The 1966 Street map shows that Arena Residences is located close to the Chinese Presbyterian Church. And in 1966, this plot of land was surrounded by 4 schools: Guillemard English School, Guillemard Integrated School, Kallang Integrated School and slightly further away is the Government Primary School. In addition, the iconic Singapore Badminton Stadium is a close-by neighbour. Location in terms of Feng Shui is border-line. -

The 1966 Street map shows the plot of land Seraya Residences sits on is a "clean. And during that time very close to St. Hilda's School and Church. And to this development's 8'Oclock is the Haig Girls' School. Today, at 6 O'clock is the current Tanjong Katong Primary School. Some roads close to this development has been consolidated. Otherwise, very much the same as in the 1960's. Just be careful of the straight purple arrow as shown below:-. From this "angle", the development seems more like:- -

The Hyde at Balmoral: Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui - the site is off Steven's Road and generally major concerns so far. This is the e 1966 Streetmap, the main Balmoral Road remains much the same. What is good is that in the past, there were no cemetery or a market anywhere near to the current The Hyde, also. -

Part 12: Is there a concerned if my unit's main entrance door opens towards a wall? To some they have heard that it is inauspicious. As this symbolises a "blockage" of luck coming into the unit: "As immediately once comes in, one "slams" towards a wall = symbolising difficulties". Thus if one meets a superstitious person and/or their geomancer or "hearsay" then it can become a stigma. In partcular to practitioners of Feng Shui who always consider the main door as the frontage. Otherwise, the good news is that often the main door is not the actual frontage of the unit. Thus so long as no reflective material facing the main door is fine or okay.

1. Frankly, if you have read many of the responses in this thread plus the caricatures. The clue is "can a run away vehicle.. plough into the backyard or not?" 2. Given that you had not give much details about the house, you should know better if the above is feasible or not. 3. Therefore, please approach this based on pure common sense. 4. Thus everything can be answered based on pure logic. And not consider this as a "Feng Shui thing". If it makes one happy.. go call this "Common sense Feng Shui". LOL

Actually the review mentioned that it may be a potential poison arrow and not 100% confirmed case. The only way is to be physically present within the unit to confirm whether it is threat or not. It is only a threat if it is aimed towards an opening such as an open window. I have mentioned the cure (if any) on the topic of poison arrow. You also wrote: for stack 578, is there any possible poison arrow from existing HDB flat? Please note that this is a new development and if stack 578 faces common green; most likely the only fear is that for lower floors - if there are tall trees with mature tree trucks aimed towards an open window into that unit. More likely, this stack’s corner is more of a threat to the existing HDB Block than neighbouring Block 468C is a threat to it. Good news is that such trees (if any) takes many years to mature or grow to 4th storey or more.

Morning Master Cecil, a question on Reno timing cos I have not gotten my unit yet. If my Reno starts b4 1st Aug 2019 (start of 7th month) n if e Reno period will be thru out e 7th mth. Do we stop Reno n restart after or we can continue thru out e 7th mth? Reply: No worries can continue during 7th month
