Hi, tan jhj wrote: this ziwei master kept a copy of my ziwei analysis, saying it is for his database when i ask the ziwei chart from him. In general, this is entirely up to the consultant whether or not they do want to keep a copy or not. It really depends a lot on what kind of services they offer. For example, any face-to-face analysis, usually is done on the spot. So any information analysed should be given to the client. No real need to keep a copy. Even if they do keep a copy (usually to make it easy for their clients to ask further advise or request for it again if they lost it), they should remove/destroy the data should you do not want them to keep it. For exam…

Dear Sean, Sean Lee wrote: Robert Lee wrote: To analyse the kua number without converting to the chinese calendar would be wrong. This means that say if you are born on 1 Jan 1966, your lunar is actually 10 day 12 month 1965. So your kua number must be based on 1965 and not 1966. Thanks for your kind advice. Regarding the Kua number, it seems similar to the Western numerology. E.g. 1966 = 1+9+6+6. Shouldn't we be calculating based on some Chinese year figure? Didn't I say that you must use the Lunar year in my above quote? This means you should be using 1965(the lunarbirth year)if based on my example and not the western year 1966 (rather than the western birth year…

Dear Rahman, 1. Try not to mix the two theories: Eight House vs Flying Star Chart 2. Eight House chart is used for: a. Checking how suitable one is to the home b. Sleeping and working facing a good direction c. Nice-to-have spending time at a good sector. (Nice-to-have and not MUST-have since we already purchased such a home and layout /compass direction are fixed. It is always good to have a home suitable to the person. For example, you mentioned that North is a suitable home. For positioning of bed-head; study/work directions - try to see if one can face a good direction. Other than this, what you had mentioned perhaps about Flying star numbers SW 5; these are abou…

Dear Hoa, In my opinion, what you had described; on it's own may not be considered as a change of the house period. Imagine this: it is akin to a person, changing his/her skin and yet the mouth e.g. (main entrance doors) remains untouched. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Hoa Luong wrote: Not just the glass, but all the frames were replaced also. Basically, I got all new windows including frames and glass (all 14 of them). Does this change the house period?

Dear Ann, Ann Loo wrote: Thanks so much for clarification. Incidentally, my master bedroom is on one level directly above the living room and the study is at 2nd level above this. (Its a 2.5 storey house). This will make both the master bedroom andstudy to have the 8-1-8 combination as well. Should I activate the mountain stars for both sectors and how can the mountain star be activated? Will putting paintings of mountain help? Thanks again Yes, in this case the painting of the moutain will help activate the mountain star in the bedroom. And, yes, you can also activate the water star in the living room. But you cannot activate both in the same room/level. Hope that h…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Replying to your question. My bed faces East which falls under Death direction. I am strong Yang Metal (birth element) 7, so this is bad. Please advise what colours to use as I am unable to move my bed. I have attached below your previous response. Dear Michael, Michael Chan wrote: I'm very confused and concerned as u can see different periods will affect the way I live and place remedies for the flat. Is there any text or source u can help refer me to for more understanding. I thank you again for your advice. Let me ask you a simple question, are you planning to do a major renovation to your new house or not? If you are, then you do not have to worry to much about what period the house was built in. As you can force the Qi to fly over to the period 8. In fact, this is often the most recommended for older house, simply because the period 6/7 house qi will be fading away anyway. So you won't benefit from it as much…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Under what circumstances can an element in the chart (Water in this demo case), when combined with another element, lose its own elemental status and change to another element (Earth in this demo case)? This one you will need to read up on detailed ba zi analysis. There are couple of combinations and clashes and under what situations they will combine permanently and when they combine just for that moment when they meet. This is often beyond a basic ba zi reading. So you have to do your own research on this, as I don't have time to list out all the different combination rules and situationsavailable. All the rules are already programmed into t…

However, if the plants you place around it break the shape of the bamboo so that it is no longer a lone lone sharp thin bamboo, then it should be ok. For example, if you placed many many plants together as a group, then even if there is a bamboo, it looks…

Dear Shaunna, Shaunna Repa wrote: So, are you saying aHOUSE doesn't have a Gua # only the PERSON? I'm still somewhat confused. The information I read kept talking about the house's Gua # based on its sitting position but gave no further info on how to figure it out. Sorry, don't mean to be a pest. Thanks, Shaunna Generally, when it comes to the house, the best analysis is the Flying Star (Xuan Kong Feng Shui) chart. Determine your main door facing positions, and then you will be able to chart out a numerology chart that is based on the 9 numbers. Given it uses the 24 mountains, directions, it allows you to chart out many unique variations of luck for a house depending o…

Dear Anon, Frankly, if you DIY one should preferably look at what are the combination of stars in each of the sectors even if the sector has #5:- For example, logically before jumping into conclusions, we need to really find out what is the current 20 Year Flying Star in a specific sector:- E.g. If South sector has #1 with #6 and base #8 . And if #5 fly's in no issue, here. For one, there is #6 = big metal etc... Sensibly just monitor the situation, first. I believe, this forum already has mentioned several types of cures relating to star #5. In terms of colours, try to avoid: BRIGHT YELLOW and if the room has a combination of #5 (earth = bad yellow) fuelled by #9 (f…

I will only clarify a few points. As this is not what the purpose of the forum is about. 1. For a Strong wood person, the existing green logo on it's own is considered not suitable for a Strong Wood person. 2. However, a squarish logo represents Earth element. And under the Productive Cycle of the Five Elements concept: Earth supports or help Metal (in particular weak metal grow) 3. In addition, for a Strong Wood person, I don't see what's wrong with using a squarish logo. As Square logo represents Earth. And imagine a strong tree with strong roots; which digs into the earth to get nurishment. 4. Orange under Chinese culture belongs to the metal element. As the phonet…

Dear Angelia, 1. Frankly, instinctively, we should look at the bedroom layout and always sleep in a "comfortable" natural position. 2. Either sleeping under one of our four best directions AND/or sleeping in a favourable Flying Star sector(s) are both considered NICE-TO-HAVE and not a must have. However, if we do encounter very bad flying star numbers like #5 and or #2 and or with #9, then, these are the worst stars and if so, we should or if could avoid sleeping within these sectors. For other flying star combinations, they are usually of a lower concern. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Sorry, can you clarify your message. For example, do you mean that your main door has say two panels. Some homes have 1 big door panel with a smaller side panel = 1 door and side panel. This panel is normally not opened all the time. If you have two equal doors, usually one door is not opened. If you have 1 big door panel with a smaller side panel, so long as the lamp post hits this smaller panel, (i.e. this smaller panel faces the lamp post directly) and your main door is "saved" from attack from the lamp post, then, this is fine or OK. As mentioned earlier, I had already listed most of the other common "cures" for the main door.

1. Under the area of "symbolism" in Chinese culture;in general there are twopictorial representations with horse(s):- 1.1. In the past, pictures were drawn of an "official" mounting a horse saddled with "treasure". This pictureis said to represent the hope that the person displaying this picture/painting can achieve a high post or position. 1.2 Nowadays, new pictures or paintings referring to the above are "rare". 2. Some Feng Shui practitioners recommend to their clients to place a statue of a galloping horse (there are several replicas of beautiful ancient galloping horses). This figurine is placed facing the main door. The Feng Shui practitioner would say that if on…

1. Frankly, the two most commonly cited cases of concern with illicit affairs are: 1.1 Having a water position to the right side of thedoor. 1.2 Having two stoves in a home 2. As the mirror, will still reflect TWO persons' logically, there is no "lamp-post" or a third party reflected in the mirror. Thus the concern is more of having a photo behind the bed with 3 persons on it. Otherwise, what you had mentioned is not commonly mentioned that reflects "affairs". More likely, the concern is of having bad dreams or nightmares! Anonymous wrote: Hi Master, Thanks for your reply.
