Frankly, if you are so interested especially in Flying Star numbers, please go and take up a course on it. Katrina L. wrote: Cecil, What does each base star number represent? I only know that base star number 1 represents water. How about the other base star numbers? What is the significance of each base star? How does it affect each sector of the house? Is it less important than the mountain star number and water star number? I know these are a lot of Qs again. Hope you can further explain to me. Thanks much.

1. Usually it is difficult to provide an exact comment based simply on several lines of text. 2. You mentioned that the door is NW. Do a search under this forum and you can find discussions or concerns of a kitchen located within NW. 3. Usually a picture of the ocean on the wall is not good for Feng Shui of the kitchen unless: the kitchen is located in the South compass direction of a home. In general it is worse off if the picture is located in the North compass direction of a home. If in doubt, remove it, first. 4. Frankly, it is never good to do just piecemeal or "fast food" feng shui as many other considerations such as drawing up a Flying Star chart; knowing you…

No, the amount of renovation done may not be considered as being flown to Period 8. Katrina L. wrote: Cecil, This year: 1.we changed some part of the roof since the roof is old and we have been experiencing leaks from the rain. 2. changed the kitchen floor tiles and painted a new color on the walls of the kitchen 3. painted new color on the walls of the master's bedroom which we now turned into gym room 4. painted new color on the walls of the living and dining rooms. So, would you consider our house newly renovated and now under period 8? Or is our house still under period 6? Please advice. Thanks!

No, as it is covered up. The test is usually, from inside the compound of the home, can one see the drainage. For all landed properties, often, there are two exit points that "will bring wealth" depending on whether water flows to the left or right of the house. And often, a third exit point can bring "power and authority" to the home owner. If not sure, try to seek expert help from a Feng Shui professional. Thanks.

1. Planting an orange or lemon tree has more to do with modern western "practises" than traditional Feng Shui. 2. In addition, especially during the communist take-over of China, many Chinese fled to either Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Far East. 3. In the far east, especially in Singapore and Malaysia, the climate is too warm to support both orange and lemon trees. 4. You mentioned:".... it said something about husband will have a roving eye when you placewater feature on the right side (your inside looking outside)." I believe if you do a SEARCH in this forum, you can find lots of articles or past forum message(s) on this topic and/or check out some of the "preventive" meas…

1. It is good to hear u have an airconditioner with the ion cluster (often the settings include "shooting out" all negative ions, or " a blast of positive plus negative ions). 2. Try to go for the modern method. However, if one is concerned with aircon bills, then there are relatively good "air-cleaners". No point having an aircon, with such a feature and if the aircon is rarely use. 3. Imagine, how wonderful it would be like if one can stay near the vicinity of a water-fall such as Nigara falls or Victoria falls. (Not so much of people jumping down them to commit suicide; but rather) the idea of a waterfall is that such "furious" water frictions with the air to create …

Please refer to my most recent reply to your last message. In modern times, with our knowlege of what positive and negative ions can and cannot do. And with the common use of silver nano technology - found in some high end washing machines and even can be found embedded into plastic containers... ain't these a better bet than relying on "older" Feng Shui cures? Katrina L. wrote: Hello Cecil, I am wondering if we can use the salt cure to suppress the #2 illness and #5 yellow star? Thanks.

Further to what I had mentioned, in a case of a middle house or even shop-house, but if this middle shop-house is facing a T junction, then it will be affected by bad qi. Please see picture, under the url below:- http://www.geomancy.net/events/ExxonMobil_FS_Talk/em_talk_1_slide_21.htm

You can still use the proposed centrepoint and extend this to the family room. The rationale is because your "extended" room is tiny compared to larger spaces. However, if your "extended" room size is larger than 1,000 sq feet, then you can determine the centrepoint separately for this room.

Yes, definitely, as you have already noted, the significance of each #number is different under Period 8. Quote: However, in the past 5 years, I've been sickly. I wonder if this has to do with period 8 which started in 2004 and will end in 2024.

Appended by Cecil: Sorry did not see the attachment to this posting. Thank you. Hello, I am writing to you from the United States and need your advice. I've attached a picture of the home and the floor plan. Via the Eight house chart, the optimal main door position is SE. N, E, S are also relatively good. The house was built in 2002 and the front door is facing due east. I could not edit the floor plan to show due north. 1. How do I find the center of the home. It is an "odd" shape and not your typical square or rectangle. 2. Also, at the front of the house, as you can see from the floor plan and picture, there is a large water fountain. Is that bad feng shui for me? …

1. OIC, it is a copper bowl (either medium or large). 2. Usually in general favourable dates to Chinese are either 15th day of each lunar month or 1st day of each lunar month if you do want to consider "activating" it. 3. Alternatively, you can check out your personal good dates for the next thirty days for free at the following URL:- dates.geomancy.net

1. Locally, in Singapore, as we have 4 major religious groups; especially for multi-nationals and small to medium sized businessess; if these business deals with the "public" at large, often if not, such a figurine is never displayed in an office. (Perhaps also due to the respect of other religions e.g. Muslims, Hindus, Catholics/Christians, etc.. 2. In Singapore, such figurines are often displayed within a home e.g. the living room.. and seldom in an office as mentioned earlier unless the office itself deals with such objects or figurines directly. 3. These are some of the considerations when placing a buddha figurine in an office:- 3.1 Usually, it is large, it should…

1. Bigger picture where qi is suppose to come-into the home: Then under Flyng Star Feng Shui, one should determine where is the most "yang" qi that enters into the home. 1.1 Here, it may either be the main door i.e. standing inside the main door taking a reading out or usually it is the row of windows often with the most rooms where often again, the living room windows are. 2. For the interior layout plan, one should if possible look at some of these considerations: 2.1. Try to avoid kitchen especially the stove at North-West compass direction. Here, it is the centrepoint of the home, taking a reading towards NW direction. 2.2. Eight Mansions / Eight House to find hom…

Challenge 1: Yes, there are currently ready made altars that has both a roof and side panels and sufficient depth to shield the altar from the winds. Challenge 3: In addition, such an altar already has space built in below it for an "Earth god" Alternatively, one can get a carpenter to built a custom altar with the specific dimensions:- Standard height for any altar: 125cm to 128cm. If a piece of glass is to be placed on the altar, then go for 125cm. Width depends on your needs: 18cm to 23cm or 40cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm Length: 41cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm or 71cm or 89cm or 107cm or 148cm Challenge 2: Since, the entire wall at location marked B is pretty long,…

1. In general, it is acceptable to have a SMALL fish tank in the kitchen. 2. However, try to avoid the following:- 2.1. If the kitchen is at the North compass direction of the home; then it is best not to place the fish tank. 2.2. Try not to place the small fish tank directly opposite (facing) the stove. 2.3. Try to keep at least 1 feet distance between the small fish tank and the stove. Quote: Hi there! Would like to know if having a small fish tank in the kitchen is okay?

Yes, one will be affected especially by the m5 at that sector also. while w7 has more to do with "loss of wealth". Hopefully, your office uses "cool daylight" lighting above your work space. If it is "warm daylight" then, check to see if it is possible to "change" it. In addition, avoid bright yellow and bright red items such as file folders etc at your work space. Try to hang a set of six coins in your cubicle. And if possible, purchase one of those bronze hulu and place it at your work table. I just started work at a new office which is NW1 facing in Period 7. TheNW sectorthat I sit in has the following flying star: m5, w7, b8. In June, I fell very sick when the ye…

1. The most likely facing direction should be "apartment building that is elevated above street level and is facing the ocean" or the apartment building "facing" direction. 2. If the home has a "known" history e.g. if one has stayed in this home for several or more years, can draw a chart based on Para 1 and usually another chart (standing inside the main entrance door looking outside of the home). These two are the main defacto "facing" directions commonly used by all professional Feng Shui practitioners. Michael K. wrote: Hello Master Lee!, I've read all the posts as you advised on front facing direction, now I'm really overwhelmed.I live in a 3 story apartment buildi…

1. Feel free to use the free tools available in our website to check your ba zi information or your lunar birthdate:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 2. Recent years, someone discovered a writing in an ancient tomb with regards to interpretting whether one will have a baby boy or girl. In fact, there are many sites which had sprouted using this formula. Try to do a Search under Google or Yahoo for such sites. 3. Besides Para 2, some say the type of fruits one eat can help... etc... Good Luck!

Prominent Flower of romance can be said to "originate" froma home:- 1. Please take note ofsome of the characteristics of homes that may be affected by such activity:- 1.1. North-west sector of the home: Usually this type of home may have a missing corner at NW or NW is located at the kitchen area. And the rest usually has more to do with the male having an illicit affair. Under Flying star Feng Shui, the tell tale signs are usually the presence of #3 star at this sector. 1.2 South-West sector Again, it can be a missing corner or the arrival of #3 at that sector. 2. Having two or more stoves Having one stove at say the dry and another at the wet kitchen. And have a…

1. Kua numbers are often not used to analyse a sector (good or bad). 2. If possible, the best method is to apply Compass School - Flying star method in your home. 3. For example, if say the fireplace location has a #3 (Quarrels, conflicts etc). then inadvertently, "fire" as in the "fire-place fire" can help to neutralise this bad star(s). You see, some homes where there is a #3 at certain sector, some FS practitioners may recommend a fire element at that specific sector. This fire element can be in the form of a '24 hours' light or somethign red within that sector. 4. Therefore, the key success is not to apply general statements like: north = career etc.. but to do it …

1. Frankly, the two most commonly cited cases of concern with illicit affairs are: 1.1 Having a water position to the right side of thedoor. 1.2 Having two stoves in a home 2. As the mirror, will still reflect TWO persons' logically, there is no "lamp-post" or a third party reflected in the mirror. Thus the concern is more of having a photo behind the bed with 3 persons on it. Otherwise, what you had mentioned is not commonly mentioned that reflects "affairs". More likely, the concern is of having bad dreams or nightmares! Anonymous wrote: Hi Master, Thanks for your reply. What i heard is mirror in the room facing the bed will cause 'affair' - makes it very crowded…
