In my opinion, these are some considerations: 1. Often, not an issue unless 1.1. there are too many left over items such as large amounts of pebbles or stones. 1.2. This is not Feng Shui, but avoid placing it at corridors or areas when rain water may flood into the fish tank (mosquito breeding). Otherwise, I don't think there is any issue with the empty fish tank.

Hi, Although there is a significance attached to the interpretation of each Trigram (hexagram) for each direction. This is about it. This is commonly known as the Eight Associations or Aspirations or Life Aspirations. One must remember that even the basic Compass School Eight house theory is personalised to a person i.e. based on his/her year of birth. Each one of us thus have a specific kua number. If you look at the Eight Aspirations Concept, it is applied to everyone and this really makes no sense. I have often quoted that if each of us e.g. 10 of us in an office places a picture frame or rose at the SW, and all of us are trying to get close to a specific colle…

Dear Diane, It would be `nice' if you have a sketch of the front door area to better appreciate the situation. Usually, it may not be all that bad as the front door is `protected' from poison arrows. This is the plus point. However, this is usually considered in relation to the entire house layout such as the entry and exit points of `Qi' e.g. from windows, main entrance to the back area and also to look at the `frontage' of the house. Based on `Feng Shui' by intuition, if all along there is `peace' and harmony in the home for the 140 year old house, the adage is "if it is not broken, don't fix it". But if there is a `history' of problems or a common problems for the hous…

I am having trouble with money. I can only give you some background below. Bottom Line how can I fix the money going onto credit cards - but not coming in to pay the bills, food, mortgage and car loans. As you can see I am a dog breeder and have been for 10+ years. This is the worst year in my history. The dogs have only had 1/2 the numbers of puppies that they usually have. My husbands job of 32 years burned to the ground in April. I have 24 dogs and none are coming into heat, had or having babies for the last 6 months. I usually have three dogs at a time every 3 months. So that I always have a puppy or two for sale. - Right now I have lots of business opportunities comi…

1. The holistic method is to maximize the three main luck factors: 1.1. Heaven Luck - the question you asked lies within this area 1.2 Earth Luck - Feng Shui of your home and even office surroundings 1.3 Man or Human Luck 2. What you had mentioned earlier that your five element breakdown shows that you have zero water, zero wood etc... this is often "corrected" by some parents or grand parent going to a geomancy to try to get a CHINESE name balanced to or harmonised to the person. As you are aware some people change their name later part of their life perhaps as their parent did not have the luxury of checking out one for them earlier in life. 3.For a strong yin metal,…

Dear Aloysius, 1. Usually, the most common method is that one can still try to activate M8 in this sector. 2. In addition, some practitioners may recommend aconcave bagua mirror. Where it is used to "suck" back the missing corner. Ideally,a neighbour's balcony / living room should not be in very closeproximity when we hang aconcave bagua mirror. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Aloysius Chia wrote: A HDB flat balcony happen to be in a west sector with flying star M8 W6 B9 and under 8 mansion it isin theYan Nian sector. But the balcony only occupied half the sector, is there a way to boost/enhance it as M8 does benefits a lot to the people of the flat.

Further to the earlier message, this combination of stars is pretty interesting:- If Moutain Star #2 and Water Star #7, the significance is:- "Enjoy good wealth during period 7. However, great wealth will result in possible romance. Beware of someone using kindness or romance to cheat you of your wealth." Hi Mary, Finding work is probably work itself. I know many many people who do not practice Feng Shui and still are able to find good jobs. Here are some of my suggestions to enhance your luck with work. 1. Get educated. Beats working for McDonalds and settling into a career that you enjoy doing will take you to success. 2. Go for a make over. Change bad habits, create a positive attitiude. Be confident in yourself and if needs be, get a nice hair cut and upgrade your clothes. 3. Aim for the top. Companiesneed tolook at you as a valued worker rather than a burden to the company. 4. Excercise. Keeping yourself in good shape and good health will improve the soul. 5. S…

Frankly, there is no such thing as writing one liner and your answer(s) spring into action. Like all other disiciplines: you have to do or get someone to do it for you:- Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. In life, you have to go through a triage else might as well throw a dice or flip a coin.

Hi Master Lee, Thankyou for replying and providing some logical explaination. I have another question. So,when living inhigh rise building (such as houses in Hong Kong or Singapore) wheremost of the apartments have their doors in theenclosed area, eg 4 unit facing common area with lifts landing and with bedroom windows facing open space / swimming pools; under such environment, does it mean that qi entering the house through the window is much better than through the door? Thanks, Tim

Dear Ang, The Eight House Theory can only be used to tell whether one is located in a good or bad sector, how suitable a house to a person. For more accurate determination of the house chart, one has to use time dimensions such as the Flying Star analysis. It is common for everyone to try to enhance their good or auspicious sectors. But one has to look at it from another angle: one has first to locate or neutralise bad sectors. Only after this is done, one should consider enhacing good sectors. It is just like a house with poison arrows aimed at the main door. One can do lots of enhancements etc... but inauspicious effects are still there. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Thank you, Cecil. I know it's tough to answer my question like that. I just wanted to make sure that even if it doesn't help enhance/cure, it will not be a diaster or backfire to do it either. Thank you once again. Tam

You wrote: a. Ways to improve on my financial condition. Am staying with parents at Jurong West. House main door sitting at northwest. My bedroom door also at northwest. Sleeping position - head on southeast, leg at northwest. Other than shifting to a suitable house, what is the most effective way to enhance it? Feng Shui is a holistic approach. And since you are an occupier or treated as a tenant even in your parents home; there is very limited scope of enhancement given that yours is a tiny room. I believe, you did mentioned to me that your parents are against having a Feng Shui audit. And in the sample attachment, Micro Feng Shui is about mapping out the entire layou…

Dear Kuah Huang, In Feng Shui cures, one of the best remedies is to use six ancient Chinese coins with square holes in the center. The six coins are tied together with a red string. They are usually hung at the top of a wall or on a curtain, as shown in the picture. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Robert I understand that my wealth element is wood. So, does it help if I have some small potted plants in my working place? What other advice would you give? My house is also painted green (majority) as advised by Cecil as this colour and blueareconsidered in harmony with all the members of my family, i.e. strong earth dragon, strong metal rabbit, weak water pig and weak wood monkey. Does this (painting) help in my wealth luck? Cecil also advised that it's better for us to fly to Period 8 East 2/3 facing. We have repainted our house and also invited the lion dance to perform at our house during the Chinese New Year. While our main entrance is located at the Northwes…

I was recently retrenched http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_cry.gif and have not been able to find a job. Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of employment? I belong to the Kua group of 4 and I live in a period 7 house NE1 facing. I cannot put any water elements in the house as my husband is of a strong water element.

Dear Oliv Sullivan, Oliv Sullivan wrote: I was just reviewing the Flying Star Report available on this website and see that for the month of August, 6 (good metal) is visiting the South, my example in the previous post. Could it be that this is actually the element/number that would remedy the 1-5-8 combination, at least for this month? My thought process is that the visiting 6 (good metal) would hold back the 5 (bad earth). Am I on the right track? Yes, that is correct. The Metal helps to create a Five Element flow. So for that month it helps to keep everything in balance. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Researc…

Dear Anon, Please read below:- Usually there are two method of looking at this. Firstly you must first determine that the star you are enhancing is a auspicious star. If it is an inauspicious star, then you will be activating it instead. Next, you have to make sure firstly that before you start enhancing that sector the elements are balanced. This means that if there is an inauspicious star destroying the auspicious star, you have to correct it first. After the correction, simply look at the element of the auspicious star, say water, then if the sector has very strong water influence, meaning there is already a metal star in the sector, then my recommedation is to use…

Dear Rameshwaran, Please see below:- 1. If it is the bedroom, then allow as much `clear space' around the centre area of the bedroom. 2. There is usually no way to squeeze out enhancements at sectors that one should not activate water positions e.g. in the bedroom. 3. This is equally similar to mountain stars - found. 3.1 For example: If a mountain star is found at the frontage of the house e.g. main entrance - as much as we would like to `activate' something e.g. a mountain star to activate luck -- this is not possible or feasbile. 3.2 "It is like placing a mountain at the frontage" of the house. Where water or clear space is required." 4. Therefore, it is best a…

1. The Flying Star concept uses the "Five Elements concept". And each Flying Star number is associated with the five elements. For example: #6 = strong metal and #5 = strong earth. 2. The 20 Year Flying Star Feng Shui In general each sector (North, South, East, West...) etc has three numbers; MS# W# B# (Mountain, Water, Base or Palace star). 3. When applying the Flying star, one should be looking strictly on the Flying Star numbers. Thus even in the West sector, if there is a double #8 then the rule of Flying Star applies that if this is the frontage a "proper water" position can be considered. 4. For simplicity, can understand that strictly North = Water, East = Wood…

Dear Les Paul, In a home, these are some guidelines: 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, where possible, a water position is often or may / could / most likely can be placed in an open space area such as e.g. outside the frontage or in the living room area. 2. Under Flying star Feng Shui, try to check where is the water star #8 , in addition to Para 1 to see if a water position can be placed, there. For example, if the water star WS#8 is in the bedroom, then, one should not place a water feature, there. 3. While #8 is the current prosperity, one should take extra care not to drown locations such as MS #9 with water. Since #9 is considered in this age (Period 8) as th…
