  1. Case Study 2: Stack 135 is a "double edge sword" 1. It is unfortunate that even from the living room, you can see into the yard area of stack 111. This is even more noticeable from the Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2. 2. Once above the height of the MSCP, probably from the 6th floor and higher, you get a clear view all the way to nearby Block 260B. 3. Stack 135 is also affected by the afternoon sun all year round, as the sun shines in at an angle on sunny days. 4. If the wall marked in red is painted in light colors, it can be very bright and glaring when looking out of any stack 135 window during the afternoon.
  2. Case Study 1: Potential Poison arrows and stacks #133 and #135 On stack #133: 1. There may be a sharp corner from the edge of the MSCP on levels 1 to 4, since it is four storeys high. 1.1. It is best to check after collecting the keys to see where this sharp corner is pointing for stack #133. 1.2. If the sharp corner faces a wall of #133, there is no problem. If it faces the living room windows, it is harder to fix since you cannot always keep the curtains or blinds closed. 1.3. If it faces a bedroom window, it is not ideal but can still be managed. On stack #135: 2. For stack #135, there may be a poison arrow or arrows coming from stack #111. Check where the poison arrow or arrows are pointing.
  3. Case Study 2: Temporary COVID-19 related facilities may be set up near residential areas 1. The former 1 SIR Camp buildings at Guillemard Road is unsafe for occupation. 2. Thus if one were to pass-by this former camp, today, one can see a glimse of white tentages similar as those featured in the news at Tanjong Pagar. The tents are currently suppose to house persons or activities associated with COVID-19. 3. Not that the virus can float or travel 800 metres towards Dakota One site. 4. Anyway, by key collection, not sure what will happen at this former camp grounds. 5. If one were to look at the map around Balestier / Thomson. The Tan Tock Seng Hospital Infectious Disease Department is surrounded by so many buildings and even private apartments. 6. Based on common sense, if the former camp grounds is used as a housing facility; take extra precaution when taking the bus or visit facilities if the migrant workers are able to mingle with the public within the near-vicinity.
  4. These are some considerations: 1. Mount Alvernia Hospital (MAH) is a private hospital thus does not have or required to have a mogue or a pathology department to investigate dead bodies brought in by the police for both natural and unnatural death. 2. I don't want to indicate the exact area. (See above) But somewhere around marking X above, there is a room where, if so happen that a patient at the hospital has died. 2.1. The hospital staff would bring the deceased (body) to this waiting area. And when the relative had arranged for the pick-up of the body; witness their loved one is the correct person and the casket company personnel would take over. 3. As you can see this hospital "facility" is closer to Block 808. For Block 802, true that stacks/units facing MAH does look towards the hospital directly. 4. From a Feng Shui point of view, most concern would be where is the pathology department as mentioned under Para 2. The rest of the hospital areas are not that critical. 5. Unfortunately, STIGMA is something which is hard to get rid-off! 6. Even if one were told that it is okay no issue. 7. But if someone has already made-up their mind or kind of half-hearted; thus for example, in a resale of the unit; if you and or your family members share this same concern; others may also equally share it. 8. Also under the Holy Trinity of Chinese Luck System: 8.1. Heaven Luck = born with via Ba Zi [33.33%] 8.2. Earth Luck = Feng Shui [33.33%] 8.3. Human or Man Luck = feel good or well maybe not that great [33.33%] 9. Thus even if the Feng Shui of such a house is good or at least average. It can even be make worse-off if the buyer frequently feel unease over this. If so, if one's Human or Man Luck is DOWN, it will certainly pull down the entire luck of that person. 10. If in doubt please don't consider. Unless one has other ulterior motives like - "it is most affordable due to this concern". Then, cannot say - up to the individuals to weigh what I had mentioned, above. 11. Although SGH is a privatized hospital, however, through tradition, it has an infamous Block 9 = Mortuary where unnatural deaths e,g suicides etc.. are investigated, here:- 11.1. Fortunately, for SGH there are no near-by homes within the vicinity of this Block 9 Mortuary. 11.2. In addition, understand that SGH will be relocating this facility to another near-by location within the hospital grounds. Reference:-
  5. Case Study 1: External surroundings of HDB Dakota One 1. Previously I had a client who was eyeing a unit at Cassia View. And briefly visited the Mountbatten cc. 2. Seems like the current Mountbatten cc is now part of HDB Dakota One. And a new 4 storey Mountbatten Community Club (MCC) is to the SW of this development. 3. As such, the planners of this estate did a good job to buffer HDB Dakota One from the popular Block 51 Old Airport Road Food Centre and Shopping Mall. 3.1. More so, as the current open air temporary carpark beside this new MCC will later be redeveloped into a future High-rise residential development. Thus at least it acts as a buffer between this high rise and Block 88A. Which otherwise may be located near to Cassia Link and Jalan Dua road junction. 4. Oh Dear! Visitors including me will no longer have the luxury of easy parking at the open air temporary car-park. And perhaps have to find a near-by MSCP carpark - given that there are very limited parking lots along Old Airport Road side. 5. Another benefit of having the MCC as a buffer is avoiding food preparation smell as well as noise often up to before 9.55pm coming from the Food Centre. 6. In addition, since last year 2019, I have seen construction works as shown by a red "X" on the former 1 Singapore Infantry Regiment (1 SIR) obstacle course field / ammo dump). 6.1. It is a rather odd shaped building structure. I did not have the opportunity to see the development signage placed outside the site (along Old Airport Road). 6.2. Anyway, this should not be an issue or consideration unless perhaps a religious building or hospital.
  6. For practical purposes, if a door is usually kept open, another effective solution is to place a red dot above the door. This simple measure can help address Feng Shui concerns related to frequently opened doors, offering a convenient way to balance the flow of energy and maintain harmony in your space. Sometimes, you may also encounter a reflective mirror paired with a red dot above a door. This arrangement, reminiscent of the flag from the "land of the rising sun," carries symbolic significance in Feng Shui. The mirror is believed to reflect and redirect negative energy, while the red dot serves as a protective or auspicious symbol, enhancing positive energy flow. Together, they form a simple yet powerful remedy to address energetic imbalances, especially in spaces where doors are frequently open or where direct door-to-door alignment may disrupt harmony.
  7. For confidentiality, I won't mention where you are located. Singapore users in this forum will know that you are not from, here. Erh? Why? In Singapore, it is illegal to own a replica gun. Can be thrown into jail and the keys of the cell thrown away.. LOL

  12. My favourite Boon Kee noodles closed on a Sunday. No choice, wanted to have comfort food. To me , this stall is so-so. The only thing outstanding is their fatty charcoal roasted char siew meat + chilli sauce. Unfortunately, the chilli sauce is mild. And very little. Their Cantonese style noodles are not as firm. This is because when it becomes cold, it sticks or soggy like. Although they provide self-optional helpings of fried pork lard. These are really not fresh and has a strong smell. To be fair, one can always skip this. Their wanton skin is thick. But to be fair, their wantons have pieces of prawns and flavourful. I will only eat at this stall as a last resort. In the past, also on a Sunday, before the above wanton stall had opened, tried this fish ball noodle stall:- I really did not like it at all. Have been keeping a distance from it. To me, this has to be one of the worst Fishball minced meat noodle stall ever.
  13. Is it ok in feng shui perspective if we decide to buy 2nd hand bed frame, chairs & electric appliances? This is not Feng Shui. More to individual considerations... for such things do check with parents for their opinion P.S. In the past many homes have a matriarch have the final say.
  14. On our house hunting service (or Can or cannot buy?) Hi Shifu, great to see u again today. Thank you for being able to make it on last minute notice. ??
  15. Have started to review some of the other August 2020 releases. Have yet to look at this site. Ok, this is really not Feng Shui. Several years ago, I had a client who had purchased a new = a condo unit. They told me that they have difficulty moving (selling) their existing HDB home at Pine Close: ”Good location as it is within the fringe of the city. But was told few Enquiries + potential HDB buyers seems to find the area’s price costly. LOL” (Need deep pockets.. not for young buyers - thus smaller market size for homes in such a location especially if the unit is four or five bedders type.)
  16. As mentioned, previously. This has nothing to do at all with Feng Shui. If your wife or yourself finds it uncomfortable with a real gun like thing in a specific place in a room. Then why give yourself "the agony" of carrying on such a baggage?
  17. Another Tanjong Rhu Wanton Noodle stall at Bukit Panjang Love their Cantonese style crisp noodles The perfect comfort food! Extra fine and firm chewy noodles! Just great Can eat everyday
