  1. Kid: “Dad, where is mum?” Got it? Get it?
  2. Case Study 7: Who don't want to have unobstructed views? Kee Chiu! "I want! I want! I also want!" P.S. This is just sampling. There can be more.
  3. Case Study 6: Avoid #02-508 and #510 as the unit faces the roof-line of the Drop-off Porch
  4. Case Study 6: Avoid low floors of stacks #606 and #608 to avoid the frontage facing building wall(s) or the roof-line of the school (Sha qi). 1. For Stack #596 also potential roof-line of the school building(s) and "noise" during school hours. Related:
  5. Case Study 5: Precinct Pavilion (PP)+ Avoid low floors of stacks of #592, #594, #590, #628 and #630 1. Avoid low floors of #592, #594, #628 and #630 has it has a view into the PP. Where on occasions there are funerals and religious rituals performed at these events. And on occasions wedding music played out (noise pollution). 2. Also avoid low floors of #590 due to the occasional "noise pollution" also. 3. There are two more PPs in this estate: Block 95 and Block 99 3.1. Same considerations as above.
  6. Case Study 4: Possible Tian Zhan Sha towards stacks #654, #656 and 652 1. Wind influence of Macpherson Weave is mostly via North-South (High / Low pressure zones) due to it's close proximity to the East Coast (sea) and landfall. 2. If strong winds flow from North towards South towards #654 and #656, then do control the wind through the windows of these two stacks. Else may affect both health and wealth. 3. "Wind, wind, go away!" Not me.....#652! Why me? .... 3.1 The good news is that usually wind less likely to flow West to East around Macpherson Weave... PHEW! 3.2. Just in case, if one imagine holding an umbrella and if the wind tilts the umbrella one direction and tries to yank it out of one's hand.. then... do control the wind going into the unit! Reference resource:
  7. Case Study 3: Entry into the estate and #02-576 and #02-578 1. Good news that stack #578 is set-back a distance from the entrance of the service road. 2. However, in the evenings many vehicles would turn into the estate towards the MSCP car park. 2.1. If so, some vehicle head-lights may when turning towards the service road shine their lights into the living room and bedrooms of both #02-576 and #02-578. 3. Thus do avoid these two units like the... the plague... else expect to install "heavy" night curtains.
  8. Ding Ji Keat Hong Mirage $4.50 Signature Noodle. Ingredients as advertised. Noodles flavour is fair. Nothing special. Edible or comfort food.
  9. On 30 June 2021 Dripping refuse “juice” hmmm… Look Here: Dripping waste water towards Refuse Chute Lobby
  10. Common sense of avoiding a unit beside a common bin Location: Somewhere at a common lobby of Watertown mixed development residential block Why am I so unlucky to buy a unit that is in close proximity to the common bin? And who dripped their refuse! Own up else…..
  11. $3.50 simply delicious! Meng Tai / Katong Laksa Blk 494 Jurong West coffee shop Non garlic! Great! Self-helping of extra chilli paste!
  12. Haha, I told my Mrs & she just reminded me that many years ago at our Pasir Ris flat (before we came to know you), a Fengshui person came and his suggestions freaked her out: shifting tables/seating to all kinds of weird positions and painting doors/gates all kinds of “beautiful colours” like pink & red. Perhaps he had to show he’s doing some things to justify. I told her don’t worry, fm the past the enhancements you recommend are usually very subtle: example, small items that one can hide out of sight. I had to put her at ease cos she said if we had followed that guy’s recommendations, we’ll end up more unhappy in the house.
  13. Reply: More to do with common sense A's bottom harder to clean. Haha....ok ok thank u for your wisdom Ok glad to know nothing tondo with fengshui if I change to storage. Thanks
  14. Hi Cecil. Dont mind. Can I ask opinion on storage? Reply: More to do with common sense as bottom harder to clean. Haha....ok ok thank u for your wisdom Ok glad to know nothing tondo with fengshui if I change to storage. Thanks
  15. Btw, fengshui audit, how often shld revisit? Reply: Generally if no issue, no need Reply: But some FSM says compulsory as they want to earn more money Thats why I get this impression lor But so far so good for us. Thank you
  16. In my opinion, not exactly my first choice. But rather or instead some clients have an affinity with Ai Tong School. Thus have to do good with the purchase. LOL Remember (no offence) that I have seen lots, lots so perhaps, you asked the wrong person as my standards are often higher than normal.
  17. Do a search for "Virtual water". As water need not necessarily always be REAL water.
  18. Thanks for the three photos. In my opinion the two roof-lines of the HDB BLOCK(s) pose no threat to this unit.
  19. Case Study 4A: Are Stacks/units #919 and #925 of Block 372A front door facing a long corridor? 1. Generally some may still feel that the front doors face a long corridor. Thus it is rather subjective. 2. Often, if we feel that it is not long; what is there during a re-sale for someone else to feel concerned about it? Case Study 4B: In theory even if the front door of #925 is slightly off-set from the corridor, both #925 and #919 does face each other. 3. Fortunately, in a "High Noon" situation, the doors are really far away. Thus even in many Western movies, both don't stand so far away to draw their guns. Furthermore, handguns (revolvers) aren't that accurate during a duel from such long distances. Got-it, get it? 4. Okay, wait till one buy a condo unit. Most condo unit's front door REALLY faces a neigbour's in CLOSE-proximity. Even as close as 1.5 metres from each other! How's that for a close-up HIGH NOON? "McFly : Back to the Future III "
  20. Case Study 3: Should I be concerned if the front door has a view of the two common bins? 1. Generally, it is good that the planners of this development sandwich majority of the two common bins between the two emergency exit staircase/stairwell. 2. However, unfortunately not so for Stacks #971 and #973. 3. As what separates both the common bin lobby and the two open air common bins (common and recycle) can be seen from the front doors of both these stacks/units:- 4. The red dots shown above are usually the half-height safety railings and often not a solid wall to allow ventilation of the common bin lobby. Well this is often what was seen in previous developments. Well hopefully the HDB has changed this.. But in my opinion be safe the sorry. 5. For example Block 374B shows the block's common bin lobby sandwiched between two emergency exit stairwell = GOOD! 6. Oh Dear! Not fair! Block 373A Stacks 953 and 955 also share the same concern:- 7. This is a NO, NO! If one encounters someone who only "SWEARS" by the Front Door. And even more so, if one hires a Feng Shui Master who only EATS, SLEEP, EAT and SLEEP only on the front door. They are called: THE CONSERVATIVES! 7.1. Cannot understand? How do you Feng Shui your home? Use your front door? Please check out this link:-
  21. Case Study 2: Should I be concerned if the emergency staircase exit door can be seen from my front door? 1. By law all emergency exit staircase door(s) must be closed at all time to prevent smoke from say a burning unit filtering into the staircase and hampering exit from these stairwell. 2. Anyway, if one looks closely at this illustration: Even if at the front door of Unit 1059 can see into the staircase well, the only thing one can really see is the actual staircase door. Not the stairs! Thus what is the problem? No issue right? 3. Okay, okay! Understand. Once Minimum Occupation Period or M.O.P. is up, there can be "fear mongering" potential buyer and or their Feng Shui Master who may see otherwise. Then too bad... next!
