1. In my opinion, the biggest mistake of many is that often, missing corners are never over looked while it is often that protrusions are always missed. 2. Thus just try to check to see or confirm the above. 3. Since missing corners may be interpreted differently depending where the missing corner, is. 4. For example. major missing corner at NW may impact on two issues: luck from heaven 2. luck of the breadwinner. 5. Usually if the missing corner makes up to 33.3 percent of the total area, it should be considered as minor missing corner. Thus no further action is needed.

Dear Anon, There is some truth in what was mentioned: 1. Under the Imperial Carpentry, most chairs should preferabley have armrests. 2. The profile of the lamp shade is important consideration in Feng Shui: /\ / \ || A lamp shade should preferably be `pointed' upwards. This stands for progress. Circle lamps are also considered good Qi generators i.e. light is considered generally good in Feng Shui. If one wants to use five light bulbs, it can be circular in shape and can either be made of crystal, glass or plastic. The material is not as important. Avoid lamp shades or lighting hanging in an upside down position: || \ / \/ This firstly looks like a poison arrow. Secondl…

Dear Hoa Luong, In the sample, the compass direction pointing North. Here, if the facing direction is North, then take the orientation of North as the compass marking. Since the home is orientated North -- South, determine the facing direction by checking e.g. where is usually the main entrance or drive-up area. In your sample, the facing direction can only be either North, South or also East or west. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kem Chong, Please see below:- To `test' whether this is a Sha Qi or poison arrow, try to stand at the main entrance facing out of the house. Is the fire hydrant tangent to your main entrance i.e. slicing the main entrance? If no, then it is not a poison arrow. Especially if it is at one side. Does the storm drain approach your main entrance directly? If not, then this is also not a poison arrow. Perhaps, you can first confirm the above. This should not be an issue especially if (if I read correctly) that both are on different floors. In order to have a direct line, the man entrance should be on the same line of sight as the master bedroom door on the same lev…

Hi, It is ok to have marble on the floor. Murals for decoration are fine. Provided it is not a water scenery covering the entire mural or of `hungry', prowling animals. It is quite uncommon in most regions to have murals on the ceiling. Frankly it is also new to me so at this point unable to comment further. Warmest Regards, CEcil

Dear Anon, For the Jacuzzi, please take note of the following:- 1. It must not be at the centre-point of the house. 2. One wall of the toilet should share the same wall as the exterior wall. This is to ensure that it cannot be at the centre of the house. 3. If the person's element is Strong Water or Weak Fire, best to avoid owning a jacuuzi. 4. The size of the jacuuzi plus the toilet area must not be equal to the size of the bedroom. The bedroom must be bigger. The jacuuzi must not exceed 33.33 percent of the entire `floor area' of the bedroom plus the toilet together with the jacuzzi. Warmest Regards, Cecl

You cannot simply use Feng Shui for every excuse! For example; it is lame for a barber to say " after cutting your hair, you will have better Feng Shui". What BULL! (bullshit)... Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Cutting hair and feeling comfortable or feel good has more to do with one's self - man luck or human luck feel good factors.

Dear Anon, Further to what I had mentioned, most of us are aware of the Holy trinity of Luck. Often, the third dimension: Human Luck or Man Luck can pull down our luck especially if there are frequent quarrels in a home or unhappiness. Therefore, besides, Heaven Luck, and Earth Luck (Feng Shui), harmony in a home can help to boost one's luck at home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kristinna, In general, if you are using the Eight House Theory or East/West Group theory; it is a very general theory to find out your general best direction(s) or a good intangible location. Other than that, if the location is considered inasupicious under the Eight House, the only way is to stay further from the line of inauspcious influence. Other than this, you cannot do much if you continue to `occupy' this location. Other more advanced Feng Shui techniques such as the Flying Star are usually used together. The Flying Star can be used to `trouble-shoot' or fine tune the Feng Shui Audit further. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. These are some of the considerations:- 1.1. If one is a salaried worker and not involved in the planning or future planning of office sitting arrangement. There is relatively nothing much one can do, here. 1.2. If oen is a sole proprietor of the business; would normally or may have good earth luck by renting or owning a good premise(s) and a good sector (even if the facing direction) is not favourable. 2. Frankly, for the Eight House concept: it is nice-to-have working in a good sector (especially Flying star sector)and even equallynice-to-have seating facing a good direction. 3. The Eight House concept offers: no cure: It is eitheror not and no if's or but's. For …

Usually, the most obvious concern of this home is the 'T'junction that you had mentioned. In particular, the most vuneral part of the home is to check whether the main entrance or windows are "exposed" to this 'T'junction. If the main enrnace door or windows are exposed towards the 'T'junction, a cluster of bushes may not be as effective. Usually, the most effective is a "solid" wall or fencing would be better or safer. So long as one does not as yet stay in the new home, anytime of the year is OK to start renovations. However, if one has already moved-in; best for this year to avoid renovations especially at the NW (Grand Duke location which is the main door) and Wes…

Hi, In my opinion, this may not be exactly true. What I understand is that although we can `classify' certain music as belonging to more Yang or more Yin, we cannot fully apply it to our real life: 1. We need rest and time for work. At a state of rest or relax, I am personally not sure if some of us like to listen to more vibrant (Yang) or relaxing (Yin) music. This depends on the individual. 2. I believe most of the music are new invention or commercial works and do not represent classical music. Under the short article I wrote at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/music.htm I mentione that Barque music e.g. Vivaldi's Four Seasons etc... when played can relax a person's heartbea…

Dear Anon, 1. Usually the hauntings is at a Yin location. For example, the North-East (Devil's Gate) or South-West or West or anyother locations that are influenced by Yin elements. Examples of Yin influences include large number of plants or a tall lone tree outsie the house. 2. Another method is to look at the Flying Star numbers and relate it to each specific trigram and their significance. For example, under the trigram interpretation, you could find: rope, young person, red. Here, you may find that a young lady who wore red was hanged at the specific location. This feature would be included in this website computerised report. 3. Some of us may through our six sense…

Dear Janaki, From a Shapes and Form point of view under Feng Shui, yes, it is inauspicious to have a toilet door facing the main entrance. This is usually a fundamental flaw and difficult to correct. The only option to REDUCE the effect is to see if the toilet door can be `partitioned' away from the view of the main entrance. Try as we might, sometimes it is difficult to `cure' fundamental flaws in the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Anon, I have just moved in to a house with the exact same combinations as yours. Main Door is East. I have put in the relevant cure for it. So although it is not so good, but it is neutralize. On another note, I am occupying the fading prosperity sector as my room. If you look hard enough, this is a good sector. You can activate the mountain star. With this combination, the occupier will derive great financial skill and leadership(esp good in military). I have yet to see this ;) but I hope it won't be long. So far, I have implemented the relevant cures throughout the house, activate the relevant mountain stars. The key here is to balance all the imbalance elements. O…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Based on a couple's birth details, is it possible to tell whether a particular year is a good year for them to purchase a new house, property? The ba zi can only tell you what luck you are supposed to enjoy in any particular time and period. This is often used to check whether it is a good date, good month, good year etc. So you can make use of it as a guide whether this is a good or bad year to own a property etc. However, purchasing a home is only one aspect. Finding a good hosue that fits the family and has good overall feng shui luck is more important. This is because the house luck can adversely influence your ba zi given luck. Thus, fi…

These are some considerations: 1. This East/West person is just the tip of the iceberg. 2. Thus there are even greater mass below the waterline. 3. For example: Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and even Flying star. And yet, these are not considered as yet;how then can you prematurely claim or cry wolf. 4. Often, it takes three or more major leaks or imperfections to cause a calamity; and most or majority of homes are not a bad that you seem to thing. 5. Thus without a TRIAGE how the hell do you know the situation.
