Dear Shifu, I would like to consult you on a property at the Marina Bay Residences condo, i need to know if it is a good or bad fengshui staying in this condo? Next to this condo is a financial centre. I hope to buy a 2-bedder, which the balcony faces the sea view instead of the bay view. Is it OK to buy sea view unit? The kitchen is right after the main entrance door, which is an open concept kitchen. Is it fine to purchase it? Thank you very much for your kind guidance and advice. awaiting your soonest reply Regards Ivylim

Dear Master, I recently rented out my condo to an European single expat lady. Then weird things start to happen. The fridge had a mini explosion within 5 days of delivery. The washing machine also broke down within 10 days of delivery. So unlucky!!! I seemed to have the impression that our birthdates/BaZi crash. Could this be possible? What can I do about such things? I mean since I can't possibly throw out my tenant, could I use some fengshui cures?? Thanks. Regards, Sean

In my opinion, you may have taken too large a shoe to fill. In your case, it is like in real life, you may have to employ a consultant for your project. This is a fact of life. Thus frankly, resources for your thesis, will not come with a silver spoon or any spoon. Good Luck.

1. Is the fengshui for this stacked building good for business? The lower levels are for retail and level 4 onwards are for office use. I am looking to rent an office unit there and wonder if it’s better to be on the lower stack or higher stack. 2. When you look out of the window, because the unit is at the zig zag stacked side, you’ll see an extra vacant space / platform that is higher than the inside ground of the unit. Is there anything wrong with this? 3. Is it correct to say if the unit does not share the same wall as the building toilet, is it ok?

Dear Anon, Actually, the gift of "chopsticks" isrelatively new. I hope, you don't mind me frankly letting you know:- In the past, it was not wise to lend or give chopsticks because of it has a similar sound like "zhu" or "halt". Thus is especially not good or an appropriategift. It is especially best to keep the gift or store it away. Nowadays, there is another set of "chopsticks" gift i.e. two chopsticks placed ontop of a bowl - kept in a glass display frame. This is again not favourable. This is similar to one praying to the dead ancestor i.e. it's offering to the dead. And this is thus also considered very inauspicious. Since chopsticks does not have any good mea…

A full Feng Shui audit is a holistic approach and covers something like:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F It does not involve colours alone. And D.I.Y. (do it yourself) is not for the novice. You may want to consider Professional Feng Shui help.

Dear Alberto, To find out more about the North South Debate, please click on this link: http://www3dglobe.com/fs/addsites.htm#SOUTH Currently, no one has shown proof of the validity of the South Hemisphere model. Feng Shui can equally be applied both in the North and South. I am living in a south facing house. The house has two doors, the main door facing south and another door from the car park which is south-west. Just below the car park is the drainage which I feel is not auspicious. We have been having water related issues ver y frequently either leaks, water tank damages, pressure valve issues, drainage clogging etc. Also job wise not seeing growth, but having so much pressure too. I bought two fengshui mirrors through one of a friend's colleague who bought from China. Please advise where should I place these mirrors. I was thinking to keep one mirror inside the house after we enter from the car garage that has a drainage below and insi…

Dear Jason, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Thursday, May 27, 1999 10:39 AM Subject: Fengshui Of a un-occupied new house. Yes. As long as the building has four walls and a roof, an internal Feng Shui assessment can be carried out: 1. The Shapes and Form School can be applied to examine both the exterior and interior, and may be used at any stage—even before the building is completed—especially for assessing the exterior or the site. 2. Under the Compass School of Feng Shui, once the house is built, you can conduct a survey using a standard com…

Yes, as long as the pointed triangle roof is not facing a unit, that is fine. Some units that face the private estate have the master bedroom, second bedroom, and even the living room looking toward the pointed roofs of the landed properties. In this context, a ‘pointed triangle roof’ refers to a roof design where two sloping sides meet at a sharp angle, forming a peak or tip, much like the letter ‘A’ or a triangle. This type of roof is often seen in traditional houses and can create a clear, pointed shape. Examples include: 1. A-frame Roof: Both sides of the roof slope down steeply from a central ridge, creating a triangular profile when viewed from th…

Dear Master Cecil Lee, I have some enquiries on my new flat whichme and my husbandwill be collecting keys within this month. My floor plan as attached for your reference. 1. Do we need to have a divider/partition as our main door faces the balcony directly? 3. Is there anything you can point out to us that we should be aware of for this unit of ours? 4. Apart from the unit's fengshui, like to check, if I am currently pregnant, can I go and collect keys and proceed with the do…
