Geomancy.net is the best communityI everfaced in my life, for cultural Identity directions that can be apllied in life. The layer of awarenes that implicates a certain basefor people to functionat full potential, is being activated once people areinformed of the feng shui theories. That is allI can sayas an Art student. once again Best regards andgood luck!

Hi, Please read below:- Actually, if you look at it realistically. Why do you ever want to put a painting or candles in the bathroom? I mean won't the steam from hot/warm water, damage it or put our the candles? So far from what I know of this, I don't find anything wrong with having shower curtains. I don't think that belongs to any Feng Shui related issues. The rational behind it is that if you notice that flying star always changes, and it is definitely possible for the bad stars to fall in any one of the true sectors (eg 0 degree, 45 degree etc). So when this happens the good chi which say happens to be southwest this year would go down the drain? So, because…

Dear Anon, After taking a second look at your sketch, althought the sketch is not to scale, but based on your sketch, the stove seems to be close to or at the centrepoint of the home. Based on one criteria of Shapes and Forms Feng shui, where possible, a fire position should not occupy the centrepoint of the home. Should the cross lines of your compass marking (thru scale) does not cut into the centrepoint = stove then, it is ok. This is especially true especially where a toilet bowl should where where possible not be at the centrepoint, also. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. The true essence of Feng Shui is to: - correct any imbalances or sha qi/poison arrows. - enhance beneifical Qi. If one looks at the above carefully, there is a distinction between enhancing Qi and `beliefs' Chinese or otherwise. 2. We commonly hear that a rabbit's foot is `lucky' or hanging a horseshoe is `lucky'. 3. Since what you have mentioned do not directly relate to the `terms of reference' under Feng Shui, it is anybody's guess that any if all beliefs will work. Sometimes it is psychological. Which may result in one thinking positive and thus contribute to `luck'. 4. As the action e.g. is not tailored to an individual, one cannot say for sure that it …

Dear Anon, 1. The best is often to move out of the home during the renovation period. 2. For the Chinese, it is best to pray facing the grand duke. For example, it can be a simple apology by saying: "Apologies or sorry to disturb you, as I have to start renovations, soon. Some Chinese offer two incense sticks with 5 fruits on a plate to applease the god. As for the Five yellow or work required outside of the home place some metal between the home and the work to be carried out. Otherwise, can still do the above prayer to the spirits of the home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Joan, To be more accurate, usually, the three components are looked at i.e. MS#, WS# and Base # to come to a better understanding of that specific sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Khairul, 1. In my opinion, there are many books available on Shapes and Form Feng Shui. 2. In architecture or interior design, Shapes and Form is the most applicable. 3. Other than the above, `space clearing' is a common topic. 4. Under this website, you can find many free resources: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/map.htm Particuarly, main topics like: The Landscape, The Site and The Home. 5. Alternatively, you can get like one user mentioned: Basic Feng Shui by Lillian Too. Many of her other books are either repetition or have in my opinion, many contradictions. Alternatively, get books that have a good mix of pictures/illustration and wordings (explanations). Warmest R…

Dear Mabel, It is best to investigate your interior office (qi) based on the office main entrance NW3. As this is often, the qi flow into the 2nd floor. If only, is much bigger, and closer to the passage-way, you could investigate it. But, since, you mentioned that it is a small business, and if it is not close to the main entrance or lobby or has it's own door at main lobby, but rather, need to enter the office via, NW3, then, in my opinion, NW3 should be used, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil I So which correct Appreciate your Regards

Dear Audrey, 1. As mentioned in my reply, if one is basing it purely on the Eight House, then this is not an ideal home. 2. However, many other factors must be taken into consideration. The term "location, location and location" is still the primary factor. 3. More often, we have to buy within our means. And, I believe, in Singapore or elsewhere, one do not need Feng Shui to understand that price is often linked or associated with a location. 4. For example, a place with a `nice view' often can command a higher premium (with or without the word Feng Shui factored in). 5. This is why; the saying goes "the rich, gets richer and the poor gets poorer". Here, the rich can ofte…

Dear Angelia, 1. Frankly, instinctively, we should look at the bedroom layout and always sleep in a "comfortable" natural position. 2. Either sleeping under one of our four best directions AND/or sleeping in a favourable Flying Star sector(s) are both considered NICE-TO-HAVE and not a must have. However, if we do encounter very bad flying star numbers like #5 and or #2 and or with #9, then, these are the worst stars and if so, we should or if could avoid sleeping within these sectors. For other flying star combinations, they are usually of a lower concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Feng Shui is about earth luck. And usually an investigation using Flying Star can help detect any issues with regards to health in one's home. The tell tale signs of health issues are especially: 1. bad star numbers e.g. #5 with /or #2 with or #9 combined or in isolation 2. These stars fall either in the bedroom or frontage of the home. For example, for wealth wise, a Period 8, SW1 has good $$ prospect. But such a home potentially has to "take-care" of health issues/problems. For example: Period 8, SW1 :- Frontage SW has M5 W8 B5 Back NE has M8 W2 B2 As the frontage and back of the home are equally important, such a home has to control in particular bad…

Dear Dragana, 1. Under the Eight Aspirations concept, the career sector is `suppose' to be located at the North and not south. 2. Overall, do not be overly concerned with fixed template as it is not considered reliable as it is too general to be of use (effective use or application). 3. Thank you also for the layout plan. From what I can see, there is one problem which is the toilet is next to the main door. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Master Cecil, Good day. I have been clueless for the past few days as i just realise that the top of main floor is a bathroom (as per pict attached). Been doing alot and alot of research and i have been getting mixed answer. Can you please advice me what can I do because i am really clueless on how it will affect me and if it really will, how can I find a remedy for this matter? Thanks. Regards Chong

Hi Mr Lee, I live in a flat with my mother. I suspect that there is a toilet above my bedroom. At night i would hear smallnoises from above me, people clicking on and off the light, as if they are in a toilet or bathroom. My life has been a very very unhappy one. I can't find a job. I can't concentrate. I lack a lot of confidence. I am always depressed. I can't study. I feel so lazy at times. I just want to cry. I am thinking of buying a pa qua mirror reflecting outwards and face it to the ceiling with a strongbrown sellatape? Will this be an excellent remedy. I am suffering so badly. Always tired too. I have along lamp shining onto the ceiling but it doesn't work. I…

I signed a contract to purchase a townhouse. There is a toilet upstairs right above the entry way. The house is being built right now. Is there a cure or remedy so that I won't get bad luck? Should I cancel the contract?

Dear Anon, Ideally, this is not good. But, I know of many new developments or a few developments that are already 4 to 5 years old with a toilet above the entrance e.g. Corporation Drive townhomes. But, fortunately, better Feng Shui was practised to redress any other leaks. In my opinion, a toilet above is not the best. But, it can be considered as one major leak. Therefore, if possible a home should not have more than 3 or more of such leaks else it may give riseto problems. Usually, also, it is best that the home "fits" the ba zi of the breadwinners. If so, thesewould lead to fewer leaks. Warmest Regards, Cecil
