Dear Master Thanks for you advice. The house is a Period 6 house (built around 1968) and my best direction (prosperity) is north west. The house front faces South east, the back is towards north west and the toilet is in the centre of this north west sector next to the back door. I have been lighting a candle in the toilet and placing water in a wooden bowl inside as well. Will this help? Also, can a iron bell or windchimes help to activate this section of the house for me? I hope you can advise me further. Thanks again. Regards Peter

Dear Chee Kiat, 1. No, you do not need to turn on the table lamp light. 2. This area has to do with `Shapes and Form Feng Shui' rather than saying that the table is wood and lamp is fire. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I reliase that my wealth sector is located in the toilet and store. How can i maximise my wealth sector to benefit me financiallyor minimise my losses (as financially i have not been doing well). If your wealth stars falls in your toilet or storeroom area, you will not be able to maximise or activate that wealth luck. In fact, if the wealth stars falls in your toilet, it will symbolise a leak of your wealth. One method is to place a chinse hulu (bottle gourd) usually to help minimise this is to attempt to symoblically trap the some of the wealth before it leaks out. If it the wealth area falls in your storeroom, then you can't benefit from …

Dear Mabel, Please see below:- Frankly, it is quite difficult to answer your question, strictly from the perspective of SW = Romance sector. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, often, sectors that have #4 or #3 (are related relationships) together with the combination of #1 water .... relationship issues.. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, MS #8 is the mountain star. And, activating it can often help in relationships. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, WS #7 under Period 7 and WS #8 under Period 8 etc... has to do with water wealth position(s). Perhaps, it may be a coincidence that SW may have some or a combination of #3 etc... One of the cures in Feng Shui is to place a bottle gourd i…

Hi Master Lee, I realised that my master bedroom toilet is located in the SW of the house. I read online that the possible solutions are not to use the toilet, use of plants or put windchimes. As it's not that possible that we stop using the toilet, are there any other remedy? Can we just make use of plants? Thank you.

For toilet in the middle of the house, how can we reduce the energry from leaking away?

Hi Anon, Since the toilet location isn't a good location in the house, therefore it is ideal to have stars like the illness/misfortune stars. Usually such bad stars if fall in the toilet, storeroom etc are ok because they are not key areas in the house. The Kitchen is a fairly important area, so if there are any sickness or misfortune sstars, then you should neutralise the sector with Metal (white/gold colours). If the sector already has like star 6 or 7, then it should be much of a big issue. Generally, the best and most effectiveway to cure is always to balance the sector with the right colour scheme. If not, the traditional cure for big metal is to have the "6 coins…

Dear Lionel, Seems like it is ok. As the toilet is not in the middle but rather close to it. At the ground floor, it is best that the toilet is not located at the frontage of a home. On the second storey, it is preferred that the toilet is not above the main entrance door. Generally, what you had described is pretty common for quite alot of homes and still acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Toilet pipe

Dear Wasis, In such a situation, frankly, the essence here is that the bed should not be on the same wall and particularly, the `waste pipe' should not criss-cross or next to the bed. The only option is to leave a gap between the bed and this wall. This is perhaps the `lesser of the two evils'. Where it is not ideal for the bed to be away from the wall but this is much better considering the above. Warmest Regards, Cecil Regards, Wasis

Using eye-ball method, please see attachment for the centrepoint. Looks like the centerpoint is not located in the toilet. It is located in the kitchen. But fortunately, it is not directly above the stove which is inauspicious. The Concept of Maximizing Marksshould be applied should the toilet is located at the centrepoint.

Dear Anon, Usually, this (toilet at the centre) of the apartment is considered as ONE leak. But often, as mentioned, it is considered as ONLY 1 (ONE) leak. Furthermore, what is exactly at the centrepoint is crucial. If it is the toilet bowl directly at the centrepoint then this is considered1 major leak. But directly at the centrepoint is just the entrance or walk area, and basin, then this is not as bad as the toilet bowl at this direct location. Many homes can do with or afford to have more than 1 leak. And as no two homes or apartments are identical; it is best to "investigate" into each home to check for:- 1. whether there are further or moreleaks? 2. what we can d…

1. Yes, this is indeed, true! 2. In traditional Feng Shui, first check which sector the litter box is placed. In the Chinese trigram, each sector represents a specific person. And this may affect the health of that specific person and even ill-luck to that person. 3. Make sure that the litter is cleaned daily. And some Feng Shui practitioners recommend "a nice looking" or designer - branded type of litter bin - of such nature.. Quote: Salina G. wrote: I have two cats and would like to place their litter box in the basement. I know that regular toilet has to be placed in a certain direction of the house because it affects one's health. Will the placement of the litter …

In many countries, constructing a false ceiling using gypsium board material is a simple solution. Since you said no way to construct a false ceiling; then what? saw away the beam? Frankly,it is not like one is sitting under this beam 24 hrs / 7 days a year sort of thing? Such things are like some of the past messages that I had posted:- For example: Can you suggest any other way for all my 8 family members to sit in my saloon car? What the heck? after 5 members squeeze into the car, tie one family member on the roof? and another on the bonnet and the other place in the boot? Any suggestions? Go get a 8 seater MPV!

Dear Anon, Thank you for bringing up such an interesting observation. 1. Symbolism or importance of it is one of the key components in Feng Shui. 2. Since your finance is affected after doing so, it is prudent to see if you can correct it. 3. "The Customer Service Engineer Concept pr CSE Concept." Sometimeback, I coined this term because it is a useful term to remember. 4. Let me share with you this little observation. 4.1 In the past, I saw this incident: 4.2 This IBM machine (at a remote site) was giving intermittent communication problem with the host for many months. And remained unsolved. 4.3 Most of junior IBM Customer Service Engineers (CSE) could not solve this …

1. In fact on the contrary, toilet under a staircase is instead a blessing in disguise. 2. Frankly it is luckily just a toilet. Another common area is a storeroom below a toilet which is equally ecxellent. 3. Thus a cure is not necessary, here. 4. A dining table facing the stairs is again, based on shapes and forms is nothing serious so long as the dining table [is not too close to] the estairs that should anyone accidentally falls or trio, will not hit especially the head against the table. 5. Based on Shapes and forms, again, avoid any sharp objects on the dining table e.g. a scissorss placed on that part of the dining table for too long. 6. A plant, at the dining table…

Hello Master! Does a toilet underneath the staircase have any remedy? I have been looking at a property with the attached plan - the stairs continue over the toilet and laundry here to the first floor of this townhouse. Or should we no longer consider this property? Many many thanks!

This article I wrote around 1996 (thereabout) shows the danger of underground water. (Underground water may include underground water channels or even sewerage running below a bedroom:- http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.php For those who are building their dream home should take serious note of it. And for those who stay in landed property, it is good to find out where your sewerage pipe is running on the ground level. Hopefully, it is not running below your living room sofa, or even a specific bedroom in the ground floor!

Dear Juliana, These are inherent problems that one should avoid if possible. Frankly, there are no cures unless, the bathroom is not above e.g. the study room or dining room. Where possible, spent less time at these locations. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Frankly, the main concern is that of placing an altar with it's back sharing the toilet wall. 2. For example; this applies to both Chinese altars of various gods and even some Catholics who have a small "symbolic" altar. 3. Otherwise, any other concerns has more to do with personal feelings or personal sentiments: in your case a deep concern of placing family photos say on wall mounts. 4. Given the layout plan that you had provided; in-fact, there are many who had placed their dining table next to the toilet wall or sharing the wall -

Hi Master Lee I have read in several places that the SW sector represents the female. If the female resides in a place where the toilet/kitchen/storeroom is in the SW sector, it is supposedly extremely detrimental. 1)does this mean that she should eliminate such a unit when house hunting? 2)does this common belief have any basis at all? 3)are there workable remedies to address it? Would appreciate your views. Thank you.

Yeah, forgot, Honeywell site also recommends the use of specific plants to help clean the air in the home:- http://content.honeywell.com/yourhome/eiac-air_cleaners/plants.htm Perhaps, for those who cannot (for now) afford the air cleaner can look at the recommended type of plants that can help to clean the house's air. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil, I read that when building a house, one way to get rid of bad chi from toilets is to paint the tip of drains of the toilets red before the toilets are installed. Is is a good idea?

Hi What if I have already fixed the other flaws? As indicated, a hulu can be used to trap the wealth if the toilets are located at NE of house. What kind of hulu (i.e. made of what material) and where to place the hulu so as to fix this flaw?
