Dear Steve, Steve Jhun wrote: The problem is, the house sits on a road that makes a 'T' and therefore the road creates a poison arrow directly to our front door. Steve Jhun wrote: I've read that I could possibly remedy this by hanging a bamboo windchime or even planting somehedges to block this. Move the door position is really not an option. Would a water fountain help as well? Do you have any suggestions to remedy this or should we look for another house? Sha Qi from roads are harder to cure because these are external shapes and form influences. I would say that the planting of hedges to block this will be much better than the use of a bamboo windchime. In feng s…

Dear Nina, 1. In my opinion, using `fixed' Ba Gua template is not proper FS concepts. 2. However, I have taken the opportunity to marked out the `centre-point' of your house. If you are using Compass School Feng Shui methods such as: Eight House of Flying Star, you can take a compass reading (refer to house1a.bmp) and `aim' the compass towards the main entrance. The compass reading will determine the direction of your main entrance door. 3. For the second part of the `L' shaped layout, you can super-impose the map to this other half. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Please download attached file.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Doeskeeping a picture or statueof a leopard or other wild cat carry the same significance as keeping a tiger picture or statue? When it comes to pictures, it is more the symbolic representation that matters. For example, picture of fishes/horses/flowers etc or non violent pictures tends to be more welcome thantiger/dragons which is often considered fierce. Ideally, you want a home to be welcoming and therefore keeping pictures of more harmonious pictures are often better. Pictures such as tiger/leopard can still be displayed but should be avoided. Or if you do wish toplace such sha qi, it should be used to counter some some poison arrow. Ult…

Dear Asha Menon, asha menon wrote: Hello i shall be moving location to Delhi Noida, we have seen an appartment that faces SW. My Kua number is 7 is this a suitable falt front door opening direction for me please advise As long the house faces any of the 4 good directions in your eight house, the house is deemed suitable to you. So given gua 7 is West group facing, so SW facing house is good for you. If the house is built after 2004 (period 8 house), the SW facing will have very good feng shui luck compared to other facing direction, but several sectors will need to be balanced else health issues may arise. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Cen…

Dear Andreea, 1. In my opinion, Chinese Astrology like its cousin ( Western Zodiac signs ) provides a description of the `traits' of a person belonging to a `sign'. 2. I feel that these signs or readings if one consciously or unconsciously read about what it is like for a person, sometimes, we may tend to `believe' that our `traits' or characterstics are like that described. This may lead to `auto suggestion' and some of us may `follow' such characteristics. 3. For example, if we read that a `Rat person' is:- The Rat person is charming and ambitious. They are always busy and seldom able to relax fully. If not, they get bored easily or get bad tempered. They enjoy going t…

Dear Anon, In my opinion, although the main door facing may not be suitable to you; however, it is too premature to know for sure how it affects your finance. For example, this can be considered as ONE (1) leak. But yet, this one leak can be either: No or minimal issue (minor leak) or a major leak. From my past experience, many other factors need to be taken into account:- 1. External Environment (The landscape, the site, the building). This is strongly affected by Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Usually, the rich get richer, is by building a home specific to draw wealth from the environment. This is not illegal as one cannot complain to the police to arrest him/her. Qua…

Dear Kavita, 1. In general, the advise is not to have toilets at `true compass directions' i.e. North, South, East, West, NE, NW, SE and SW. 2. In theory, this calls for relocation of the toilet to solve the "problem". In reality, it is difficult or impossible to simply shift some of the toilets. It comes as it is. Nothing much one can do here. 3. It is generally considered that a toilet is a YIN location i.e. becase of water element in it and it is generally `darker' and more YIN. The only thing which one can do is to: 3.1 Close the toilet door when not in use. 3.2 Make it more YANG e.g. keep it dry and bright. Frankly, in my opinion, other than the above nothing much on…

Dear Master Lee Thank you for your quick reply and advice. We currently sleep with the door closed. I understand that this would minimize the problem. I will take your advice and place a "shield" between the bedroom door and the child's bed. Thank you very much.

Dear Cavas, Cavas Panthaky wrote: When measuring the direction a house faces, does one take the magnetic variation into consideration? If you havegood compass with magnetic shielding to prevent interference. Those reading will usually not be affected too much by other influence from the house or building structure. If not like the earlier post, take a few readings. Especially take one which is on a clear space slightly away from your home. See if there are any deviation from that reading and the one taken at your home. The one furthers away from any major building or power lines will tend to give you a good reading to check against any deviation. Hope that helps. War…

These are some considerations:- 1. Most likely your whole flat painting could have been affected by each year's "sensitivities":- 2011 Flying Star Forecast North 8 3 1 9 7 5 4 2 6 South Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at South Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at East Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North Education/Romance Star this year is at South-West Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is West. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 2. For example, in the above example; esp…

Hi, Grateful if all users can take note when creating a new topic, please try not to use one syllable word e.g. Dowsing. I have changed the wording to: Is Dowsing Important? This is because it is easier for Users here to `pick' and choose the topic they want to read. Thanks in advance. To find out more on what you have mentioned please go to this url: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/under.htm You will find the answer there. Thanks. Cecil

Dear Oliv, Oliv Sullivan wrote: What is Huo Hai? I have been told have this at my front door entrance in the west sector. Generally, in flying star star 2/5 are considered illness/misfortune. So if you have such stars in that sector, then you are considered to have some huo hai (disasaster). If there are such stars, Metal is necessary to balance the sector. You can use the free flying star report in our member area to determine if there are such stars present. The other disaster to take note is the one from your suitability, ie West is Disaster sector. In this case, you can't do much here if this is your main door, because this is a matter of suitability. You can only …

Dear Utpal, Please see below:- Under Ba Zi, if one is a weak water or strong fire; it is best not to have too much of the fire element. Nowadays, there is too much commercialisation in Feng Shui to the extent that even pyramid objects which was one used by another ancient civiliation : Egypt and Maya's. In China, we do not seem to see a pyramid. And because of this, it was felt that products such as a pyramid `cure' or `enhancement' is more of a gimmick. Please do not mistaken it with a Pagoda. In the past, Pagoda's are often placed above water veins especially lower down the river to neutralise (underground water) sha qi. It should not be construded as a pyramid shap…

Dear Fiona, Yes, I do agree with your analysis. Under Period 8, if your home has a SE 2 Flying star chart; it is not really a fantastic chart since only the front and back have good numbers. Otherwise, as you had mentioned, majority of the other sectors under SE 2 (P8) needs attention. Therefore, it is like a double edged sword, if the home were to fly to Period 8. No, although there is the pearl string, but you still need to place a cure for star #7 especially at the frontage. However, once this is neutralised; this is fair game:) Do use the alternative door, you mentioned. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. In order to be "attacked" by a poision arrow, it is often the sharp corner of another mega building close-by. 2. At sixteenth floor; so long as especially your unit living room window does not over-look at a "pole" like structure that directly slices the living room, then it does not pose an issue. For bedrooms, also, so long as it does not slice any of the rooms thru the bedroom, this is not an issue. However, a simple day curtain especially for a bedroom can easily help to "cover" it. Thus if it no longer is seen it no longer can create a poison arrow. 3. This tower is significant especially if one has a child studying in a bedroom. For example, if the tower is to …

1. As I mentioned, in the previous message; if Feng Shui is to be applied; usually it is based on Para 2... e.g. Flying Star Feng Shui and/or in the Far East, if a place has good Shapes and forms Feng Shui; it can sell by itself. 2. If you are especially say in the US, housing market is pretty stale at the moment with tons of homes on foreclosure and many uanble to get proper loans. 3. Honestly, Feng Shui is not a cure all. Only those that has been mentioned in my last msg (refer to Para 2 of that msg) and under Para 1, of this msg.
