  2. Recognise Fake Feng Shui and avoid... When there is no more demand, there will no longer be a supply!
  3. An intelligent person's approach to issues with the help of another tried and tested method (used by A & E Hospitals all over the world) Feng Shui Triage https://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Feng_Shui_Triage And... "Bang head-on" at what costs? Concept of Maximising luck (C) Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net
  4. Jalan Sultan Prawn Mee. Basic bowl is $6/- each. Great taste and quality. But a pity at $6/- lacking quantity = not filling enough. Of course... need to pay more ... Like the Beach Road Prawn Mee at East Coast Road, it has the noghiang fritter stall...
  5. Frankly, knowing that structurally there is nothing one can change + the writer says "we won't be able to do any renovation ", then logically, this is it... https://www.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Thus some of us knowing too well that even if we bang our heads against the wall; it is time to see if we can find other areas to improve our situation.
  6. Growing bamboo on one's apartment balcony can also be a "pain-in-the-neck" and also can invite lots of enemies. Especially when the leaves falls into the various floors (below that unit)....
  7. More bamboo concerns..
  8. 1. (Below url link) While the Intercom system where users have to register their HP numbers usually two HPs is already happening even before Northwave... 2. In fact this intercom system has been in use for many years especially in many small private developments which does not have any guards in their compounds. 3. As these developements are small with only around 23 to 55 units. Many are found in private estates as as Katong, Pasir Panjang, Telok Kuaru etc.... 4. Many small private developments can afford this telephony system as it has the advantages of efficency and security (no security guard at their premises). 4.1. However, unlike a wired dial-up system to the individual unit; this system depending on the age of the unit: GSM/2G/3G/4G and now 5G. 4.2. Today... the system can only support 3G upwards. 4.3. What is the hidden costs if any? As TCC only has two blocks 16 and 18; perhaps less costly as each system has to be tied to either a land line or a cellular system. 4.4. Whenever a visitor initiate a "call" on the intercom, in fact, the telephony system is now dialling out to the respective resident (two of them). And each call may be charged or a limit for each month. 5. Which translates to the more visitors using the telephony system, maybe the phone bills... erh may keep piling up... 6. Some of the condos in recent years using this system is The Trilinq and The Venue. These developments have few blocks. Unlike the newer mega condos such as Treaure at Tampines... may be due to competition, cellular bills are erh going down...
  9. What happens if client want to do the First-time-open door procedure early and invited me to help out? Thus it is good for me to be at the development around 7.30am. 1. Often in the above senario, condominium guards are often very suspicious of visitors arriving so early. 2. Thus, it is good that The Clementi Canopy (TCC) has this... 3. Step 1: Resident/Owner initiate a QR code invitation:- 4. Step 2: Invitation received and visitor's details are entered in a form. I did not manage to print out this form. (The form actually asks a few questions like your e-mail address, how many adult and child visitors on that day). I think also the HP number - which I forgot to input.. LOL Step 3: TCC sents out an invite as follows to whichever e-mail account that you had provided to it:- 5. That's it! 6. More... the above invite has a url link to click on this link below:- 7. So how did it go at the Guard Room? Did the Guard(s) scan the QR code? 8. So funny. Instead of penning down the usual unit address + my HP and name onto their regular Visitors A4 sized record sheet... instead, the guard has a stack of blank paper. 9. Like the many first times I went there, they asked: HP no? Name? Unit number? And once I called out all the details.. they let me know... 10. High tech to low tech... LOL.... 11. At least, at 7.30am, I was not asked what I am doing at TCC early or that I have to wait for the resident/owner to arrive (given that not many have yet stayed in yet...) P.S. For privacy - all personal details are masked out by the YELLOW highlight.
  10. Many Singapore Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store Ask: "Must I buy from YOU?"
  11. Above: The glass study room as a whole appears quite pleasant. However, over time, it may become cluttered or need to be repurposed for a growing family. This could lead to the room being converted into a bedroom, which may require some imagination. In some cases, a half-height wall could be a suitable compromise.
  12. Recognise that many Feng Shui Masters are themselves Feng Shui Emporiums in disguise. Their modus operandi? Feed on our innate GREED. LOL Avoid FAKE Feng Shui.
  13. O'dear many Feng Shui Masters are themselves a Feng Shui Emporium. Their modus operandi? Tap on one's GREED.. LOL... Ask: Must I buy from YOU? When the DEMAND stops, the SUPPLY can! Don't Feed them!
  14. Case Study: Smart Home System 1. Understand that purchasers of a unit at Piermont Grand will have several Smart Home Systems like the "Our Smart Home Gateway"; "Smart Voice Assistance"; Digital Lockset (Perhaps Yale model). 2. Most buyers will often not rely solely on these for their purchase decisions. LOL 3. In the recent iNz Residences; I understand from a client at iNz Residences (just T.O.P.) that some of them had paid extra for a smart home system to learn that the extra they paid were either outdated and/or more inferior than what was provided to some of the residents who had not paid for the extras. 4. Caution prevails that the home is about 2.5 to even as late as 3.5 years later. And obsolesense is a major consideration, today. And electronic products age very fast. 5. Furthermore, often, such a system's shelf life at most coud perhaps be 5 or at most 10 years. Take the notation of the coming telecommuncation 5G systems..as an example. Where the 2G is now obsolete... 3G too slow... etc... 6. By coincidence... this article....
  15. Thank you very much Robert! I appreciate very much your help.
  16. Often a Feng Shui Master is themselves a Feng Shui Emporium in disguise: Must I buy from YOU? When the DEMAND stops, the SUPPLY CAN! BOYCOTT Them!
  17. Part 17: Piermont Grand Site plan Legends - a recap from Part 7.... since this "new" legend is more compartmentalised and clearer than the first version.. 1. Avoid, avoid, avoid categories are proximity to Bin Centre, Substation, Transformer Room and Genset, MDF Room and Carpark Ventilation especially 1st storey (or ground level units). 2. Avoid highest floor where the Water Tank is directly above the unit. 3. Don't like a "noisy" unit? Then avoid Children's Play Pool.. and anything else to do with children. 4. BBQ.. smell - then avoid lower floors where the wind can carry the smells from the barbaque pit such as No. 24 Party BBQ Pavilion, Spa BBQ Pavilion, BBQ Pavilion with Community Garden. 5. Avoid low floors near the Recreational Tennis Court. 6. Avoid units facing the roof-line(s) of facilities (if any) such as the Club House Function Room... 7. In GENERAL, the safest bet is of course higher floor units... erh.. higher the better?
  18. I like this design... as it means that one can safely open any windows (of course) not too wide on heavy winds and rainy days.... So far... touchwood... does not see a whole lot of birds perched on these RC roofs... Did an audit... in one of the offices.. here... Prata ... is not exactly healthy... but it is not a heavy meal... quite suitable in the morning... Curry.. with tumeric... and lots of spices... help to keep dementia away.... Around Chai Chee Road one of the Blocks 6x... Huh? "Let's grab a piece of it." LOL!
  19. Expected date of completion is 30 June 2022 under Period 8 Flying Stars Feng Shui
  20. Case Study: Why is it acceptable for the central rubbish chutes to share the same wall as the kitchen? 1. Early HDB flats of the 1970s till the 1980s have an internal rubbish chute within the kitchen area. Often, it is found below the sink. 2. Common sense + considerate neighbours come into play.... 2.1 It is not perfect because the three stacks/units #179, #181 & #183 must bring their rubbish past unit #182's main door. 3. Hopefully, there is no dripping liquid or spillages from these garbage... 4. Thus common sense says that if one has considerate neighbours that's fine! Otherwise, acceptable but again NOT PERFECT, here. 5. In the last two years, there were some HDB new estates where HDB sold a unit with the living room sharing the same wall as the rubbish bins. This can be considered less than perfect ... or even inauspicious.
