When the Yellow cane palm is grown on the ground and not in pots, it can grow relatively tall. Usually around 8 to 12 feet high. This is one of most popular cane trees ground all over in Singapore: Be it in pots or garden landscaping of condominiums, government housing estates etc.. Easy to maintain (leaves don't fall of so frequently). Only thing is that as it is a cane, it does not only have one single tree trunk but clusters of stems that span out...

1. Feng Shui is natural and influenced by qi from the earth (magnetism). 2. However, if one of these two things come into being:- 2.1. For some, when you enter a home and suddenly feel a sudden cold (mostly in dim areas) e.g. closet or attic area. 2.2. When one carry a compass and the compass needle goes hay-wire; 3. When a home has been possed; you can count out Feng Shui as such influences will superseed the Feng Shui of a place. Thus, under such circumstances, it is best to call for help from another field: especially priests. 4. The idea here is that Feng Shui can be over-ridden by other "stronger" forces beyond the natural! 5. For us Geomancer, usually once the instrument used to detect such things .. go hay wire... it is time to throw them away.. else.. will be afflicted by health issues. This is so called the "health hazard" of a normal geomancer. 6. In old homes; some hauntings may occur, especially when some start to do renovation works at the place where there spirits "live". And when disturbed; they will certainly come out and give the family a piece of their mind. 7. To avoid such any hauntings in a home: you must never play with a Weegee board or ouija kind of a board. What is this board? It is some like a cardboard where alphabets are imprinted on it. And a group of people e.g. 3 persons, place their finger on small cup. And call a "spirit" to answer their question. Usually the spirit will reply by moving the cup towards an alphabet. 8. There are known cases where, some people have played with it in their homes and subsequently for fear, burnt the board. Never, never burnt the board as once it is burnt after performing such "rituals"; it seems that the gateway is never "closed" and this gateway can lead to hauntings and what nots... 9. So remember, don't ever think of playing with such things! You may invited the wrong ... thing into your home!

1. Generally, the entire plot of land and building is rectangular under Shapes and forms is acceptable. 2. There is a high concentration of Catholic (buildings); Generally such buildings are considered "clean" compared to some temples etc... 3. Currently, the best facing directions within this development is NE or SW facing. There are also NW or SE facing which is not as good. 4. Majority of all developments have good and not so good units. Thus, one can apply Flying Star to futher fine tune the interior of the unit.

For practical reasons, this is a last resort. So long as the stove is not on the opposite side of the wall, this is still ok. No issue with cabinets on the opposite side of the wall to store kitchen items. Anonymous wrote: Can the altar table share the same wall as the kitchen wall but without the stove at the same wall of course? If can, is it good fengshui toput cabinets at the same wall? Thank you very much.

Frankly, what is there to have "bad" Feng Shui if your neighbours are still staying at the top floor corner of a townhouse. It is unlike having a toilet above things like the dining table or living room i.e. we are talking about human beings. Anonymous wrote: I have an L-shaped townhouse meaning that I owned a ground floor and first floor townhouse which was converted to a double-storey house plus my neighbour's ground floor corner townhouse which I have bought. Is it okin terms of good fengshui when there are other neighbours still staying at the top floor corner townhouse?

1. This link has some information on Ferraria Park condo: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=43&mid=26473&new= 2. One of the major concerns of residents especially those that had purchased units at the opposite large connected blocks 8 to 14 is the high wall and also the potential road noise from cars coming into the estate towards your underground car park. 3. Generally, under current Flying star period 8, your stack 29 Block 18 is facing a wading pool. And If based on the most yang qi the facing direction of the block (stack) is a Period 8 South 1 facing direction. You may have to look or find out more of the characteristics of this type of home. (Your mostauspiciousqi direction comes from the main door doubleauspicious #8). 4. At the ground level, Ibeen toquite a few units in the development. And several ground floor units have currently young tree trunks slicing towards things like the master bedroom windows and even bedrooms / living room. For your unit (stack) just beware of tree trunks slicing- acting assha qi poison arrow slicing towards... any of the rooms.

Anonymous wrote: Question: I'm not sure if this incompleted bed frame is a cause for bad feng shui. If yes, instead of changing a new bed frame, are there other methods to improve it? e.g adding some fabric to conceal the grills and convert it into a canopy bed? 1. Double-decker beds: Frankly, in my opinion, there is a wrong misconception of a double decker bed. 1.1 Some say that the person sleeping below (1st level) is like a "sha" qi or a beam. 1.2 What is really a beam. If one looks carefully at a support beam it is usally a horizontal column quite narrow and protrude "downwards". 1.3 If one observes a bunk bed carefully, especially for the person below, it is one large relatively "flat surface" e.g. a full set of evenly distributed springs or older beds come with a flat plank. Doesn't this mimick or look like a flat piece of ceiling? 1.4 Bunk beds have been in use many years back. And even during 1940's many US warships install bunk beds three or even four levels high stacked together! These beds are meant for the enlisted soldiers - while officers are better off.... 1.5 Many who study in university domitories do sleep in bunk beds. 1.6 In land scarce Singapore and Hong Kong during the 1960's to 1970's many homes install bunk beds to maximise space in each bedroom as these bedrooms double-up as study areas especially for a two child family squeezed into a single bedroom. 1.7 Look at Hong Kong also, many people have slept on bunk beds and there are no ill effects such as "retarded" brain etc... 1.8 Today, every enlisted solider work and sleep in their camps and it is very common for 1 out of 2 to sleep on the lower bunk bed. 1.9 Generally, once you taken out the upper bunk bed; visually, the upper frame grillesbecomes an "eye sore" that's all. Some bunk beds can be dismantled by "unlocking" the top frame. Definitely it would look better. 2. Again, generally, the frame normally won't cause any bad Feng Shui; but rather, it affects another form of luck "Man or human luck" i.e. feel good or not so good with such an "ugly" sight. 3. Frankly, this bedroom is already clutered more like a service balcony with clothes and even short pants hanging on such a low ceiling. And adding clother to cover the double decker frame grilles... is not a good idea. Anonymous wrote: 3) There are ceiling hooks for bamboo poles (for clothes) above my head when i'm sleeping. (pls see picture 2 below). 3. If I am not mistaken, one side of the hooks & frame is directly above the bed. I strongly believe, if anything else should go; this two clothes hooks should go. Anonymous wrote: 2) I am sleeping facing a window, with a towel hanging on the foot of the bed grill, blocking my sight to the window. (pls see picture 1 below). 4. Sorry no offence, but, all these hanging of clothings and pants is not my cup of tea. Clean clothes should always be hung inside a cupboard. And used clothes should be kept or folded away. 5. Yes, the bedroom would certainly do with a fresh coat of paint. Or if the whole house looks "dull" or old; best to give the entire home a fresh coat of paint. Usually Flying Star Feng Shui and one's ba zi is looked at to determine what is the best colour for a bedroom. But if this is too much a hassle, then best to paint the bedroom white or light pastel colours like light cream. 6. One of the key success factors is still : clear space and cleanliness in a home cum bedroom. If you are drying your clothes.. best not to dry them in your bedroom hanging it .... around all over the bedroom / bed frame etc... Anonymous wrote: 4) Question: Is the positioning of my wall mirror causing any bad feng shui? 7.In general, it is better not to have the wall mirror facing the bedroom window.

Due to the effects of global warming... our sea-line will definitely rise within the next 20 years or more... This symbol implies: 2019 = house on stiltswill still be OK. 2029 = house will partially be under water! Morale of the Story? Don't buy low lying homes that are close to sea-level! Unless, your home is in Holland!
