CO'S SIGNBOARD AND COLOR
Dear Lawrence, Lawrence Chong wrote: I plan to instal the signboard on the main office door. The standard dimension adv by signage maker is 6" x 24" using belverde transparent plastic. Ideally, the better dimension is7"/8"/9" x 24". 6" isn't auspicious under the feng shui ruler. Currently, I uses Yellow background with Green Lettering and the Logo in Green. I am prepare to change base on your professional adv. Yes, colour would be Metal (White/Gold) and Blue (Blue/Black/Gray). You can also use shapes ie Metal (Round), Water (Wavy shapes). Metal/Water makes weak Water Stronger. Yellow (Earth) with Green (wood), won't be as good because Earth destroy Water, and Wood exhaust your weak water. Lawrence Chong wrote: I supply semiconductors, equipment and testing instruments. Business is tough as margin is very small. I wonder what other business I can venture in base on my DOB 19/3/54. Is Metal products a suitable trade for me?. Best on your current business, this belongs to Wood element. Not so favourable for you as a weak water because it exhaust your water. Location or door facing
Dear Bao Bao, Bao bao wrote: master bedroom located in the West of the house (base on centerpoint) . But bed is heading at South. Please confirm your direction on your layout plan. I just noticed that your original layout plan. East and West is reversed? Then in your bedroom layout, I noticed it was flipped. Location or door facing
Dear Bao Bao, Bao bao wrote: As per floor plan from the centerpoint, my master bedroom is located in West which is death of disaster sector. But if i placed my bed at the favaourable part of the room does it help, and the main entrance to my bedroom is facing East, it isn't it good? Yes, whenever the sector of the room falls under your less favourable direction, then the only option for you is to at least choose a better facing direction to help offset inauspicious influence. Bao bao wrote: By the way, this is HDB flat and it is on 5th floor Since your flat is on the 5th floor, and your home is such that your main door is uniquely placed. If you are considered the breadwinner for the entire housewhole, then you should choose the main door which faces the better direction. That way, even if the bedroom isn't your best direction or sector, you will still get luck from the home facing. Since East facing is better for you, then use the East facing as your house main entrance. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Please help!! I'm confused....
Dear Rachel, Rachel Rachel wrote: In addition to my first point, I'd also like to add that the binding elements between me and my husband is Earth and Wood, so does that mean that I also have to try and incorporate some Earth into the room as well, to satisfy the advice given by the Flying Star Paid Report, and also to satisfy the favourable elements of each of us, and the binding elements for all of us? Please advice! Thanks! Yes, first balance the flying star. Then, you can add a little of additional colours from like bedsheet etc. If only one person is staying in the room, then choose colours he/she lacks. If more than one person is staying in the same room, then choose colours that will help both persons at the same time. In this, case the binding element. Remember, that flying star takes precedence of the analysis. Thus, when applying colours like Earth (Yellow), then you need to be extra caution that there isn't too much Earth influence (ie star 2/5) that may be adversely activated. Always, choose light off-white colours if any. Never choose bright colours such as pure Yellow, pure Red. If any you should choose like very light beige, or light pink etc. Hope that helps. Please help!! I'm confused....
Dear Rachel, Rachel Rachel wrote: Ihave not seen you mention anything on your forum about matching people to their respective bedrooms based on such a technique. I must admit, life seems "easier" when one doesn't have to take into account such a technique, because if I follow that advice, it will turn out that the master bedroom is not at allbeneficial formy husband or my daughter, and I might have to sleep alone in the master bedroom while my husband and daughter sleep in the small second bedroom! However, I have read somewhereon your forum that you advise owners of the house to sleep in the master bedroom even if the room may not be that favourable compared to the smaller bedroom. Besides, I think its a crazy idea to sleep apart from my husband and daughter. You must remember, Gua/Kua analysis is only based on YEAR of birth. Thus, it's eight house concept is very limited in accuracy. However, even though it is a simple concept, it still has its uses. ie to determine suitability. For attempting to suit the sector to the person, we won't use the Gua/Kua element, but rather the Ba Zi element and direction which is significantly more accurate and can allow for deeper analysis. Thus, we always recommend that the best house or sector direction is one which not just suits the eight house but should also be favourable to your ba zi element. In our ba zi expert review, we have what we call a combine eight house and ba zi direction which makes it the best direction for the person to use as facing or bedroom. But again, the deeper or more comprehensive you want to apply feng shui, the harder it will be for you to get a solution that will work for all. So we need to know which is more important and what to follow first and last. In case of a bedroom:- 1. Flying Star must be balanced first irregardless of the suitability to individual. 2. The bedroom should fall within at least one of the sector of the eight house direction. 3. If possible also, the eight house and ba zi direction should be both suitable. 4. Next is to balance up the sector to improve suitability of the people staying in the sector. 5. Bed placement should follow the shapes and form principles first. 6. If and only when you have the choice of two good shapes and form placement, then you use the eight house direction to see which direction you will benefit more. If you go by the above, you will find it easier to apply without the various complications of having to get the best of everything. Frankly, it is not possible to get everything perfect. But as long as you meet the key requirements. Rachel Rachel wrote: So we have decided to sleep in the master bedroom. All 3 of us - my daughter in particular is very young and cries if she has to sleep on her own. I hope this is therightdecision! As mentioned, you have to balance up the entire situation. I presume your husband is the breadwinner, right? So he will enjoy luck from the house facing if it is suitable to him. So it does not matter as much if the bedroom does not suit him as well. While for the other family member, you get luck from the bedroom which you stay. In this case, based on the above. If the breadwinner (your husband) get a good facing, you should be given a better bedroom so as to get luck for yourself. For your daughter, since she is still small, her luck is mostly influenced by the parents. Thus, if you are suitable for the bedroom, that means she will also enjoy luck from you since you look after her. One thing I have to say, is that you should not worry about every single issue in feng shui. That is not what feng shui is about. Feng Shui is supposed to create an environment that you feel comfortable to leave in. If you worry too much or attempt to go too deep in the analysis (without knowing what to apply first), you will only complicate and confuse yourself. Fixing the Major leaks is most important, other minor issues even if not corrected will not adversely influence your luck. Thus, you should not be worrying to fix every single issues you see. But work on which is more important or results in major leaks. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Please help!! I'm confused....
Dear Rachel, Rachel Rachel wrote: 1) For the master bedroom, the stars Mountain2 Facing9 and Earth1 occupy the area. Its Five Element Analysis says to utilise Metal (white/gold) to exhaust/weaken Earth. This is fine for me as I'm a weak Metal, but my husband is a weak Wood and my daughter is a strong Metal, so both of them are advised to avoid Metal elements. Howcan westrike a balance between all our lucky colours and the element advised by the Flying Stars report to neutralise the malevolent 2 Earth star??? Do we put in a mix ofMetal and Water/Wood(my husband and daughter's favourable elements)in the same bedroom? And in terms of quantity,is there acertain proportionof each element to utilise? For example, do we place more of Metal element in the room because it can notonly neutralise the 2 Earth star but also is my favourable element, and place smalleramounts of Water and Wood element in the room because those elements arefavourable elements of my husband and daughter??Please advice! No you cannot really strike a balance. You need to go by priorizing what is more important first. In this case, flying star impact will be the more important issues to fix. Flying Star impacts everyone staying in the sector. As such, you should first apply the cure for the flying star first. Painting the room to the colour that can balance up the stars. In case of Metal (white) colour, this is often what we call the most neutral colour that will not really mean that a person of weak wood will have too much Metal. Then you can worry about the adding some additional colours that help to personalise to the individual ba zi. Once the room is White, then you can say choose the colour of the bed sheet in like maybe Water element. This will blend nicely with Metal and helps to make your husband's weak wood stronger. So again, the key issue is first balance the stars, then work on choosing other elements or colours for other part of the room to be personalised to the individual. You need to get rid of the inbalances before you can enhance your individual favourable elements. Quote: 2) Ourfront door faces SE and the stars are Mountain7 Facing5 Earth6.The report advised us to use Water at the front door area to exhaust/weaken Metal. My husband has alreadyplaced his fish tank near the front door. I hope that is enough Water to exhaust Metal, as per the report's advise. Yes, that should be enough based on the five element concept. Furthermore. With water you create a Five Element flow Earth (5)- Rachel Rachel wrote: 4) As the backdoor that leads to the garage is in the palace occupied by auspicious stars : Mountain1 Facing8 and Earth9, and the fact that we often utilise the backdoor to go in and out of the house (because it provides easy access to the car in the garage), should we regard that palace as the facing palace? Thus maybe I have made a mistake in generating a flying star report based on the facing palace of the main door, which is in theopposite direction?? For landed property, still the facing direction of the building will be the main facing direction for the house. Of course, if the direction of the backdoor is better, you should utilise it to enter in and out of the house. But for flying star purpose, the facing of the house will be based on your home facing for landed property. Hope that helps. CO'S SIGNBOARD AND COLOR

Otherwise, it can be harder to list out the all the better range. The Feng Shui ruler has several ranges which are good and bad. It is easier to tell us the rough space available (as the signboard space can vary from place to place), then we can advise on which ranges you should limit the signboard to. As for the colours to incorporate. 1. If you are the only key person running the company, then you should use colours which you lack from your ba zi. ie if you are weak water, then Metal and water would be more ideal colours if any. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm 2. Also you should look at the industry it in, then see if we can choose an element that can destroy that industry so as to create wealth. These are usually the two principles that are ued in determining the logo. URL: http://talk.geomancy.net 3. If there are more than one key person, then you need to attempt to determine the common binding element between the two person. ie the element favouring both persons. You can base the colour choices based on the above especially the first option. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

toilet above main entrance
Dear Janet, Anonymous wrote: In my home the toilet is above the main entrance, I have been told that this symbolises wealth running out of the home, is they any way i can cure this? thank you from janet Yes, toilet above or beside your main door is considered a major feng shui leak for a home. There is very little you can do about it unfortunately. However, under the traditional feng shui, it is said that having a Chinese Hulu (bottle gourd) can help to attempt to trap wealth before it leaks out of the home. Also keeping the toilet seat cover close will minimise the wealth leak. These two can only help to reduce the wealth leak. There is unfortunately not much else you can do to remove this leak. Feng Shui In the southern hemisphere

Help Selling House
Dear Vikki Dufall, Vikki Dufall wrote: Is there anyway that we could counteract this so that someone will finally buy our house? I am sorry, but Feng Shui is not a miracle cure all for every problem. In this case, there isn't anything you can do that will make a house sell. Whether people buy a place all depends on the location of the home. So there is nothing you can do to just make it sell overnight. You should depend on your real estate agent to help you sell it, pricing it right, list out the benefits of the homeetc. In terms of what you can do to boost up the luck for a potential sell are:- 1. Improve you own luck. ie if you are a weak water person for example, then you can boost your luck by having more of your favourale element by wearing colours that favour you etc. 2. If the flying star sector of your home at the Northern House corner, contains the auspicious Water star , then you can activate your auspicious water star with the water feature. You need to determine what is your current flying star ie period 7 or period 8. Period 7, then activating water star 7 or 8 will be favourable for you. If your home is period 8, then activating star 8 or 9 will be favourable for you. These are location where is is good to put water feature. The colour coded analysis in the detailed analysis shows the good, bad or average. However, the colour coded sectors in the flying star chart is actually the colour of the element for that sector. ie NW/W = Metal (White), N = Water (Blue), SW/C/NE = Earth (Yellow), E/SE = Wood (Green). Death direction for my daughter - does it matter??

Bedroom 2 on the other hand, has windows facing the exact opposite of SE2 (NW2) but the entrance to the room is facing NE. The facing direction of the door of the bedroom does not tell me such about which direction is that bedroom. It seems that bedroom 1 is located at the entrance of the house, and since it is the SE direction, so the bedroom should be the South-East if I am not wrong. Basically, how you determine which room is in which sector. Simply stand at the middle/center of your house with a compass. Face the North direction. Once you get your north direction. If the bedroom 1 is located at the South, then the bedroom is in the South sector. Where you cannot stand at the center of the house. Take a layout plan and get the North, then divide the various sector from the centerpoint. For your daugher, what is important is she is located in a sector that is favourable to her (ie. North-West/West/South-West/North-East sector of the house.) The facing of the bedroom door or window is not important. What is important is whether the bedroom is located at the South sector of the house or North-Sector of the house. Hope that helps. What is your advice and experience on this? HPS Frankly, the reason why both post you had mentioned may not work simply because there is no such feng shui item or product that you can simply place that will generate wealth for you. Feng Shui isn't about placing an item here and there and next day you be rich. If you have such a notion, then no matter what you put will also not work. Feng Shui is simply to create an environment that you feel comfortable to leave in. When you feel good, then you will be able to focus better in your work/career. Thus, creating wealth. Most of a time, what way to go about so call improving your feng shui, is first to identify any major leaks in the home. Fix up all the leaks first. Then, enhance yourself by ensuring that you have as much favourable element/colour/career etc. Enhancing or maximising all wealth areas in your home etc. When all these are in your favour, then you will find that whatever you do, things will go well for you and thus slow and steadily you be able to create wealth. I can only give you some guide here on what are the key leaks:- URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Feng Shui is thus only that, the rest will still depend on your own hardwork. Garden / Landscaping at rooftop
Dear Anon, Quote: I wish totransform this area to a garden with proper lanscaping, will this affect my house's feng shui negatively? Most houses typically have a solid tile roof. Thus, there isn't much true resources in the past about such a concept since there isn't such a situation in the past. So this is a more of a modern time situation. However, my view of rooftop garden is actually good. Especially, because plants tend to act as shade for the roof. Thus, cools down the house. So garden for rooftop is fine. However, water feature on top of the roof will need to be avoided, as you do not want to have water over your head. This is like drowning your wealth. What you just need to be concerned is the load of the plants and worry about any water leaks from the roof or any other possible issues that might arise from a garden located at the rooftop. Quote: I was told that both green & blue colours are not advisable for roof, do these mean that plants and water features are not good feng shui for rooftop area? Natural greenery are ok. Blue especially water isn't advisable in terms of feng shui. In fact, it is a trend now-a-days to have garden on roof as it has been proven to cool down the house. Quote: If garden is alright for the rooftop, what kind of landscaping/ plants would your goodself recommend? I think as long as you create a nice landscaping that you enjoy, it shouldn't be a problem. Furthermore, different people have different likes and dislikes. So my advise is just decorate it in such a way it relaxes and make you feel good. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Help reading my BAZI Standard Report
Dear Linda, Quote: Thank you Mr Lee for your responses. I still dont quite understand how to balance our elements based on the report. For example, my reports says, that i have "12% water, 9% wood, 18% fire, 28% earth, 31% metal" and i am still considered a strong earth. Why is my favorable element metal if i already have 31%? isn't the goal to have about 20% of each element? Also, does that mean that if i am with a partner who is earth, it increases more earth, making my luck unfavorable? The balance of the five element is meant to allow you to know what elements you have at the time of birth. The ideal is to have 20% of each element. However, it is not possible for anyone to be able to know how much of each element you have at any point in time. This is simply because there are so many factors in your life that you cannot classify it properly in terms of elements. Thus, there is no way to know what is your actual five element percentage except from your ba zi. Thus, once you have that percentage it is possible to determine whether you are weak or a strong person. In your case, you are a Strong Earth. Simply because you have more favourable than unfavourable. Thus, under the Strong Earth, it means that generally you have too much Fire and Earth, and lack Metal, Water and Wood. So generally Fire and Earth are elements you want to avoid while Metal, Water and Wood are elements you want to have more of. The five element percentage should be used in this way. Metal (31%), Water (12%) and Wood (9%). Thus, it means that you should have more Wood, followed by Water and last by Metal. Same goes for the unfavourable element. Remember, that you need to have some of each element to attain perfect harmony. So a little of each will be good, however too much will not. Thus, the percentage allows you to be able to fine tune which elements you need more or less. Quote: Is it also favorable to be with friends who are favorable to you? like would weak wood or strong water be helpful to me? But should avoid strong fire, etc etc? Generally metal, water, wood person will be good for you. Since different element strength has different suitability to you. Thus, as a Strong Earth, weak Metal or Strong Wood would probably be good for you. weak Fire, or Strong Earthwould probably not be so good for you. Quote: Also, i was looking at the luck periods for me and my husband. If in a certain year or 10 year period i have "luck against you" but he has "luck with you", does it affect your luck (help or ruin)? Individually, each person has different luck period, sometimes luck is good sometimes it is bad. In feng shui, there is such thing as borrowing luck from others. In cases of husband and wife. Say if the wife does not have a very good luck, but because the husband has, you will sort of enjoy somewhat better luck due to riding on his good fortune. So most of the time, usually the person with lesser luck can benefit from the other with better luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Floor Number
Dear Thambyrajah, Thambyrajah Kugathasan wrote: Now I have an urgent and important question on Floor number used in House analysis for a Cono., where the floors are numbered serially from 1 , but #13 is not used for the 13 th floor. Instead #14 is used after the 12 th floor and continued thereafter serially. Thambyrajah Kugathasan wrote: Therefore #18-05 which I am interested actually refersto 17 th floor apartment and 5th unit. How I should use the number in the House number analysis? Is it 17-05 or 18-05? Please help me with this and I will really appreciate your helps. Thanks again. Frankly, the auspicious number analysis was to allow a person to determine which unit on different level is better assuming the layout is the same. It doesn't do much or have much impact on the home itself. The more important issue is the choice of the home, the layout of the home itself, whether the house fit the breadwinner or not. Apartment number isn't the most important factor. In your this case, I mean athough, for the analysis to work properly you probably have to use the actual level, but there very few apartments are numbered in such a way. So no way to tell for sure if this should be the way or simply just to use the actual numbering. Furthermore, based on your last post, your unit number is so different that the original analysis wasn't designed to handle such a unique case. Since sounding of the number is equally important when choosing the unit number (ie better for selling the apartment in the future). Thus, I would rather you not bother about the apartment number analysis. Focus more on the layout of the home and surrounding. This I feel is much more important. Hope that helps.
