Remembered also same scenario happened at Sol Acres EC, during the Phase II key collection….LOL Date: 18 Apr 2022 Ref No.: PB/KF/Circular/01-04/2022 CIRCULAR SUBJECT: FIRE ALARM INCIDENT (17 APR 2022) Dear Residents, This is to inform you that the recent fire alarm on 17th Apr 2022 was a false alarm. The security had investigated and verified that it was triggered due to incense burning at the lift lobby at one of the residential blocks. Kindly be reminded that the building is equipped with smoke detectors. Non-compliance to the listed activities below may compromise the safety of all residents or may potentially trigger the fire alarm, causing unnecessary disturbances and inconveniences. REMINDERS TO ALL RESIDENTS: 1) No incense burning is allowed within the premises especially at the lift lobbies. 2) No smoking allowed within the premises. 3) Any renovation activities that may include dusty works or works that may potentially emit smoke shall be declared to the Management / Security in advance. 4) Kindly ensure that the induction hob or exhaust fan is turned on to prevent any thick smoke from emitting towards the common areas while you are cooking. IN CASE OF FIRE ALARM: i) Fire alarm will ring, strobe lights will blink and PA system will be sounded. ii) The Main Fire Alarm Panel is linked to the Lift System and for safety reasons, will home down the lifts to Level 2 when the alarm has been triggered. iii) The lifts will remain disabled until the fire alarm panel has been normalized. iv) Upon activation of the fire alarm, all mechanical ventilation fans located at the staircases, car park etc will be turned on as these are also linked to our Main Fire Alarm Panel. v) The fire alarm panel will only be normalized after the security has verified that it is a false alarm. vi) Instructions will be given via the PA system in the event that it warrants an actual evacuation. vii) Emergency exit staircases shall remain unobstructed from any personal items to ensure a smooth evacuation for everyone. viii) In case of emergency, please contact the Security through 6592 xxxxor 6592 xxxx. For the safety of all residents, we seek your kind co-operation to convey the above-mentioned reminders to the rest of the occupiers of the unit or your appointed contractors. Thank you. This layout plan are mostly HDB flats completed around year 1999 to around 2002 under Period 7 Flying Star Period. In general these are some considerations: 1. Avoid the stove facing the toilet door which faces the sink 1.1. Sometimes the owner may change the position of the toilet door. If so, avoid a stove facing this toilet door. 2. Often many of these homes do not install a kitchen door. Even so, avoid an oven / toaster or micro-wave facing bedroom 2 door. Especially if this is a bedroom. Else the above and sharp objects can affect the health of those sleeping in bedroom 2. If bedroom 2 is a study, then no issue. 3. For Master Bedroom, it may be a challenge if a king sized bed (6 feet width) is used. As try to avoid the legs facing the bedroom door. Else it is considered as a "coffin position". 3.1. If the master air-con ledge window is opened, avoid seeing the stove from this window. Or hang bamboo clothes pools as shown pointed towards the master bed. Related 1: Related 2: 4. This is another popular bed placement. No issue since there is a solid wall before the windows. So no concern of legs facing the windows. 4.1. Furthermore, the toilet bowl pipe does not share the same wall as the bed-head. 5. For South facing units, avoid the kitchen especially the stove at NW sector. As South facing units of this layout will either have the kitchen at NE or NW. Reference: Fire at Heaven's Gate: 6. Max opening of the casement windows is 45 degrees... 7. There are many Indian chiefs in Feng Shui. And hopefully don't meet them whom may consider certain areas as large missing area. 7.1. Nice-to if NW sector is not located at the largest yellow highlight = X. 8. These are some of the pointers when purchasing such a around 1999 - 2002 layout type.
