These are some considerations: 1. Some geomancers strictly define the main entrance as "standing inside the main door looking outwards". 2. If so, then this answers yourquestion. 3. Why we need to take a compass reading? 4. Taking a compass reading is not merely to do it for the sake that it has to be done! 5. The true reason is to find where the most "Yang Qi" be it: especially wind enter the home most of the time and a plus if there is yang qi (brightness). 6. Why? 7. As the clue is based on Para 3, above: compass. The main purpose is to use this to try and figure out where is the most yang qi ; thus where is the FACING direction of a home. In doing so, we can then acc…

These are some considerations: 1. Just imagine a duck: we often see a duck gliding gracefully in a pond. 2. But, many of us never realise that the duck has to paddle (furiously) to look graceful. 3. Furthermore, this is a Free General Advice Forum. 4. Attached is a sample of the amount of work e.g. take many hours to come up with an analysis taking into consideration many factors. 5. Hope you understand, it is so easy to post a few lines of text and a layout plan. And PRESTO! everything is done for you FOC.

Thanks for the sketch. 1. In my opinion, the house you mentioned does not seem to belong to that group called house at a "T-junction". Thus this is a plus point. 2. Like any other homes; due diligence is required. 3. From a Feng Shui point of view; there are lots more consideration: 3.1. As you had mentioned; any water flow that can be seen from the home leading out towards the exterior especially if they are not covered; 3.2. How the rainfall drains out of the home. 3.3. External threats if any from sharp pointed roofs of neighbouring homes and other threats such as lamp posts etc.. etc.. 3.4. The gradiency and many other factors include the interior layout of the home.…

About: The stove is considered at the center of the house where the combination 4-8-3 is found. Even though it is not so good to have the stove at the center, is it this beneficial to "burn" star 3 in a water position star?

Good Luck in your new venture! Just to clarify number "4" is subjective. As mentioned earlier; this number does not appeal especially to the Cantonese dialect group of the Chinese. In China, today especially in Beijing and/or Shanghai; where there are few Cantonese and for the communist period till now; they don't seem to have any adverse thinking towards the number "4". This is why; I call the number "4" pretty subjective number. However, in the Far East; where supersititions strive and there is a large pool of Cantonese speaking Chinese; even in your country, Singapore, Malaysia; number "4" ain't so good a number. Hope you know what I mean...

1. Yes, one may /could skip the First Time Open Door procedure and just do the move in ritual. 2. For this year; Take note the following sectors:- Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. In addition, Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is also at East - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is West. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 3. This year, it is not wise ESPECIALLYeven if one wants to dosimple renovations particularly at EAST. Given that both Grand Duke (Tai Sui) and Five Yellow (Misfortuen/Sickness) star is at that location. http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-…

Thanks for the photos. These are some considerations: 1. Since the offending post is "smack" against the main entrance door; thus the best "solution" is to consider a potted plant with lots of leaves (not another barren tree trunk type of plant) against this post. Ideally the potted plant is plus or minus = around 3/4 height of the entire entrance door. 2. The weak alternative is hanging a 6 hollow rod wind chime. 3. The rest of the concern like railings.. no choice. Thus, in my opinion, therefore, if you are allowed to place a potted plant; then this can be the best solution.

http://www.ens-newswire.com/PERSONAL_PICTURES/hThank you so much for your service. I have learned so much from the free forums that I am planning to sign up for the entire course. I am renting a condominium that is troublesome to me. I have suffered both health and financial problems since I moved in here. The door is facing directly north and there are several vertical posts as well as a steel handrail in front of the door. I have posted pictures both from inside and outside. Is there any way I can offset this negative influence or should I move to a new home?

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Priority should be given to the Water and Mountain stars. 2. If I read you correctly; when you mention "sitting" star; I believe you are refering to the base star or some call it the palace star. 3. Well, it is preferred to look more closely at the both the Water and Mountain stars vs just only the "sitting" star(s).

Further to what I had mentioned; if from a window of one's unit /apartment; can see another building near-by that resembles some kind of a "peeping tom"; than this may be considered inauspicious to one's unit.

Please see my previous posting. Go seek Professional advice. As there is a limit to posting such a question. CLUE: all the available facts must be known: not imagined nor plucked from the air. These are some considerations:- 1. It is always best that you engage a professional to do the on-site assessment. 2. Like you mention, there is also a difference between water moving from left to right or right to left of the exact home or development; also taking into consideration things like the external drains (if any) and the external landscaping. 3. Another consideration is the plot vs neighbour's plot and any other visible water positions within the site and estate / gr…

In general, based on your broad statement; so far, a creek att the "back" can be a concern; depending how the house is built. I have not looked at your other statements; just this one.

As mentioned in many of my past forum messages; if one seems to want to give up hope; then consider the concept of "The Holy Trinity of Luck". If not sure what it is, go check out past forum message postings...

In my opinion, it sounds better than a house directly facing a temple. However, if the temple is on a North-East and South-West alignment and vice-versa; and your apartment orhome is aligned in this North-East to South-West; then one has to be extra careful of the concept of: "Devil's gate". Besides this, location, location and location is equally important.

Bear in my that when we approach such questions Often many of the situations, it may or might be based on "commonsense". For example, a reason why the stove should not be facing say a kitchen door entrance is e.g. when one is cooking, one's back is against the kitchen entrance, since all of us dn't have eyes behind our head, it was felt that one may be caaught unawares, in this instance. The other reason is under "symbolism". Here, it is best to avoid having a stove face a bedroom door. If the stove faces a kitchen door but does not face a bedroom door, this is considered the lesser of the two evils as compared to a stove below a beam, unless this beam is "covered" …

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Since both persons are East group persons than technically; if you do have a stove; the stove can be sitting e.g. NW facing South East. Same goes for the oven. 2. Reference: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Kitchen_Stove_%26_More 3. You should also do a Search on the TOP left frame of this forum for "Fire at Heaven's Gate" to find out more about a kitchen located in the North West of the home.

1. In the past; "posting" a career into one of five elements seems pretty straightforward. 2. Today, the closest concepts are based on Management principles and techniques to analyse careers. 3. Thus, the most logical way to dissect or analyse careers is based on a subject or elective known as "Strategic Planning". 4. Under, Management and sub-subject: Strategic Planning; all jobs can be broken down into:- 4.1. The Industry 4.2. Your core job function 5. Even trying to analyse which industry a specific field is in; is also to see what is it's core objective. 5.1. I may be wrong, but in my opinion, biomedical sciences should be considered as trying to find innovative meth…
