Hi Master Lee, I would like to seek your advice on whether this unit is subject to poison arrows and/or tian zhan sha from the buildings opposite? The photo is taken from the balcony, which is perpendicular to the blocks on the left. The second photo shows the view out one of the bedrooms, which faces the opposite blocks on the left. The balcony is facing East, main door facing north. I wonder if you have any advice on whether this is ok, and are there any issues to look out for? Thank you!

Dear Master Lee, Thank you for your prompt reply. Cecil L. wrote: 7. I read somewhere that Pakua mirror is usually used for Poison Arrow cures but in this case its the windows- I just thought Pakua mirror doesn't seem appropriate here .... 1. Name plate pointing towards your entrance:- Unfortunately, the best alternative is a tit-for-tat situation. Install the same pointed exactly towards your neighbour'sname plate is one solution. 2. You mentioned: two bagua mirrors .. fixed facing your door If you have a photo of the mirrors would be great or at least describe each of the mirrors e.g. one mirror has a bagua trigram on the outer rim and a concave or convex mirror.. etc.. If you have more details; then may be just may be the tit-for-tat house number plate is not necessary. Without more details....... difficult to figure out what is the "cure" especially for the two mirrors that you had mentioned... Ma…

Dear Master Cecil, Thanks for your quick response. I am planning to use the convex mirror. Before I put it up,I still need your advice on the following: 1) Does the convex mirror work for the staight path in front of door as well? Please refer back to the picture of sha qi of neighbor's roof, poison arrow. If not, what cure do I use? 2) I have two windows that are on the same side with the front door where the poison arrow also pointed at them.Beside putting a convex on the front door, do I also need to put a convex mirror on each of the window? Further more, have you a chance to review my question on the back of my house? Please refer to the picture of seeing …

Hi Cecil, Thanks for your speedy reply, here's the information you need: There is no main gate, it is a private compound with open space: a small lawn, a garage and a driveway. The fire hydrant is roughly about 341-343 feet and approximately 20-30 degrees from the main door. Our driveway is gently sloping down to the main road so I would say maybe slightly higher than the main road. And also, there are two lamp posts:one directly facing main door and the other is at the right side of the house. Isn't there any possible way that we can view lamp posts as positive? Gratefully yours, Sejanus.

Dear master, My Kua number is 5. In office, I am sitting facing NE, sitting at the SW corner. But behind me, there is a L-shape corner unit with a poison arrow shooting right behind my back. I thought of hanging a wind chime there but it looks very awkward. But the area is too small for a pot of plant. What shall I do? thanks. carina

Dear Anon, 1. It is interesting to find out the survey results on the following question:- 2. Are you comfortable sleeping facing a TV set (mirror)? A short simple 3 questions survey. 3. The results of the above survey can be found under this URL:- http://www.geomancy.net/polls/ (The third last question on the above polls menu). 4. From what you had mentioned, this need not necessary be considered as `poison arrows'. Some of us may be `immune' to or are not affected by the `reflection'. While others may be affected by it. 5. Perhaps, you may like to ask yourself the following question:- "Am I able to sleep comfortably with it there (the closet mirror)?" If you either fee…

Dear David, 1. The best solution is to see if the bookself can have e.g. doors. Other than this, some cover the bookself with cloth but may not look appropriate. 2. As for the cabinet, it may not be a threat unless the EDGE is pointing towards you. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, You can use the triangular effect that Cecil talks about. Place two pots of plants on both sides of your main door.

1. The convex mirror that you have mentioned is acceptable. 2. Based in the concept of: "if it is not seen, it no longer is a threat" could be considered (if practical) i.e. drawing down day curtains or blinds; can be considered.

These are some considerations: 1. Whatlike the "mosque like" building is in my opinion not a sha qi or poison arrow fromWHERE you had taken the photo. 2. Usually, when standing at where you took the photo; it should be directly facing the location. Here; it seems more like to the left side ofthe"location". Thus, definitely not a threat. 3. From a broader perspective; some may consider a "threat" as what I had mentioned under Para 2: where it is directly facing the "location". 4. Frankly, there are other considerations like the distance. Thus; the distance of thebuilding is consideredquite a distance away. 5.For example; thePetronas Twin-Tower. This building is so tall and"…

Dear Terry, Terry Law wrote: How can i block Poison arrows/Sharp corners from the pillars pointing to my bed in my bedroom? Could this be the reason why i am having insomnia at night? Like the earlier post, if you can shift the bed to avoid the corner from cutting into your bed. If not, find ways to cover the corner, maybe some curtain decoration or if you can put some decorative partition etc to block it. In addition, you should also check if your room is affected by the afternoon sun, which can often cause a room to be too hot even after the sun has set due to the heat that is trapped. These is also often a factor which can affect a person's sleep. Besides Feng …

Yes, you are right to point out that the poison arrow (concrete beam edge) in my opinion exerts around 1 metre range of sha qi or poison arrows. I only gave a quick glance of the layout plan; 1. Standing at the main door when looking into the kitchen, should not have a glimpse of sharp objects like knifes or scissors.. as based on Shapes and Forms, this is considered inauspicious. 1.1. While based on commonsense, it is rare but if someone were to run into the home, sees the knives; grap one and go threaten the family members... (More on commonsense, here). 2. In the event that the dining table can be seen thru the corridor of the main door area and orbedroom 3, then if t…

One must understand the concept: 1. If one does not spent lots of time "exposed" to the sharp wall edges; then this is not an issue. 2. Many homes have exposed sharp wall edges and again, if you are not "there" what is the problem, here. 3. Most of concerns are at places we spent most of our time. Thus, I would be concerned if the sharp wall edge is in the bedroom and even if it is in the bedroom, it must literally cause a poison arrow. 3.1. And it is not the same as; "you feel that it is a threat"; but in many instances or in reality, it does not pose a problem to say one's bed. 4. The same is true for a ceiling beam. If one is not under a ceiling beam for 2 hours per da…

Many Thanks Master Cecil. I think it is all clarified now. About your statement number 5...No need to worry, we live in a place where people do not even have a slightidea about Feng Shui principles...Few Chinese people live in our locality and every amulets (cures) we hang or place in our vicinity were thought of as mere ornaments. I'm a believer of white Feng Shui and hard work...I try to be at one and in balancewith our surroundings. Morepowerand many blessings always...

1. All three may be considered "herbs" of sorts. Pomelo leaves are crushed and often used as remedies for arthritis & aches. 2. The closest equivalent "Chinese" thing is as you had mentioned from the citus family. In Asia, there are at least three variants of the citrus plants - many that have adapted to their country. 3. The citrus fruit especially lime is also used for "cleansing rituals/beliefs". For example, when someone felt that he/she has bad luck - flower bathing ritual includes a cut lime (cut into two pieces) combined with the flower - after a bathe to symbolically wash away bad luck... 3. While ecucalyptus can also be used, abeit, more exotic than the a…

Dear James, Often, because water is good at the frontage of the house because of the concept of `clear space'. If we have water, nothing can be built above it. This is also symbolic of a bird flying freely at the front of the house. For many Feng Shui practitioners, they are worried about `opening' the white tiger's mouth (wrongly). For example, if the water position is at the West (which is the location of the white tiger); it is symbolic of an open (hungry) mouth of the tiger. Where it is ready to pounce and engulf `people'. Often, itmay lead to financial distress. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hansel, hansel tan wrote: hi there the size of my current pond is 9ft in lengnth X 4ft in wide X 2ft in deep i plan to dig deeper like about 5ft. can i have a shallow part and a deep part like there would be a part with 2ft and a part with 5ft ? Should be no issue to have part of the pond in 2ft or 5ft. hansel tan wrote: my pond location is on the west facing rising sun. is that good? Dear James, 1. Often, a better method is to apply Flying Star Feng Shui. This is because, if the sector that you are placing a water position has #3 or #4 i.e. bad wood elements (disputes, legal entanglements, scandals etc...) 2. Then under the Five elements concept: Water helps fuel wood element. 3. In such a situation, this will further inflame #3 or #4. 4. If you are not sure what I am talking about, please do some research into Flying Star. Or do a SEARCH in this forum for this topic. 5. The worst location based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui is to try and avoid water position at WEST direction of the house. As this is said to be the white-tiger domain. Water could in…
