Dear Anon, I elaborate further at a later date. Do note that under the Five Elements concept, we often introduce a controlling element. For example, in your case of WEAK WOOD element, and if the season of influence is METAL element; to neutralise the METAL element effects on the person, the remedy is to introduce either: a. WATER element. Here water produces or increases WOOD. b. Alternatively if we do not introduce WATER, we can introduce FIRE element. Where FIRE destroys METAL. Under Para a. We apply the productive cycle i.e. Water -> increase weak Wood = STRONG WOOD. To help weak WOOD grow in strength to overcome METAL element. Undera Para b. We apply the destruct…

1. Frankly, in many instances, there is no really need to cleanse the figurines. It is like akin to "nice-to-do" and not a "must-do". 2. In addition, the key success factor is often to make sure that whatever we place at our front door if possible should be:- 2.1 well nourished - figurines... not thin or skeletonal look 2.2 It is even better if these figurines have a "happy face". It is akin to the concept of "greeted" by a happy face! Imagine many of us who rear dogs... when the owner comes back... "that kind of feeling".

Hi , master Cecil! We have the opportunity to build a new home that is either face NE or SW. Problem is, my husband and i are both East (4 & 9) group. What can we do? Which would be better for us? Also, as I am trying to practice and apply remedies to our current home, I get confused as to which one should take precedence or which one should I give more weight, the annual stars or the natal chart of the house? v>Thank you and I look forward to reading your sage advice.

Dear Pat, Frankly, if one is using proper Feng Shui Audit, it involves many Feng Shui concepts and principles and includes other disciplines such as Pillars of Destiny of each member of the family. There is no way, to just give a brief description and somehow an answer can be given. Majority of the time, a Feng Shui practitioner has to be present to review the external environment, the site and then look at the sitting of the house. Usually, based only on the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui, a site should be best to have the backing (support) of a mountain while the frontage of the house (the frontage need not necessarily be the front door) should face clear space and…

Dear Bea, If one is not too sure or does not apply Feng Shui, the best colours are often pastel shades or neutral white or colours that are white but with a tinge of other (light colours). Often, colours like bold yellow etc... especially where there are sectors with #5 may not be appropriate as this may result in sickness. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. In fact, to be honest, Geomancy.net even in Singapore is one of the few or the only one that is not selling commercial products. 2. Why sell commercial products? 2.1 Commercial products "in the name of Feng Shui" is highly marked up! Using commonsense, many find it more lucrative to sell such products! 2.2 To them, they don't care too-hoots where you get your hard-earned money from, but these people, don't have a conscience and like all "cheats"; simply wantus to depart with our hard earned money! 2.3 Imagine, profit margins are as high as even 500 to 1,000 percent! Unheard of! Yet, people are gullible to purchase them for the sake of .. "greed"! 2.4 Frankl…

Dear Vijay, Vijay kumar Malik wrote: Please advice me: My kua no is 3. Now I am living in a rented house no 24 facing SW direction. Vijay kumar Malik wrote: I likely to shift to a new house bearing no 60 ( SW ) or 29 ( SE ).Can you please advice me to opt for which one. I do not have any other option to shift. If you are a Gua (Kua) 3, then South-East is better as it is your longevity, compared to South-West (Disaster). Given, there is no other option, then South-East would be the more suitable of the two directions given an East group person. Generally, for East facing group person, the best houses especially if the house is built after 2004 (Period 8), would be a …

Hi, I would like to know if there are any cures for my hubby who has a roving eye.2 years ago, I almost caught him having an emotional connection/affair with a woman colleague. But he said there was nothing. Lately, I notice he keeps eyeing younger and sexy looking girls as soon as my back is turned. Is there any feng shui cures for making him loyal to our relationship? Please help!

Dear Anon, Further to what I had mentioned earlier, please accept my sincere apologies. Earlier, I just realised after reading your message again that you had mentioned that your bed is a `wooden' bed. In such a situation, I can understand why the `suggestion' was made for you to place 4 coins. Where 4 represent SMALL WOOD. Since the bed is made of wood, and not to overkill by placing 3 coins (where 3 represents BIG WOOD); usually based on Five Element concept, the " 4 coins with the wooden bed " would equate = 3 or Big Wood. Again, I feel that the above is based on `Beliefs' and I find it really no harm if this `process' is continued. But based on the concept of applying…

Dear Stephaine, 1. I can quite understand your confusion on how to apply the various concepts that appears in various books - authors, FS practitioners. 2. On a macro level; it would be best to avoid `modern' day concepts on Feng Shui. Such as Ba Gua teachings or the use of Fixed templates. 3. Where possible, try to find out, where possible, whether certain forms of FS is based on `modern' day teachings or traditional forms of Feng Shui. I understand this may be difficult if one learns from a third party. But if it is through a book or site, try to avoid sites relating to Black Hat Sect FS. The clue is to check on the author's background and /or association especially wi…

Dear Hoa Luong, In the sample, the compass direction pointing North. Here, if the facing direction is North, then take the orientation of North as the compass marking. Since the home is orientated North -- South, determine the facing direction by checking e.g. where is usually the main entrance or drive-up area. In your sample, the facing direction can only be either North, South or also East or west. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, If you have the time, please check out my most recent reply (today) i.e. Part I and Part II - Facing direction of House I strongly believe that the above two write-ups will offer a good guideline as to the rationale for the facing direction and what to look out for a facing - direction. In your case, based on your limited information, it would seem that the facing direction should be North as opposed to NW (main door direction). Do check out the above information. I am sure, one can have a better understanding what to look out for. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, I need some help from you. I had just got married last year 15 Mar 2003. Since then, I bought my new house last year Nov. Even since then, everything is not turning fine for me. My wife does not want to get intimate with me and keep quarrelling with me. My work life is not smooth either and I have quite a bit of financial problem. Thus can I ask what should I look for in my new house or take note in my normal routine so that I can improve my current situation?

Dear Master Cecil Lee Congratulations for maintaining and continuously upgrading the Geomancy Net. Kudos to your painstaking, educative and comprehensive efforts in helping millions to take note & understand this science of Feng Shui. I feel exultant every time I visit your site. Today I visited the slide show. It was very nice to see the pictures which were impressing. May I suggest the following: 1.-Please add symbolic reference to each picture wherever possible to enhance the usefulness ( e.g. crane stands for longevity). Addition of such comments would help a lot to novices like me to Feng Shui. 2.-You can also suggest the preference for colour if applicable to th…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am one month pregnant and I have heard that according to feng shui principles it is a bad idea to move while pregnant. But my apartmennt is not suitable for a child and has many questionable attributes so in my case would moving still be a bad idea? Which is worse, a bad apartment or moving while pregnant? Why is moving while pregnant a bad idea anyway? Yes, it is not good to move while you are pregnant. This is simple logic, moving often requires strength and often easier for accidents to occur, people knocking into you while moving. So if you move while you are pregnant, the chances of miscarriages is higher. So it is never wise to move w…

Dear Wendy, 1. Since you already have confirmed moving into the home, yes, you can check out the house orientation viz a viz the main entrance door after you have moved into the house. 2. In macro Feng Shui, the best method to determine how good the site is; is to look at the overall city or county where your home is located. 3. We have to remember here that macro Feng Shui is important. The general well being of family households lies with the location i.e. city / county that one's home is located. 4. Next, the external environment of your home. As you had mentioned, your house is shielded by a large hill. 5. In general, the prosperity of not only your house but your ne…

http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_cry.gif Hi I'm new to the group and have a few questions. The windows in my room face my auspicious direction (kua 8)W, but there is a balcony outside there, and the parking lot of the building beyond that. There is stuff on the balcony belonging to my roommates(clutter), but I covered the nearest stuff with an orange tarp. Also one end of my windows cuts into the SW relationship corner. My computer faces one of my inauspicous directions S, but it allows me to see the door, and lets me have my back to the wall. If I change it to a good direction (W, SW) my back will be away from the door. Which is better? The entrance to my …

Dear Cecil, My husband(Rooster 1969) and I(Ox 1973) was married on 30th April 1996. We choose d this date as it was my birthday. However, misfortune seem to fall after our marriage. First we met with an accident and both of us injured. Then my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was operated twice and radiation done but unfortunately his tumors recurred again. We begin to suspect that our "Bazi" ke(crush). We approached a fortune teller and understand from him that our marriage date was not auspicious and has crushed with the "San Niang Sha". Dear Christie, Christie Tiew wrote: i read the info in this web, that indicated snake cant be a good couple, is there any way to save the relationship? pls give some advise . thank you. Generally, horoscope compatibility is only one form of compatibilty check. It does simply comparison between one horoscope signs vs 11 other different signs to come up with how compatible or uncompatible the signs will be rated. Besides that check, you can make use of the free comparison report in the Member Area:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net You see, even for Snake horoscope signs, there may be a weak water snake, strong water snake etc. A weak water snake vs weak wood snake would…
