Daniel.....I am shocked thatyou paid so much to a "wanna be" practitioner. Mind you, you were not to know. A client of of mine consulted a FS consultant over here earlier this year. She gave my client an account once the work was completed. The terms said "Payment within 7 days, otherwise unforseen problems may arise". I was absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately, there is no governing body over here who can discipline such a person. Now Daniel, if you wish, and if you are patient, I can help you (no charge) if you mail me privately. I am currently assisting a Forum member from Melbourne design his house...it is much fun and hopefully, the house when built will be an auspici…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Our house is located behind a church and graveyard, not directly about 30 m away, the church does not have a tall spire but a top like a castle. I wonder if I should put something on my front door to ward off any unhappy vibes from those who have passed away. Generally, the only thing about the Church is not to have the house face the Church Cross. As it is like a Sha Qi to the house. The other thing is sometimes Church bell may be a little nosy. But other than that, it is usually not a major concern. If the house cross faces the house, then you might have to put some mirror to reflect it away. The graveyard might be more probablematic as it …

Please read my original reply. Since you are so concern about the glass piece; and as I had mentioned earlier, it just takes one or two friends or relatives to "spoill" the *YOUR* mood. In Feng Shui, it is still acceptable, since when you close the toilet door, it will still be air-tight. Please re-read my past message. Human beings are always like this: if someone gives you an inauspicious comment, followed by some other people, would you feel uncomfortable! Thus has more to do with human factors - feel good or feel bad...

What happens if Block 15 is replaced by a flat area like a pool? It could be a bigger problem if the space where Block 15 was is now just flat land, and the blocks form a U shape with the open side facing west. If this happens, all three pools will be exposed to sunlight all day, which means water in the pools will evaporate faster.

Sir, I could't contact you immdly as I was on tour.I have been asked by one our forum member regarding the square table formula and as of my knowledge same is given to your kind persusal and would like to know your comments and advices if any. Normaly if any of the corner is missing the opposite corner is to be noticed.e.g. If north east corner is missing,we may have to check the south west corner also.If that is also missed, then there is no need to worry about that,as such missing corners structuraly balaced and this is applicable to all sort of missing corners. If the missing corner is only at the particular orientation of the site.as the case refered for NORTH EAST,…

thank youvery much for your reply. As to your question why i opt for turtle instead of fish, well, actually, previously i put gold fishes in it, more than 15. cats from our neighbors always come to our place. they can enter anytime since the front fence is an open steel fence. whithout us knowing it sometimes its been eaten. One time, we saw a bull frog. so the ending, all the fishes were gone. Also, water here in our place has a lot of chlorine. iguess its about time i buy a book on how to take care of fishes in the pond. Sad to say, i am a beginner on this. Anyway, speaking of fish,in case i put back fish on my pond, how many fish do i have to put and what kind of …

1) May I know must stove, frigde and sink form 3 triangle angle like the one in the attachment? Is this the best combination in kitchen fengshu? - Please refer to my earlier reply. "Cow-sense" can explain this. 2) Can Conventional Oven/Microwave oven places besides a fridge? - No issue. Since as explained in the earlier thread, many geomancers consider a boxed up fridge as = metal element. Only some consider it water element. - For those who feel that it is a water element; perhaps; search for such fellows and you might want to post a question to that fella. 3) Can Conventional Oven/Microwave oven faced kitchen toilet or window? - For facing toilet:- This is…

On the topic of Feng Shui Books, I have another link with the graphic on the book covers of some of the books I mentioned earlier to the reply on basic Feng Shui books. Click here to view the book covers:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/books.htm For those who are interested in finding out if Feng Shui is for real or hocus pocus, you may like to read this book:- Amazing Scientific Basis of Feng Shui by Dr. Ong Hean Tatt Phd. This book although does not have richly illustrated graphics on Feng Shui but has many research work on topics that really show that Feng Shui is for REAL! The book cover can also be seen under the above link (bottom right hand side of the page). Warning…

I had gone through the site. The topic all under discussion are very interesting. If we had a problem in house regarding the water, need assistance with Paranormal activity .This is believed to be the easiest form for a ghost to ;manifest. Water puddles or drips coming from unexplainable sources , sometimes clear, sometimes feel in danger, We should need the warning and get assistance immediately with the problem. In summer, these manifests itself int he absorption of warm air into ducts ,We have to use some of the Duct insulation to use in our Crawl space for heat &AC in our house or other place. plumbing contractors residential plumbers

Dear Fengshui expert, I'm considering buying a HDB flat on the 2nd floor and it's facing the cross junction. I've attached a picture of the block. May I know is it full of sha qi? Any remedy? The unit is not very near to the road as there's a small garden in front and the garden is circle, when look upon my 2nd floor, it looks like a sunken well to me. Do you think it's an inauspicious house? Pls kindly advise. cheers, keryee

Many of the good units in The infiniti (if u are referring to this development). Many units face NE or SW. But the worst ones #9, #17 etc... face a noisy highway!

Dear Deepti, 1. In general, this can be considered "inauspicious" based on common sense approach to Feng Shui. 2. The idea, here is because, any home that is lower than it's surroundings e.g. such as roads, may in some instances of heavy rain mean flooding for such "lower" homes. Hopefully there are not only proper drainage but also also, especially for some homes that relies on drainage to rivers (to the mouth of the sea). In many instances, such homes are affected by high tides. 3. Other than this, since no two homes are similar, each home has to be looked at in it's own merits or (Feng Shui merits). Such as where is the facing d…

These are some considerations: 1. Thanks for your detailed sketch! 2. Under a major concept in symbolism; all bedroom doors must open inwards: to symbolise "qi flow" into the room. 3. This is why often, all main entrance doors must open inwards. 3.1 I do clearly remember that a few years ago, a Vietnam developer had forwarded layout plan(s) for a large estate with all main entrance door opening outwards. 3.2 Here, this is considered not auspicious. 4. Ideally, for a home, it is best also that the backdoor should also open inwards. But if there is no back door (just a grille gate then no issue if the grille gate opens outwards). 5. Not to worry, for convenience and pract…

Frankly if you are into pure DIY; you really have to make an uphill task to learn more. The major topics that I had mentioned in one of the illustrations : "A practical approach to Feng Shui today" has clues on the types of Schools and Headings. As Rome is not built in a day; so is DIY. For those who are for eg. too impatient to DIY; may consider other routes e.g. get expert help etc...... this is pure common sense. For example; this is similar to other disciplines. If you have a modern car. Would you go to the trouble to doing your own servicing? If yes, then you may have to read up to gain knowledge before you can do your own servicing. OR? Bring it to a workshop which…

Dear Anon, 1. I believe, you are still young so try abit harder:) 2. It is best to watch your weight. There is not much in Feng Shui that relates to weight. 3. However, a sensible diet would usually help: 3.1 The Chinese often use the chopsticks to pick food. So that they are forced to eat slowly. You can still do so with the fork and spoon. 3.2 I am not sure if it will help but one should take breakfast, eat a healthy lunch and dinner. Avoid supper food. Here, it is believed that we burn more calories in the day time (activity) and at lower activity time, eat less. I believe that breakfast is the most important`meal' that should not be skipped. 4. For a mountain star, i…

These days, many new condos are built like a “fort.” In these developments, the buildings are placed in a way that surrounds or traps the water feature in the middle. This setup does not let enough air move through the water areas and out of the site. There are some gaps, but it is still hard for evaporated “dirty” water to escape. If your unit is on a lower floor, like the ground or second level, and nearby neighbors keep their windows closed, a lot of this dirty pool air can enter your home. I like the site plan of Ripple Bay because the buildings are arranged in three wide rows that are far apart. This helps fresh air flow easily through the estate. In contrast, t…

Majority of homes at Cul-De-Sac; don't have such a configuration as mentioned, below; or else; based on the book of Yang Zhia Shi Shu; how one places one's home in relation to other homes can affect health or even leading to death... Enclosed please find a picture of a house where death would occur twice. This is based on the book Yang Zhai Shi Shu http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=2701&new= Therefore, many people prefer to play safe and buy homes that are in uniform rows that don't meander or be in a cul-de-sac. Just imagine, in some cul-de-sac homes, there can be similar layout as shown in the above URL! This is an actual case…
