HDB Woodleigh Glen and Flying Stars Feng Shui

1. This site does not offer any 5-bedroom units.

2. Possibly due to the trapezium-shaped plot, the architect designed a box-like layout plan with a central spine and spaced sections.

3. There are 688 units in total, all with facings aligned to the Flying Stars directions: N1, N2, S1, S2, and E2.

4. There is another row, shaded in purple, for which I did not plot the compass readings.

5. Details for N1 and S1 facing stacks:

6. N1 units have the auspicious double 8 stars at the frontage. This is especially favorable if the frontage has a water feature.

7. Ideally, the master bedroom should be in the NE sector, where it benefits from the auspicious star combination of MS#6 and WS#1.

8. A bedroom located in the East sector is good for use as a study.

9. Other sectors may contain inauspicious stars and could require remedies.

10. In S1 units, the combined wealth stars MS#8 and WS#8 are located at the rear, which is usually the kitchen and yard area. This is less ideal.

11. It is beneficial if a bedroom is in the East sector, as this supports studying.

12. If the main entrance is in the NE sector, it is excellent due to the favorable combination of MS#1 and WS#6.

13. For N2/3 and S2/3 facing units:

14. N3 units have double auspicious 8 stars wasted at the back of the unit, making them less favorable.

15. S3 stacks are best for East group individuals, as both frontages feature double auspicious 8 wealth stars. Additionally, the facing direction has water, which brings great wealth.

16. The frontage benefits from the prosperity stars [8] and [8], symbolizing wealth and good fortune at the front of the home, whereas N2 facing units have these stars hidden at the rear, usually in the kitchen or yard.

17. A concern for S2 facing charts is that the kitchen may often be in the NW sector. In Feng Shui, this is known as "Fire at Heaven’s Gate" and can affect the male breadwinner’s career luck.

18. For South-facing (S2) units, it is best to choose a unit where the kitchen is located in either the North or North-east sector.

Case Study: Why isn’t it okay for the central rubbish chutes to share a wall with the kitchen?

1. Early HDB flats from the 1970s to the 1980s have an internal rubbish chute located in the kitchen area. It is often found below the sink.

2. Common sense and thoughtful neighbors are important here.

2.1 This is not ideal because units #179, #181, and #183 have to carry their trash past unit #182’s main door.

3. Hopefully, no liquid or rubbish spills when taking out the trash.

4. If neighbors are thoughtful, this setup is okay. But if not, it’s acceptable but not the best.

5. In the last two years, some new HDB estates had units where the living room shared a wall with the rubbish bins. This is not ideal and can even be seen as unlucky.

. S1 The combined auspicious wealth stars MS#8 + WS#8 are at the "rear" of the unit. Such a waste as usually this is the kitchen & yard area.

What are the MS#i And WS#'8 stars and what can I do to maximize luck for a NE entrance apartment?

Firstly, one has to be accurate in determining what is the compass degree of the house. As even a NE home can come under NE1, NE2/NE3 as the chart shows:-

2. In Singapore, it is important to check either the Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.) date for private homes or the Lease Commencement date for HDB flats.

2.1. Homes are usually classified under these periods:
Period 6: 1964 to 1983
Period 7: 1984 to 2003
Period 8: 2004 to 2023
Period 9: 2024 to 2043 (for new or upcoming homes where key collection is expected in 2024 or later)

3. Next, plot the relevant Flying Star Chart to identify where the wealth luck is located.

4. From now until 2023, the strongest wealth luck comes from the #8 stars, which are MS#8 and WS#8.

4.1. However, from 2024 to 2043, these #8 stars will represent past prosperity and will no longer bring current wealth luck.

4.2. Starting from 2024, and even now to some extent, the #9 stars are becoming the dominant numbers for wealth luck. Find out where they are in your home and consider activating them.

This project looks like it will likely TOP before 2024.

So in this instance then I should be looking at the thread of period 8 house in period 9 I guess?

Also saw your discussion on what date to use. If in this instance I don't move in until after 2024, this will be a period 9 house?

Based on this, it is when humans move in.

Based on this, it is when humans move in.

Often, when a home is passed down to a second owner, they may not realize its Feng Shui period has changed. If they practice Feng Shui or hire a consultant, they might mistakenly assume the home is still under Period 8. I understand—the first owner has moved on and probably doesn't care anymore! After all, who would mark the occasion with a commemorative plaque?

16. The frontage has the current prosperity [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area.

17. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck.

18. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred.

N2 = Better luck under Period 9. From 2024 till 2043.

& this is just part of the many considerations in a home purchase.
