  1. Do a search for "Ba Gua mirror" in this forum and there are lots of case studies on it... Such as: and more...
  2. Case Study - Is the altar really facing the master bedroom windows? Please note that only if the altar directly faces your master bedroom window as shown as marking in red "X"; then this is considered the altar facing your master bedroom. But on many occasions some think that even if the altar faces markings A and B; this is also like what you meant. If so this is not a concern, here. Thus what you mentioned is not a "threat".
  3. A typical Ba Gua mirror to "deflect" a altar facing one's main door or windows: has both the 8 trigrams at it's outer perimeter + a mirror at it's centre. Traditionally, the mirror is flat. The rational is that a spirit usually is scared to see it's own image. Assuming the neighbour's is a Chinese deity or Buddha; then the most common recommended mirror is either A. Traditional or B. Modern as shown below:- Nowadays, the most popular sold is a variant of B. Modern. But the mirror is often conVEX or conCAVE. Even though there is also a flat mirror. Should I choose a Ba Gua mirror with a flat or conVEX mirror. In the past, it was a flat mirror. For the purpose of someone looking at it, will look at it's exact face. However, the conVEX can also serve this purpose. Although it's main purpose is to deflect sha qi.. such as a lamp post aimed towards a window etc... Just avoid buying a ba gua with a conCAVE mirror for this purpose of "defending" against an "altar placement". Reference:
  4. Dear Daniel, These are some considerations: 1. As you mentioned, it depends on the proximity of their altar. Close proximity is subjective. To some, it is close-by. To others, may be a comfortable distance even if "close-by". 2. Compass directions: the worst is IF your master bedroom and the altar at a NE (devil's gate) and SW (devil's backdoor alignment). If so, a bagua mirror with a convex mirror at the centre is okay to be hung above the bedroom window. 3. Type of GOD. Although many conservative FSMs (Feng Shui Masters) will always ask to place a ba gua mirror, even for all types of GODs. 4. In essence, majority of FSMs would often ask you to purchase a traditional Ba Gua Trigram at the outer ring and the convex mirror to deflect it. 5. Liberal FSMs may ask you to draw the day curtain permanently.
  5. Frankly, the three-spoke-star block design is pretty uncommon in Singapore. As compared to the four spoke block design and others...
  6. The Two Blocks at Aspen Heights resemble a three-star-spoke (Mercedes Benze logo) The development is up slope .... Stairs radiating outwards was a popular design feature of flats developed during the 1990's...
  7. Looks like the developer invited the ERA agents to familiarise...as not opened to the public... 29.10.2018 Preview is on 3 November 2018...
  8. Be this, be that. Location: a hair stylist at Rivervalley
  9. Thanks thanks ? very detailed discussion
  10. Yes. Read those as well. Thanks Very helpful information. [Can or cannot buy service]
  11. Free free to use this free link http://dates.geomancy.net For the next thirty dates. The dates are personalised to one’s Ba Zi.
  12. These are some considerations: 1. The traditional wedding cards are written in black ink. In modern times, some use gold or silver pens. These are perfectly okay. 2. While RED or pink wedding cards are fine or okay. It is odd to write someone's name in RED. 3. Even if it is perfectly okay for the sender (wedding couples) who feel writing in RED is okay to them. But the consideration is for the person receiving the invitation. 4. Some may feel disturbed or feel uneasy to see their name(s) in RED or in "BLOOD" colour. 5. Thus, to be on the safe side, why be the odd one out? Please DON'T do it!
  13. Cecil, so sorry. For wedding invitations, is there a rule that the words in the card (or the paper in the card) can not be written in red? Reply: Nobody writes in red. Black ink or nowadays silver or gold.
  14. Last year, I visited a new client who had stayed in an existing condo for a few years. As I walked past a display shelf, I can't help but noticing a photo of her son with his handwritten words: "I want to be "The Rapist" when I grow up?" I was DEEPLY SHOCKED! Huh? What? As I composed myself and suddenly realised that the son had broken the occupation into TWO (2) words: THE & RAPIST. He should have closed the gap. If so, the word now becomes: "Therapist!" Got it? Get it? Hahahaha....
  15. Thank you so much Cecil for your help and advice! ?
  16. 1. This is not Feng Shui! I am just sharing a good thing! 2. Please note that through the years the model no. quoted: MK brand S4338 WHI [Year 2019]. In the future the model number may not necessary be identical to this. 2. The major advantage is that this door bell is compact and occupies the same dimensions of a concealed socket. Unlike some other brands that protrude out of the casing. 3. I have asked many clients to consider looking at this flushed-bell for their new units (whenever suitable). 3.1 The bell socket can be found directly above the cavity for the fridge in a past T.O.P. Treasure Crest condo development as the bell housing is just behind the fridge. Thus if not for this compact bell, the fridge may have to be pushed out further! 3. The MK Wired Battery Operated Melody Door Chime suitable for BTO HDB and Condo (Door Bell Chime). 4. Three years ago if bought from an electrical shop selling MK branded switches etc..., it was only $10/-. 4.1. But today I understand the price range between $20 to $25/-. [Or may cost more in the near future.] 5. The battery compartment is at the front (where it is stamped @ LOVESIGNS.NET.) And the battery can easily be changed. Needs 3 x AAA’s. Many tones to choose from. ========================== P.S. I am NOT SELLING THIS, PLEASE. LOL! Please note that I am not offering this for sale. I am simply sharing something beneficial. I have received inquiries from several individuals asking where they can purchase it. I clarified that sharing does not imply that I am selling it. Therefore, I kindly request that you refrain from reaching out to me regarding this matter. ===========================
  17. There goes our three years of peace and quiet + and mostly blocked views for those affected.
  18. This is not Feng Shui. But many ECs have a group buy for this: most compact wired bell. The bell socket can be found directly above the cavity for your fridge in Treasure Crest: MK Wired Battery Operated Melody Door Chime suitable for BTO HDB and Condo (Door Bell Chime). In the past if bought from a specialty electrical shop, it was only $10/-. But today I understand the price range between $20 to $25/-. The battery compartment is at the front. And the battery can easily be changed. Needs 3 x AAA’s. Many tones to choose from. P.S. I am Erh.. hmm... selling this. Just sharing a good thing, that’s all!
  19. A Feng Shui expert often teach their clients the art of placing a Chinese Loupan directly (on the horizontal level) below the deity. To increase it’s power. For the novice, fool hardy to place it vertical behind the deity. To be effective, the proper settings is used. However, please don’t follow this. As it is not one size fits all! P.S. I am advising the client on how to do it...
  20. Thanks These are some considerations: 1. 阳宅三要 or Yang Zhai San Yao The three major considerations in a home: Main Door or Frontage, the Kitchen & Bedrooms ( and their suitability to the main breadwinner and if possible each family member’s) 2. You have done the comparison, that is good. 3. Many Professional Feng Shui Masters, don’t just look at this simplistic model and then come to a premature conclusion. 4. You are missing:- 4.1. Location, location and location: External and internal Shapes and Forms. This accounts for 70 percent of the considerations or decisions. 4.2. The other Compass School: What you applies Eight House concept only accounts for 15% of the total of 100 marks. What happens to the other 15% based on Flying Stars? 5. To summaries: Location, Location, Location = 70%. The bulk is the external Feng Shui, followed by the site or building. Although you looked at some smaller issues such as toilet at the centre, missing corner(s)... that is just not good enough. Eight House = 15% Flying Stars = 15% 6. Furthermore, you have not stated who is the main breadwinner. 6.1 If it is a male; are you aware that for one of the charts: the kitchen is at NW. 6.2 If not sure why, do a search for “Fire at Heaven’s Gate”. 7. Therefore, tell me how am I going to advice on such rudimentary /superficial diagnosis. Without looking at the big picture. 8. Although you made good effort; unfortunately, no offence, this is just basic or Primary School Feng Shui at the very best. 8.1 The saying goes: “This is just the Tip of The iceberg. What happens to the other 90% that is still under the water.”
