Dear Anon, Based on what you had described, this is not a "real definition" of such a leak. For this leak, it has to be a straight path from the main entrance door directlytowards the back or an opening. What you had described is thus a 90 degree turn from the main entrance door. Thus is not the same as above. It is best that you check for other "leaks" in the home, instead. Warmest Regards, Cecil Anonymous wrote: My front door opens into a narrow hallwaywall andturns to facethe back door which is a sliding door, so chi comes in and goes out. Dear Anon, 1. Since your home isWest 253 it is consideredunder Flying star Feng Shui as West 1 facing. 2. For many homes; it is always goodfor a Period 6 to analyse the variousFlying star chartsof Period 7 and also Period 8. Given that Period 7 is over; yourhome is best evaluated on thebasis of:- 3. Period 6 vsPeriod 8 Is Period 8 better than Period 6? Or is it better to try to remain as Period 8. For a West 1, home based on both Period 7 and Period 8; the Flying star charts are not too good. Thus, in general, it is still preferred to seriously consider boosting the earth luck based on a Period 6 chart. If your wealth star is locked in the centre, it is difficult t…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: could you please explain if the missing corners on the upper floor of a house are as detrimental as missing corners on the ground floor A missing corner is considered when more than 33% of the sector is missing when you view the house from the roof view. So normally if the missing corner is just on the top level, it is not really considered a missing corner as the bottom level still forms a complete square. Hope that helps. Hi, This is because, the stove is a very important part of the home. If you reason it this way, one should not have the stove in an inauspicious location. One cannot burn away `auspcious' or inauspcious luck by turning on the stove but rather, since it plays an important part of the home, one should have it at a good location. It is a tradition to try to have the stove at an auspicious location for the spouse and best that it suits her `Ba Zhi'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Persephone, This is `too general' a theory to use. What you need to consider are: 1. You should use the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui i.e. under the Four Symbolic Animals theory, make sure that the bed is in a `good' position. What is a good position? a. When you open the door to the bedroom, it is best that the bed is not seen directly. b. The `headrest' of the bed should have a proper backing of a `solid' wall and not placed against a window. c. You can make use of the free computerised Eight House module at www.geomancy-online.com to `draw' your Eight House Chart. Here, if you can sleep closer to an auspicious intangible force but bear in mind (give priorit…

Dear Jennifer, Usually, colors is secondary to Feng Shui, however it can ve viewed as follows:- 1. Intitutive or based on one's feelings. Here, one chooses (either consciously or unconsciously) colors that one likes in a room. 2. If one uses Traditional Feng Shui, then it can be based on two main factors:- 2.1 On the upper hierarchy, you have the Yin and Yang concept. Here, as usally the bedroom is meant more for rest than activity, it should be 'more' Yin than Yang. However, this may differ for a student living in a domitory. Here, there should be a balance between yin and yang so that the dorm can be at certain times, be used for `yang' activity such as studies, homewor…

Dear Harriet, Initially, you can use the Eight House Template to "map out" your rooms to check which sectors are auspicious or inauspicious. You can either use the web based html format at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm or Sign up for a free account at www.geomancy-online.com to create your Eight House Template. You can then check whether there is any inauspicious influences on the sector of the room. The Eight House can only check for the above and this is where it ends. This is because the Eight House Theory of auspicious or inauspicious influences does not take into consideration the Five Elements concept. Serious investigative work would include using the Flyin…

In my opinion, this has more to do with the "human factor" : feel. Since the septic tank is outside; and should it be a distraction to you; then often a simple day curtain or a roller blind could be used, here. Personally, I feel that if one is really into meditation; I would have thought that a good meditation is one where even in the middle of the highway island; one would still be at peace and still do productive meditation.

Dear Anon, This position, thou not `ideal' is still acceptable. This type of issues are ranked lower importance to many other more important points as discussed in this forum. Other more important issues include: 1. A person's suitability to the house. 2. Is the bedroom in an auspicious sector. 3. The toilets should not be located next to the front door, above the main entrance etc.. 4. The flying star chart of the house in relation to a person's Ba Zhi etc... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Daren, Yes, a clock is considered a form of Sha Qi especially if it faces your house through a window. You can apply the rule: If one cannot see the Sha Qi, it no longer becomes a threat. See if you can come up with something e.g. draw the curtain etc... Another consideration is the clock. The smaller the better. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mieke van der Wijngaart-van Dongen, In your case, whether there isn't much of a choice available to choose from. Then I would East would probably be the better choice. I mean at least directly behind is the sink rather than the toilet bowl itself. This is at least better than having a toilet bowl sharing the same wall as your bed. Furthermore, since it is your own toilet, you will be able to keep it clean, control keeping the toilet bowl cover down and keep the toilet door close when not in use. Often a home toilet will not be as dirty as a public toilet. The reason why toilet is considered least auspicious is often it is would be considered the most dirty place i…

Dear Anon, If one has both a wet and dry kitchen: 1. Where possible, in both instances, the stove should not also "clash" especially with the wash-basin. 2. Where possible, the stove in the dry kitchen should match the lady of the house's ba zi direction. 3. For the outside kitchen, it would be good if the stove match also Para 2. But not as crucial. 4. For the stove in the wet kitchen or usually "open air" area, it should be kept away from "gusts" of wind. Where possible, both stove must be supported by a solid wall or backing. 5. Avoid placing any of the stove along the NW compass direction of the home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Some Feng Shui practitioners `swear' by the use of lighting with Five bulbs. To them, they believe that it can neutralize Sha Qi at a location. In my opinion, here, the practitioners are usually, more of the Shapes and Form School practitioners. 2. While another school of thought usually those are more `mathematical' and uses more of the Flying Star, because of their `inclination' to look at No. 5 (misfortune). I believe these practitioners have a `deeper' association of no. 5 with misfortune and in my opinion, may tend to `avoid' the use of anything 5. 3. In my opinion, having seen lots of cases of problems relating to the centrepoint, I feel that : 3.1. If…

Hi Michelle, Firstly, you should know that Feng Shui isn't a mircle cure for all problems. Especially in your situation here for wanting to have another child. I think here that Medicine Science or taking Herbal Enhancers will give you more hope than relying on Feng Shui. In terms of your second e-mail. To know when would be the best time, that you can check your ba zi luck to see which year is best for you. I can give you a complimentary ba zi analysis which you can look at the 2005/2006/2007 forecast to check which is better. Please e-mail me support@geomancy.net with your member account and I will credit you a fr…

But when walking along the corridor leading to the main door of the flat, can see the back of a cremetorium and a temple. However, can't really see these 2 buildings from inside the flat. Also, I would like to know if it would be a cause for concern if the masterbed room and another bedroom is rather near the corridor of the next block of flats. As I need to reply the owner soon, would appreciate a prompt reply. Generally, if you can directly see the cremetorium or temple from your house, then it will be direct major concern. Otherwise, if you cannot see it it should be ok. But on a p…

Frankly, the procedures are not rocket science. And majority of the procedures are symbolic of "placing wealth into a new home". Personally, have already assisted many clients at least a few thousands with it. And many others have also DIY on their own. The procedures are non-religious also some clients add additional steps like bringing along their joss sticks or candles and "gold" paper.

1. Usually for such a question, it needs more indepth analysis. However, you did mentioned that the aquarium is at Northwest corner of the office. 2. Under the trigram, NW is = the head (male) of the household and thus affects your husband. NW is also where one of the most important trigrams in the modern ba gua chart = Heaven luck. 3. Since we do not have detailed information to work on, it is best to remove especially the most recent water feature. And avoid placing any more such things. Dear Marisol, Indeed, when performing Flying Star calculations, it is advisable to utilize the expansive terrace that offers a pleasant view as the front of the residence. This is because Flying Star Feng Shui is primarily concerned with the movement of qi into the home. Furthermore, this orientation appears to possess yang qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Marisol Colon wrote: I have a huge terrace that overlooks a huge amount of mountains and I can see the sea from 3 directions. I was wondering if I would use this as my front door?

Dear Anon, Usually, your office would have installed blinds. Simply draw the blinds and this is good enough : " if one cannot see it it no longer becomes a threat. As for the sharp corner of the pillar:- 1. from your illustration, it does not seem that the front pillar slices into the person. So should not be an issue. 2. furthermore, for a sharp corner in an office, usually after approximately 1 metre distance away from it, the sha qi is pretty weak. Even the two sha qi at the back of you should not be an issue. In addition, if one has a high chair, the two sha qi at the back is a non-issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, in the West, it is more common for Feng Shui practitioners to advice their clients to place Ba Gua mirror to counter-act Sha Qi. 2. In the East, or Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Far East, Feng Shui practitioners either advise on: 2.1. For many Feng Shui practitioners who have a religious background e.g. Toaism or Buddhism, would often advice their clients to place a Ba Gua mirror for `protection' on their door or many doors. Here, they even ask their clients to place certain `charms' above the doors. The charms are usually written on yellow paper and with red wordings or drawings. Alternatively, many use a Ba Gua with the twin picture of the two d…

Dear Lee Nah, Please see below:- Ideally, the stove should face inwards of the home i.e. the main entrance. Therefore, preferably, the knobs should also face inwards or upwards (neutral position). You have to determine where is the location of the kitchen. If the kitchen is at the North (compass direction), then it would be best for the kitchen to have a door. As North represents water, the kitchen should have sufficient warmth. But if the kitchen is at the South, (fire element) it is not necessary to have a door at this location. In addition, it is still ok for other directions (not to have a door). As mentioned above, for a North (compass direction/point) i.e. …
