1. Honestly, if one truly applies proper Feng Shui, it is difficult to firstly comment on such a Yes/No question. 2. Proper Feng Shui is about looking at the site (site review). And selection of facing direction, and others including the drainage positions etc... Quote: Anonymous wrote: our lot is located in front of an upward road we areconstructing a house and we plan to put a gate on the other side hidden from the road, will this help? please advise on how to deal with key lots thank you.

Dear Anon, On your part, you can try to continue to have a reasonable communication with your husband. (Not based on yelling or screaming or on bad things). Sorry, I am not a counsellor, but usually, many times, couples with already two children can bring in your two children. Or try to reason the continual of the marriage for both your two children's sake. Please see below on Feng Shui issues:- Yes, there are many times when there is a direct path between the main door to the backyard area. I am not sure if the wood shutter covers can still allow air to flow freely from the main door to the back. If it is not `air-tight', there is still a leak from this area. Pe…

Dear Niap, Please see below:- Clear space at the frontage is an alternative to having a water position, here. If it is flown to Period 8, in my opinion, it may not be advantages to the male breadwinner as there will be problems if this sector is "uncured". Since there is an imbalance of too much fire x 2 times. Make sure that the room does not have too much wood (especially green) to further inflame it. Introducing earth element is a double edged sword, at this sector since, earth can fuel further bad metal (#7 theft/robbery star). The most effective element is water: Blue, black or grey at this sector. All users please don't simply copy what is the base, mountain…

We need to renovate the north and northwest sectors ofour residential lot into aparking space for our car. As we understand, no activity must be done in that area this year 2008. But we really need to do the renovation. Is there a cure to address this disruption in those areas?

1. Please note that there are different interpretations with the regards to to the Four Symbolic Animals:- 1.1. Shapes and Forms If you consider shapes and forms then, literally the dragon is suppose to be on your left and the tiger on the right. As what you had mentioned. 1.2. Compass School Compass School interpretation is different. And strictly, North = Black tortise, while South = Red phoenix; East = Green Dragon and West = White (Metal) Tiger. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-four.htm Katrina L. wrote: Hello Master Lee According to your article and under Shapes and Form feng shui --- The dragon is located to my left (representing East) …

1. My advise to all is: "When the buying stops, the selling can!" 2. Commercial products are modern inventions. The main purpose is to cheat us of our money into buying them:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commercial_Products Momo O. wrote: I am a west person. dragon sign (1964 Dec). Dear Pam, Frankly, I would have to say, it depends! For a N3, P7 home, do check where are the activity rooms e.g. living or family rooms. If they are located at the back of this home, then, it is ok to keep to P7. However, the current P7 home has inauspicious #2 and #3 with #7 at the centrepoint of the home, thus is reflective of loss of wealth and sickness within the home. One may have to either consider changing to P8 or look at changing the main door direction to a N1 home (depending on the situation). Like I mentioned, more investigations should be made, first. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, In my opinion, this is of secondary importance unless: 1. the toilet is next to the main entrance (at the frontage of the house). 2. or at the center-point of the house. Where one of the toilet wall does not share an external wall. Both cases usually have characteristsics related to financial problems. 3. Otherwise, in most cases, nowadays, it is very common to have an ajoining toilet to the master bedroom. 4. If the toilet door is facing the bed, then symbollically, one can use a table stand with a table lamp. Here, this is symbolic of a `screen' or partition between the bed and the toiet. 5. In addition, even if the toilet bowl is not directly visible, one sh…

Dear Chee Siong, 1. There is no cure under the Eight House Theory as it cannot be broken down into the Five Elements concept. 2. The theory is very useful; if one has yet to purchase the house. And it serves as a good guide or indicator as to how suitable a house is to a person. 3. It is good to hear that the bedroom and study areas are good sectors for you. 4. Depening on your interests or non-interest in other Feng Shui methods; you may like to find out more on the other discipline of the compass school of Feng Shui: Flying Star Feng Shui. (It is used to further reduce any possibility of problems). Otherwise, if you personally feel that the current situation is acceptab…

Dear Youqing, 1. Thank you for your sketch and clear description/details. 2. Based on Compass School Feng Shui, to me, it seems that it is unfavourable to have a pond at the location you had mentioned. 3. Given that you had shown the compass marking that the proposed pond is to be located somewhere at South-West. This is at the West/South-West sector which is at the `white tiger location'. 4. At the white tiger location, it is not advantages to have a pool as this could result in financial distress later on. 5. This is because, a pond your proposed kidney shaped facing the home looks much like a drooped or `sad' looking mouth. 6. Even if it is in the opposite direction…

Dear Jeanette, 1. It is good to understand that, as a guide, a missing corner should be one where there is a 33.3 percent missing `area' in a specific sector. Here, the home is sub-divided in 9 equal divisions or a 3 x 3 grid. 2. It is good to examine, whether it is really a missing corner or a protrusion. As different `treatment'/intrepretation is used. 3. If there is a missing corner in the home and the house is a: 3.1 Landed property If it is a landed property, an outline of the `missing area' or boundary can be created outside the house. A top-view will then show that the missing area has been outlined by a boundary. The boundary can be shrubs, fencing or layout on …

Dear Anon, 1.It is always best to understand each concept or theory in order to have a good grasp or proper foundation to help us achieve success. 2. The first thing that comes to my mind when you mentioned Gua or Kua is: 2.1 What is it based on? When we first try to apply this we need to provide an input. For Gua or kua numbers : we merely need our year of birth. However, contrast this carefully with the inputs needed for ba zi analysis. For ba zi (Pillars of destiny) we not only need to have the Year of birth, but also at least the Month, Day of birth. And if we can, try to also use our hour of birth. 2.2 So what is so different with these two concepts? We can tell at a…

Dear Benjamin, Please see below:- Yes, it is prefered to have a water fountain at the frontage of the house. Usually, the water fountain should be low and this would represent clear space at the front. And a fountain can help to circulate `vibrant' Qi at the entrance. In your case, you can still leave the fountain there but consider other water element e.g. in colour such as grey, black or blue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Grace, 1. In my book Applied Feng Shui Made Easy, Page 58; I have listed two formulas that are applicable even in 2000 and more. One of the formula (Method 2) is: - Take the year of birth = 00 - Add the last two digits to get a single number = 0 - Add 5 to this single number - Add two digits to a single numer. this wil be your daughter's Gua no. For example: Born in 2000 0 + 0 = 0; 5 + 0 = 5; 0 + 5 = 5. Your daughter's Gua number is = 5. 2. Another easier method is to goto www.geomancy-online.com and generate a Free Gua Report. The Free generated Gua Report available at the above link also confirms that your daughter's Gua no. is 5. " Your Gua (Kua) Number No. 5 Gua…

Dear Max, Overall, if your office is at ground level or within the height or blocked by the level of the warehouse store wall, this is considered inauspicious to have an office there. However, you mentioned that there is a street between this piece of land and the wall. If u have a picture of the frontage of the land facing the wall, I can have a look to provide you with further comments. Other considerations:- 1. Under the Five elements concept:- 1.1 Earth element warehouse? If the warehouse is a flat structure i.e. flat roofs - then this is considered an "earth structure". Or if the overall building is a `flat' like structure with roofs. To counteract or `create' wealth…

Dear Yew-Meng, Thank you for the sketch of your layout plan. I have marked the centrepoint of the house. The attached illustration will also show that you should take the compass reading from point A to B. Please refer to the above. You should be able to find the direction of the main entrance based on the attachment. From your sketch, it looks like your main door is at the North. It is a serious flaw if the house has its main door facing a hill. Ideally, the main door should be a the frontage or many of the windows for the frontage are located here. Sometimes, the main door can be at either side i.e. East or West. If one purposely built the frontage facing …

Hi Master, My house advertised for sale since beginning of the year has not been sold successfully. Those similar qualities houses advertised in the same batch have already sold except mine. Some said activate the NW with some red or yellow flowers could help. Some also say clear the clusters will able to sell house quickly. Unfortunately none of them work for me. My house is facing NE at 63.3 degree. Selling price is based on market value and potential buyers came and view but gone without further negotiation. Is there any way to attract serious buyer or sell house quickly? Thank you.

Dear Mimi, Sound economic sense previals over Feng Shui with regards to setting up a business: 1. What is the pedestrian traffic flow to the shopping centre? 2. Is this shopping centre meant for a specific type of business e.g. electronics plaza? health/health science related shopping centre? 3. What is the business model / business plan i.e. is the business viable? Or is the business based on hope or a fad? 4. For example, three to four years back, I often receive calls from `businessmen' who wanted me to Feng Shui, their (Taiwanese) model of `bubble tea' outlets. 5. These bubble tea is roughly the equavalent of something like the western " milk shake " business. These …
