use e.g. paintings such as 8 or 9 koi fishes. To symbolise clear space. Calligraphy is ok. 3.2 Pa…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: thanks for your reply, is it okay to place a water feature at nortwest palace to enchance water star 9. while placing remedies or enchancers inside the palace should one apply small tai chi or one can place within the boundaries of the palace or one can place within a palace 15 degree of mountain location. Usually, for cures, you should try to go for colour scheme balancing which is the most effective to cover the entire sector of the room. Then there will be no issue in applying or placing the water feature. In general, you want to apply or place the cure as close to the 15 degree sector of the direction to be most effective. Hope that help…

Dear Anon, 1. Usually, these coins are replicas and `tons' are made. 2. If you are in Asia, these coins are plentiful especially in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore etc... 3. In the internet, there are now many Feng Shui emporiums. Use a search engine for Feng Shui emporium and you should easily find one of these companies selling `ready' made or tied coins. Do compare their pricing. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. The act of giving shoes is a tradition in China, much like the custom of avoiding giving clocks or bells as gifts. 2. However, considering these shoes are "old", there may be some flexibility in how we perceive them as gifts. It could be seen more as a kind gesture rather than a traditional gift. 3. For individuals of other ethnicities, this may not be a concern, as there is no obligation to adhere to customs of a different culture. 4. I recall a time, many years ago, even in a predominantly Chinese community, where there was a promotion to purchase a new pair of branded sports shoes at a discount by bringing in an old pair to either recycle or donate to…

Dear Kaushal, The Education, Scandal and Romance may be activated if you have a water element. Also, a water feature should not be activated here if it is not in the living room or open space area. You can only active the star if the area is neutralise (eg. your 6 coins) and if it falls in a bedroom with the direction having no windows. Please see extract in the next para. -- Extracted from Activating Mountain Star from the Flying Star Report -- The mountain star works only if an object is either hung on the wall at the location or something with mass is placed high on a shelf at this wall. -- End of Extract -- I will not go into details. Use the online Flying St…

1. As I mentioned, in the previous message; if Feng Shui is to be applied; usually it is based on Para 2... e.g. Flying Star Feng Shui and/or in the Far East, if a place has good Shapes and forms Feng Shui; it can sell by itself. 2. If you are especially say in the US, housing market is pretty stale at the moment with tons of homes on foreclosure and many uanble to get proper loans. 3. Honestly, Feng Shui is not a cure all. Only those that has been mentioned in my last msg (refer to Para 2 of that msg) and under Para 1, of this msg.

Imagine, if this is true:- 1. All Geomancers will be "shaking their legs" while waiting for the beginning of lunar new year! 2. In fact, some people were told to have their premises reviewed "Yearly"! This will be sweet news to the ears of every Geomancer! 2.1 Thus imagine, if a geomancer has 500 new clients every year! And if 50 percent of the 500 new clients asked for their home to be reviewed yearly or even ever 3 years! If we accumulate this 500 to every year of geomancer's service, he will be rich beyond the wildest dream! 3. Thus have anyone heard that a Geomancer only works in the beginning of the year and like bears hibernate the rest of the period? Yes / No?…

Dear Chee Foo, Please see below:- Since your flat is so high, you should take North as the facing direction. Frankly, for a standalone (landed property) home, it is much easier to fly over the new period. Since for the landed property, removing some of the roof-tiles and replacing them (plus cleaning the rest) would help. In my opinion, since we are just begining to change qi, it is better to do what is mentioned by you, perferably one or two months later rather than during this interim `cut-off' period. For an apartment, usually to play safe, one symbolic method is to paint the entire ceiling. This is symbolic of removing the roof of the "apartment". As lion danc…

Dear Stan, Frankly, too many ba gua mirror is an overkill. As mentioned in the earlier e-mail, sometimes, many of us like to hear `nice' things. Often, these are more of Ren Cai or man or human luck. It may make us feel good (perhaps a short while) but when it does not work - who do we blame? This is why, many Feng Shui practitioners are often act more like `counsellors' than Feng Shui practitioners. Often, this is a psychological thing. For example, often after every of my audit, the client (Chinese) would ask : where is my `wealth corner'. I can understand that it would certainly make one feel nice to have such a corner or that such a corner existed. And some practit…

Dear Hartono, Grateful if you can clarify further. Do you mean that your home has two set of stairs or is it the building that you live has two set of stairs. Usually, if it is the building, this could be due to fire regulations where many buildings have two set of stairs on both sides. For stairs in the home, (interior) of the home: 1. The stairs should not be located at the centre of the house. 2. The stairs should have a turn or landing and not be one long set of steps. 3. Where possible avoid spiral staircases. 4. The steps should not be directly seen from the main entrance door. 5. It is ok to have to sets of stairs in the house. This is acceptable especially if one …
