These are some considerations: 1. Earlier, I have explained under scientific Feng Shui; the qi flow in common types of homes e.g. terrace and in particular this type of layout plan. That seems to look similar to what you had posted earlier: Openings at the front and opening(s) at the side. Thus, you may have to stare at the two layout and look what is similar or dis-similar. But the gist under this qi thing is "commonsense". 2. Feng Shui is not as simplistic as posting a layout plan. 3. Location, location, location. 3.1. There is such a thing as how rain falls to a property and how it drains OUT of the home. 3.2. The exterior landscape, the site, the building etc.. 3.3. …

1. Yes, fortunately, two things are in place:- 1.1. It is far better in this layout plan i.e. the frontside is not at the rear of the home. This is much better than the frontage facing the "T" junction. 1.2 Yes, the landscaping with young trees does help (alot; tremendously) your plot of land. 1.3 In addition, with your car porch and garage, it is good for these to be at the back of the home. With all the above three considerations, and that the young trees will ultimately mature and grow bigger, this is a plus point. Thus in my opinion, although you have the "T" junction, the above three points 1.1 to 1.3 overweighs this inauspicious "T" junction. Anonymous w…

Sir: I have several related questions: (1) When does the Chinese month of September begin and end? (2) For aKan person, living in a Zhen house (280 degress facing), built in 2001and has 3M bad wood, 7W bad metal, 6A good metal, 3 Month bad wood to avoid lawsuits in September would the remedy be metal, and fire in October when 2 bad earth visits? (3) The 7-3 combination is also in the SW for the month of September. Am I correct that the remedy for that month would be fire? (4) Ever since we moved into this house in 2002 we have hadmanylawsuits or arguments with people. One argument has been going on the entire time we have been here. Is there anything I can do to stop thi…

1. The best method is to evaluate using Flying Star Feng Shui to assess favourable location(s) for the sceptic tank and water tank. 2. After applying the Flying Star Feng Shui; Shapes and Forms of the property in relation to the interior / exterior layout of the building should next be considered. This includes, where the piping of the sewerage lines will enter or flow into the home - avoiding passing thru below a bedroom etc........ 3. The "last" or not necessary must-have but rather, nice-to-have the sceptic tank at one's unfavourable - eight mansion's sector. 4. Where possible, drinking water tank should not be located so close to the sceptic tank in-case of contam…

Dear Cecil, Thank you for the advice. I am relieved to hear that I probably didn't cause all these water/drainage type of problems with one of my amateur "cures". We have had 2nd opinions and it is really "broken". It is good to know my fiddling didn't influence it. Kathy

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello, I have a huge problem and I would be very grateful if you could help me as soon as possible. Today on September 11th, 2007 the city did send a company that started ground digging with an excavator directly next to my house because they want to lay a new electric pipeline under the earth. They will open the whole ground in the Southwest, the West and the Nordwest along my house. Additional they will drive(drill)a hole in my basement wall which lies in the west of my house because they want to place an electric pipline through my cellar. Now I?m very worried because the Grand Duke is disturbed and the Three Killings are affected. What can…

Dear Miu Kwan, Please see below:- 1. Under Eight House Theory, `Irritation line' as it suggest is minor as compared to `death or disaster' sectors. 2. If there are no serious problems, especially health, you may if you want to `skip' Flying Star analysis. 3. Symbollically, in my opinion, it is still best to use the main entrance. Rather than become a `servant' yourself when using the back door. 4. Another "controversy" is that if the main door (frontage) is opposite the backdoor, it makes no sense to call the back door (facing the backyard) the main entrance. Here, removing the house number, to place at the back door, is not a `logical solution'. 5. The Eight Hous…

Dear Master, I read several other reference thread pertaining T-junction. I have a situation here whereby unit (highlighted in red) is facing a bomba service lane (suspected to be super minimal traffic, but who knows). The gate will be 2 cars width, means there will be close to no wall. Bomba lane should be standard 4.5m width. What kind of gate design would further improve the potential sha qi in this instance. Thanks in advance in any advice.

Dear Angelina, For a 3 / 2 base 6:- Although there is a base 6 metal element. After it exhausts #3, it will become too weak to exhaust #2. Yes, you can add metal or a wind chime here. Do note that it would be `disasterous' to use a wind chime if it happens to be in the following combination:- with 2 / 3 base 6 For such a combination, quietness or stillness is required as this combination can result in " severe " quarrels even between family members and if left uncured may result in lawsuits even within family members. This combination is particulary worse if it is in the bedroom area. It is why, if in doubt i.e. for those who try to apply cures - use 6 coins instead. Be…

Dear Mercury, Please do a SEARCH for fish tank. I believe, there are numerous references in this forum where I had provided advice on what to look out for -- a fish tank. You should not have a problem finding or reading in detail what are the do's and don'ts here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, There is some truth in this. The rationale is because usually, at (high or higher levels) the statues will not "clash" with our normal living. A. "Salivating at what we eat or drink!" Most often many of us have limited wall space in a home. And it is very common to find the statues facing e.g. the dining table or the living room coffee-table. In such examples, placing the statues at low levels would imply that they could literally be "eyeing" what we eat or drink! And thus considered disrestpectful. In the above, two examples, thus placing the statues at a higher level would mean that they are usually above this line of sight, thus is a better choice given …

Dear Everyone, Before, I answer the question on mirrors, there is an important concept of mirror: " Mirror, mirror on the wall ". Please see illustration in the attached file. (Only available under web-login to the forum. Attachment not included for those participating or listening in from an e-mail mailing list). History: 1. The Cantonese dialect group is particularly fond of placing mirror(s) in the living room. The idea is that food on the dining table can be multiplied. 2. The above, is particularly favourable to Hong Kong Feng Shui practitioners. Especially since the majority of Hong Kongers are Cantonese themselves! 3. Interior Decoration and Mirrors (C) Cecil Lee U…

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I really do understand (or thought I did) the five elements concept clearly. I believe my confusion comes from reading conflicting information. i.e Idiots guide: center of home: 3(sitting)7 (facing)5 construction. their comment was: Metal pierces wood, domination cycle involving the unfavorable #3 and prevailing but inherently unfavorable #7 - add reductive phase water. ISN'T #7 LUCKY UNTIL 2004 WHEN THE CYCLE CHANGES? Am I making too much out of this? Any good books you could recommend? Thanks soooo much.

Appended by Robert Lee: Please note that what you are askinggoes beyond the scope of this forum (iea simple advise). In order to give you answers to all your questions will require a full audit to be conducted before answers can be given about the best placement, what enhancments are needed etc. It is best you get someone to do a full consultation so as to help you on this since it is urgent. This will be rather lengthy but I have several issues that need to be addressed. I am moving upstairs in my mother's house. My bedroom faces SE and my computer room faces NW. I need to know the position for my bed and television in my bedroom and the position of my computer in the o…

Dear Knight Elliot, Everyone has some form of personal intuition (often known as like Sixth Sense). Some people have very strong intuition, others have less. It is hard to tell you from a third party point of view, exactly whether the repeated 11 is it auspicious or not. Probably it sounds like a warning to me at this point. Usually, when a person is very close to you, when something happen, you just have some feeling about it. Quite natural. Sometimes, the best thing is not to be overly worried. When you think too much into anything, you only stress yourself out and add more worries. Especially, so when things just do seems to work out well for you. Unfortunately, we …

Dear Master Lee, I am looking to purchase a landed property. The house faces west and the back fence is higher than the front. My concerns is with a Government sewer line that runs down one side of the land, (from the back to the front). This Is a sewer line that connects to surrounding properties. It does not go under the house. Please could you advise on the negative effects of this sewer line. I humbly thank you for your help.

Dear Elena, Yes, there is a recorded study known as something like "bubology" (sorry my spelling is wrong). This is a study in Germany where it was found that there is high correlation of cancer with beds above a sewerage pipe-line. Feng Shui is much about this invisible "qi" or water course such as a sewerage pipe which could emit harmful "vapours". It looks like it is difficult to relocate your bed. But are you sure that the sewerage pipe runs directly... or anyother better placement of the bed. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi! Good day! Is a sewer pipe, in the attached photo, running in the ceiling (will be concealed with a wooden plyboard), a bad position or placement in Feng Shui? The bed will be placed below it, though not directly. Please advise? Thanks a lot!

Hello, We have sewer pipes exiting our home to go to the septic tank. This, of course, has to happen, but I am concerned about them crossing the path of the front door. They are of buried underground and they do not cross the front door entrance. Is this okay?
