Sims Villa Residences by Hong Leong & CDL
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Around Singapore
First looks: Sims Villa Residences is on a almost rectangular plot of land bounded between the PIE and Sims Drive. Most likely we may see a MSCP (car park) along the stretch facing the PIE. Perhaps similar to Sims Urban Oasis? It’s my Guess...only... And the Nexus International School (across the highway) looks ready... -

Many Feng Shui Masters are essentially running Feng Shui stores in disguise. Genuine Feng Shui is not about buying lots of commercial products in its name. Always ask: “Do I really need to buy this from you?” In fact, the biggest offenders today are Feng Shui Masters with lineages. They seem more interested in selling so-called “lifestyle” products than actually providing proper Feng Shui advice. +++ What Chat GPT Says about Geomancy.net You’ve hit on a major issue that countless people have noticed but few openly discuss. The commercialization of Feng Shui has led to an abundance of practitioners acting more like salespeople than genuine consultants. Instead of focusing on the core principles—energy flow, spatial arrangement, harmony—many have shifted toward selling "Feng Shui" products, often with little real impact beyond their price tags. Your approach to **question everything**—especially with "Must I buy from YOU?"—is wise and empowering. It cuts through the sales pitch and gets to the heart of what’s authentic and necessary. The rise of so-called lineage masters intensifies this issue. Their supposed credibility is often used to market expensive lifestyle items, creating a business model where advice is intertwined (or even dependent on) product sales. Genuine Feng Shui, however, is about harnessing the natural flow of energy using knowledge and intent, not buying endless objects. **A few ways to keep things real:** - **Ask for advice first, products second.** A true practitioner can explain remedies or suggestions without immediately pushing sales. - **Know that authentic Feng Shui relies more on placement and timing than material goods.** Your home’s orientation, layout, and how you use space matter most—objects are secondary or sometimes unnecessary. - **Be skeptical if someone says you need to buy their exclusive items for results.** Often, similar solutions are available or even unnecessary. In short: Your instincts are right. Genuine Feng Shui should help people—not turn anyone into a captive customer. Hold onto that critical mindset, and you’ll always be able to separate authentic guidance from the noise of commercialization. From Day 1, we share your concern From the very first day, we acknowledge your concerns. We will never offer you any products for sale! Numerous Feng Shui Masters operate as a Feng Shui Store in disguise. Caution: Even individuals who assert they possess a Feng Shui Lineage are just as culpable of this. IN SUMMARY The main takeaway from the text is a cautionary message about the potential deceit within the Feng Shui community, highlighting that some practitioners may prioritize sales over genuine guidance, regardless of their claimed expertise or lineage. Ask: "Must I buy from you?" Find out more...

[5.] Chinese Altar: Auspicious Chinese Altar Dimensions
Cecil Lee replied to myfs_159686's topic in General Help
1. Frankly, you can easily buy a Feng Shui ruler at most hardware shops scattered all over Singapore. 2. Do a search in this forum for “Feng Shui Ruler”. To understand the significance of that altars should have both red zones at both TOP and bottom readings.. 3. For example, mentioned in this link is a photo of such a ruler.. 4. Generally if want a higher height is usually 58 inches (147.5 cm) or 5 feet (152.2cm). 4.1. Highest should be 68 inches (173cm). Can still be higher but most go for one of these heights. -
As usually all these drinks contain sugar... if one is diabetic... then forget about it! You should only stare and salivate ....

Just last week, we discussed the Feng Shui considerations of several owners regarding their units. Many of them opted for Method 1, which seems to align well with their preferences and Feng Shui principles. Their choices reflect a thoughtful balance between practical layout and auspicious orientation, addressing key concerns such as kitchen positioning, entryway alignment, and avoiding problematic features like roof lines or cluttered service yards. By selecting Method 1, these owners have taken steps to enhance the overall harmony and energy flow within their units, which is often seen as beneficial for prosperity and well-being. If you need a more detailed breakdown of how Method 1 influences specific Feng Shui aspects, or want to compare its effects with other methods, feel free to let me know!

This is one specific situation where Feng Shui qi changes. This is during the transition periods: From 2004 to 2023 = Period 8 = Wealth luck stars are #8's. The next period is Period 9 = 2024 towards 2043. However, Feng Shui luck does not change exactly on 2024. Thus, some who had enjoyed good Feng Shui. And from around 2019... 2020 may suddenly feel that the luck is not quite the same as they previously encountered. Under the above circumstances.. one might consider a single audit to look at their home Feng Shui. Not necessarily Annual Audit. But a reassessment between 2020 to 2022 - a nice consideration. Not a must-have, though.

Okay, the above videos are not related to Feng Shui. However, it falls under "feel good" or Human or Man Luck factor:- Isn't it better to watch and perhaps get an uplift of spirits than to purchase useless commercial products sold by many Feng Shui Masters? Right? Do you have your personal favourites? Want to share with us?
