Yes, in my opinion it is acceptable to do so. If too small is considered only a play thing.

If your home is a P8 SE3, South sector has bad stars MS#5 with WS#3 and Base#3. Yes Yin water may be used to control MS#5. For the water you may place some crystals but not wood chips or plants in it. As this may inflame #3.

1. In my opinion, your home should still be considered as a Period 7 home. (Unfortunately, it is not so simple to Fly to Period 8 as many have imagined). 2. Based on your description, in my opinion, it should usually be South facing. If you have stayed in this home for several years, no harm in drawing a Flying Star chart for both South and NW - and check to see if which is more accurate. (When checking the critical stars are #5, #2 and #3 negative stars which often leave some "clues" behind). 3. It is still a better choice to activate a water position (especially) if it could be done at the double #8 (current prosperity) sector. To "prevent" roving eyes, you can chec…

Imagine, if this is true:- 1. All Geomancers will be "shaking their legs" while waiting for the beginning of lunar new year! 2. In fact, some people were told to have their premises reviewed "Yearly"! This will be sweet news to the ears of every Geomancer! 2.1 Thus imagine, if a geomancer has 500 new clients every year! And if 50 percent of the 500 new clients asked for their home to be reviewed yearly or even ever 3 years! If we accumulate this 500 to every year of geomancer's service, he will be rich beyond the wildest dream! 3. Thus have anyone heard that a Geomancer only works in the beginning of the year and like bears hibernate the rest of the period? Yes / No?…

1. Please note that generally "Feng Shui" cures are or should be considered as "preventive cures". It is not meant to be used for "existing situations" such as say constant backache etc.. 2. Whenever in doubt, always seek professional help! 3. The ideal choice is the luxury of selecting a home where in general, majority of the bad stars are not clusted at the "mouth" of the house (frontage) and anywhere that we frequently spent time at. Of course this is a luxury most cannot "afford" or too late since we have lived in the home. 4. Nowadays, if we want "clean" air, it is best to depend on Hepa cleaners (such as reputable brands like Honeywell air cleanrs or Japanese Sh…

1. In my opinion, when you mention "south on the bagua", I may rightly or wrongly come to the conclusion that you are getting a template and placing it over the layout plan. 2. If you are considering the "modern commercial invention" of fixed template Feng Shui, where this "joker" prepares a template with markings like: North (career) ....... then, this practise is NON Traditional Feng Shui. 3. As I have mentioned, TRADITIONAL Feng Shui is about taking the correct directions and superimposing say a Flying star chart. If you are applying Flying Star Feng Shui, then South is south, north is north based on the magnetic compass. If not sure, re-read, and re-read again. Alt…

1. Frankly, after reading several of your messages, hope I don't mind saying that you are really "impatient" to apply Fast Food Feng Shui! 2. Isn't it better to know all the facts rather than do DIY Feng Shui. Or leading the blind to guide you! Quote: Ellen E. wrote: Thinking ofcontructing a 4 ft x 2 ft pond for water lily, lotusand other water plants at the left side of my gate. Can I build the pond outside my fancing? 3. For example, you make the above statement. And expect me with all the "blind" unknown variable and adivse you whether it is good or not to built a pond outside your fencing? This is not right! I might as well use a dice and throw it and then give you …

Frankly, this is the first time I heard of "weird things" like using wood chips in Feng Shui! If in doubt, always contact the owner who gave you this information. In my opinion, to most of us, it can mean anything under the sky.

Dear Ken, Anonymous wrote: As I'm very new to Bazi, could I trouble you to enlighten me with an idea as to how your online report has ascertained I'm a Strong Yang Fire? I was born on 24 Oct 1985 between 12 am to 1 am. This information is exacted from a portion of the paid ba zi report for your date of birth:- Element Strength Percentage 0 Water Extremely Weak 0 % 2 Wood Weakest 8 % 4 Fire Weak 26 % 5 Earth Strongest 55 % 1 Metal Strong 8 % You are a Fire elemen…

1. Please note that there is no cure under the Eight House or Eight Mansions concept:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach For example, for the Eight house, it is best to spent time at good sector or face a good sector (FULL STOP). 2.1 If you cannot do the above, there is no further cure for it. Eight House concept is usually YES or NO type of senario. and there is no such thing as cure for it! 2.2. Thus is your house direction facing a good direction? YES? NO? 2.3. Is your bedroom in a good sector? YES? NO? 3. Seriously what can be done for the above? Yes or No? If NO, then, if one still wants to apply Feng Shui, then jolly well, look at this co…

1. Frankly, majority of the time, or intuitively, once we see a room, often, we have in our mindsa suitable seating arrangement. 2. As your message is vague, it is best that one should feel "comfortable" sitting in a direction viewing tv (based on para 1.). 3. Thus, I really won't know for sure, given that there is no layout sketch. Even if there is a layout sketch, if Feng Shui is applied, considerations like the shapes and forms, eight house and flying star Feng Shui is considered. 4. Honestly, a Feng Shui practitioner will often consider the environment. If the environment is a bedroom, a "sane" FS practitioner would never recommend a wind chime in a bedroom! 5. …

1. In general, yes priority should go to the Flying Star Feng Shui. As it is "real time" or dynamic! 2. For example, if one asks any army (or navy), "real time" intelligence "beats" static non dynamic info all the time. 3. Thus drawing a parallel to Para 2, above, and the above reasoning, priority should always go for "analysis" or "approach to an action" based on something that is or close to real time. 4. While, the Eight House/Mansions should be considered as NICE to have and not a MUST have! Quote: Katrina L. wrote: Hello again Master Lee, We plan to build a new house facing W3 and sitting E3. According to my eight mansions chart, SE is supposed to be my best loc…

1. Traditionally, in general, one of the main purpose of ba zi is to "zero in" into most common tool: What isyour personal ba zi element and strength. 2. For example, a person may have a result as a "weak wood" person. 3. Although you are not wrong, sometimes it is very difficult or impractical to apply. 4.1 For example, the Flying Star Feng Shui has the 20 Year stars, the yearly stars, the monthly stars and even daily and hourly stars! 4.2 Thus, even if you know say the Water wealth star #8 is at a specific moment in time of the day, would one be free enough to have a moveable water feature to move around (a cluttered) home! It is not like plugging in a vacuum clean…

1. The Eight House (Eight Mansions) concept is "fixed". For example, as you had mentioned, if north is your favourable direction, then most likely you are an East group person i.e. your "overall" good or acceptable directions are " North, South, East and South East". 2. While Flying Star, as you had mentioned, is based on "star numbers" and their combined significance. 3. There are situations where a room can be surrounded by bad stars. Some rooms or some homes depending on the flying star numbers may even be affected by truly bad stars such as #5 #9 #5. If so, it is very difficult to disarm such stars. While rooms with #2 and #9 could most likely generallybe neutralis…

1. Usually, facing a wall implies that often, in some instances, we may have our back to a door. 2. Thus on it's own, work facing a wall is perfectly alright. 3. Given that you are new and that this type of layout in some office is common to save space or utilise limited space. 4. Under Eight House Feng Shui, it is considered good to sit facing a good direction. So, if you are facing a good direction (Nice-to-have) and not a must have, then this will be one plus point. 5. Having one's back to an entrance door - often is more of personal "comfort" level, as often, nowadays many work on a computer and the screen is visible - plus often many of us don't like being "surpi…

1. It is best to check whether the NW sector of your interior apartment is not a "missing corner". If so, and if you have a garden, it is good to either use landscaping to form an outline of the "missing corner" or install a light at the corner of the NW to "extend" the missing corner. 2. Generally, if this is the exterior of the home (apartment), then often, planting greenery is acceptable. I see that you are not applying Flying Star Feng Shui. But rather, trying to apply "fixed template" or looking at at sector and looking at what colours are best for it. 3. In my opinion, always try to keep the garden as "natural" as possible. Thus, plants are acceptable. If Flying …

1. Yes a water position should be turned on 24-7. Other things like lights etc need not be 24 hours. 2. Commonsense approach is that if pump is not 24 hours may cause mosquito to breed. 3. Best to apply Flying Star Feng Shui, instead of applying kindergarten Feng Shui to placing a water position. 4. Frankly a small water feature is more of a play thing than Feng Shui thus not so effective!

1. In some instances, a wind chime is often recommended as a form of "moving" metal especially a 6-hollow rod windchime. (Especially if a sector has bad Flying star numbers with #5 or a combination of #5 with and/or #2 and/or #9.) 2. Sometimes, non-moving metal such as a row of six coins tied with red string is hung above the main door. It all depends on the flying star number(s) particularly the Mountain Star # and Water Star # at the main entrance. In some instances a set of six coins is enough. But in certain cases, alternative "moving metal" may be used. E.g. a common wall clock could be considered. Or those grandfather clock with brass fittings. (Of course some of t…

1. Frankly, on the surface, one should not really resort to moving home unless, both the shapes and forms of the home is "terrible" and the Flying star qi does not help at all. 2. Most of the time, even if a home is unsuitable for family members, most of the time, "health" if analysed and disarmed properly can be negated. 3. Thus often it is not as serious unless there are more to it. 4. For example, if the house isa one level house, avoid sewerage pipe(s) running below a bed or living room sofa (etc..). 5. I am confident (in general) proper application of the correct Feng Shui can help your situation.

Frankly, it is difficult to change the external factors, since majority or all the time, we do not have control over this. It is not like, one can get the dragon side to be higher than what it is or the tiger side -- lower. This is not just possible. Thus, you have to consider maximizing the FengShui of your home by other means i.e. improve other areas of your home, instead.

1. Feng Shui encompasses various aspects. The topic you mentioned below falls under the category referred to as the "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. 2. The reason some individuals assert that what you mentioned is "NO" good stems from the "concern" that, in the unlikely event that one or more of the three cars were to catch fire, the rising flames could pose a "death" threat to those residing or sleeping above this area. 3. This is akin to the common belief that having a bedroom situated above a kitchen is undesirable. The same reasoning applies here, as the likelihood of a fire occurring in a kitchen is greater than in other areas of the home. In s…

Frankly, it is strongly recommended that one does not apply "Fast Food Feng Shui!" Quote: Anonymous wrote: I have been unfortunate in the romance and love area for a few years now. I am wondering what are some of the best feng shui colours, object placements, etc would be for the bedroom. Or if there are particular things or colours I should be wearing. I've heard placing lots of pinks/reds/purples (colours of romance) and items in pairs in the bedroom would help. Looking at the above, I am pretty worried that you may not be able to (on your own) given that you are trying to apply some sort of Feng Shui. Often, such Feng Shui is akin to a dog circling itself trying…

1. It is good that you have observed that your daughter has "better" left brain skills (logical, mathematical...) than right brain (intuitive, subjective, spatial) skills. 2. In theory, better careers based purely on Ba zi for a weak wood person are careers in the water industry and wood industry. 3. Accountancy belongs to or is considered as a "metal" element career. Thus strickly based on ba zi to define a career, a weak wood person should be "surrounded" by water. As water supports wood. Only then can "metal" destroy (weak wood + water). 4. In my opinion, as parents, it is good to know but, I believe, you will also leave it to your daughter to pursue anything under …
