Dear Anon, Thanks for the information. I have not fully analysed the paragraph in details. As the animal sign (Horse: one of the 12 Chinese `Zodiac' Animals can be further analysed as either Yin or Yang and further sub-divided into the various elements. Dear Anon, This is a very interesting question: 1. I recalled one Australian Feng Shui practioner was doing an experiment (not so much of Qi) movement but rather how water is drained from a water pipe. She `found' that water drains from the water pipe, I forgot whether it is clock-wise or anti-clockwise. She `found' that this was difference from the North Hemisphere. Dear Jane, Most users are aware to avoid digging up the earth especially at the East. This is based on the " Tai Su " or Grand Duke Theory. Grand Duke actually refers to the `gravitational pull' of the largest planet circing the Sun i.e. Jupiter. Did you dig earth at the East side of the house. if so, one way to neutralise this is to use `metal'. For example, if it is possible place the car between the digging and the house. Dear Jojo, Grateful if you can elaborate further what you mean by wealth stars. This is because traditional Feng Shui do have the mountain and water stars. Mountain star can be activated to improve luck. I can recall many incidents where if the mountain star is activated correctly, can increase the luck element. Dear Anon, In my opinion, this statement is not correct for the following reasons: 1. Under the most common compass school of Feng Shui, there is no mentioned that one cannot do FS e.g. under the Eight House (8 sectors) or Flying Star 24 sectors. Here, there is always directions of reference on SE or NW. 2. Prior to the FS audit, many FS Masters/Practioners are not aware of the direction of a house/office until they visted it. Dear Anon, It is acceptable to use a beaded curtain in replacement to a screen. Both serves the same purpose. 1. So far, I have seen very few houses where a particular sector needs to be `kept quiet' under the Flying Star chart. In such a senario, a beaded curtain is not advisable. However, the chance of `meeting' such a situation is not common or the probability of encountering it is lesser. 2. Dear Anon, 1. It depends on the shape/profile of the arched window. Usually if it is a semi-circular arch, above the door, window, this is still considered an auspicious shape. 2. One way at looking at it is that the semi-circular shape, pointint towards the sky does not have any impact as it cannot be considered a poision arrow pointing towards a position or room. 3. Dear Anon, There is much truth in this statement: 1. Grass or grass that is regularly `trimmed' is the near equivalent to a water position. The logic behind it is clear. Grass allows the space to be flat and clear of obstructions. 2. If one plant a tree, in no time, it will outgrow its size and become large. It is inauspicious particularly to grow a lone tree on the side of a house. A lone tree in Feng Shui implies that the tree can harbour a spirit. Dear Anon, 1. Where possible, try to obtain `old' Chinese coins. It is plentiful as it is now being produced commercially (replicas) all over the world. 2. Where best, traditional Feng Shui uses these `old' coins. 3. In Singapore, our new batch of $1 coins have a trigram profile and I recently used it in my home `to test' it out. Dear Anon, Thanks for bring up this interesting question. If I am not mistaken, if it is written somewhere, most likely, the author should have instead say that whenever star #2 and #5 meet (or viz-a-viz #5 and #2 meet), this is already considered an inauspicious water and mountain star. If one is doing a manual calculation and find that with these two stars, there is say a mountain star at this sector, do check the calculations again. Dear Anon, On reading your `concept' it sounds interesting. It is more a case of `desperately' trying to find a location to activate a mountain star. *No offense* I mean it as a joke. The above is considered a `flaw' concept. Dear Anon, I would advise you to place six coins on the middle beam only. I feel that this would be sufficient. In addition, the higher the beam the better. The rationale is because too much metal is not adviseable. It is best to exercise prudence. Furthermore, I am not sure how is the flying star of the sector/location.
