Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Recently Idecided to place a 4-face Buddha in my garden &consulted 2 thai monks about the facing of 4-face Buddha. One said the main side (i.e. 2 legs)should be facing S-E, while the other said it should be North. Subsequently one Taoist priest say it should be West instead. Anyone can enlighten me on this. My house is front facing South with garden on the east (corner terrace). Frankly, it is unwise to seek advise from too many different people. As the saying goes, too many cooks spoil the broth. It is best you follow the adviseof the person you trust mostor the most reputablemonk since this is about the buddha. It is hard for me to advi…

Dear Edwin, edwin tay wrote: i'm a buddhist and we have a buddhist altar at home. i would like to find out if there is any implications if the buddha statue has suffered defects over time, eg, cracks, discoloration and missing corners. kindly advice. thanks! Generally, any type of statue will suffer from wear and tear. As long as it is not the face, it should be ok to keep it untouch. If it is really in a very bad condition, then you should consider to check with the buddhist monks to see if they recommend to replace it or not. Usually, they will be able to advise you better and also provide the necessary ceremony to help you replace it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regard…

Dear Samantha, Samantha Tieu wrote: I've been reading about Feng Shui and learned that my husband and I have KUA numbers (mines is 1 and his is 5) that just are not compatible. For example, the best position for my bed placement is North. However, according to the Feng Shui book, North is his total loss sector. I can't seem to find any type of remedy for this, should we have separate beds so that we have the best placements individually? Would this affect the marriage for feng shui purposes? This is a questions asked many times. Just today, I am already replied two other post. So please refer to this previous post for the answer:- URL: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum…

Dear Himai, Himai G wrote: I am a strong water person with wood influence. for control, i know i should use more 'earth' and 'wood' colors, items etc... what would help me for wealth? For a strong water person, fire element is your wealth element. So when you have sufficient balance of earth and wood element to balance your chart, then you want to have more fire element. Since five element can always be found around you, ie your home, your career, your colour, people around you. You can choose any area in your life to have some fire. ie say the colour of your car you can choose to have fire element. Or choose a career in sales/marketing which is fire element. You can re…

Actually, tomake iteasy to understand justfollow this:- Individual Elementis basically the type of element youare classified under. ie if you are a weak water, therefore your individual/personal element is weak water. Guardian Element (usually yong-shen/useful/helpful/favourable element) usually means the element that is will bring you luck or help you. So if you are a weak waer, therefore metal or water element are generally your favourable element. The element you lack more…

Dear FS Master, Thank you for the reply but I came across this situation where on the 11th floor balcony reading show 255-W1 but on the 10th floor balcony reading show 240-SW3. Is there such a possibility or it is because of electronicmagnetic field interference the compass needle. On the 10th floor when I stand in centre of the balcony (rectangular in size) with the compass 4-6 feet away from my body it's show 240-SW3 but when I take one step back it show 253-W1. I'm puzzle at this instance. May I know is there a step/guide in taking compass reading at the balcony. Appreciate your kind advice. Thank you

Hi, under the Eight House Theory, Interpreting the 'Intangible Force', it is mentioned that we overlay the Kua template of the houseowner onto the house plan according to the direction of the house. I am ratherconfused as it should be the'type' of house accordingto thedirection of the main door. So the eight directions will be at different location then. Canyou clarify?

Hi Master, I just moved my home & currently sleep facing a South-East direction. Quite often i have alot of dream in my sleep and my hubby has no problem. I heard some Fengshui saying that SE is a bad sleeping direction in general for all. Is this true ? If yes and my bed is actually a built in one, quite impossible to change direction, is there any way to counter act this ? In additonal, my toilet is @ the centre of the layout of my house. On the wall of the toilet facing my living room, i happen to make a wooden feature wall on it. Does it helps ? Appreciate your advise, thanks

Dear Edwin, edwin tay wrote: from my bazi overview summary, it says that my favorable career are from wood and water, but from my bazi-career page, it says my wealth career is earth while power career is metal. There are 3 types of career classification. 1. Career with Wealth 2. Career with Power and Authority 3.Suitable Career based on your favourable elements. Career with Wealth/Power and Authority isn't always favourable to everyone, especially for weak element person as their element not strong enough to control the wealth. It does not mean that you cannot venture into these career, just that in order to do so you need first strengthen your weak element. Often …

But this does show that this house is not as favourable to you. However…

Dear Jason, Quote: Quote: Master Cecil Lee ever said : 1. Apartment (2nd-7th level), main door facing direction. 2. Apartment (8th level and up), living room/balcony is the facing direction. 3. Landed property, facing of the frontage of the house. And I guess in order to get the correct compass reading FOR the Balcony, stand in the center of the Balcony like the Floor Plan.jpg attach together I really could not see the attached file you had attempted to send. As NNTP does not accept attachment postingsif I remember correctly. Any attachment is usually removed. You see the problem here is that flying star can be applied in may different types of frontage and for d…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I read this article which detailed out Flying Star nos. for year 2006 (fire dog year) - as in #8 (N), #3(centre) and so on. It went on to caution against the SE & S sectors and advised general cures for all directions, e.g. avoid red in SE, avoid metal in NW. As how good or bad depends on the stars interacting with the actual flying star of the house. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Lee, what element is a piano? Is it considered woodelement (because the outercasing and the keyboardis made ofwood)or metal element (because of the metalstrings inside) or water element(because it produces music)? In general, piano by itself is a furniture, depending on the material it is made the type of element can vary. However, when you use it to play music than the action is Water because it produces music. There isn't a real auspicious or specific feng shui location for piano location. It should be treated just as part of a furniture and place where it is most appropriate. ie usually close to the living room area for everyone/…

Thank you for your prompt reply. To further clarify on the same subject, there are eight kua according to the Eight House Theory. I agree that thefacing directionwhere the Qi enter the house is of utmost important. But before that we have to determine the kua of the house before we can apply the Eight House Theory. So, a house that sits on East (using the loupan to determine), it is the "chen" kua and thus we can apply, based on the Eight House Theory, the favourable and unfavourable directions based on the "chen" kua. Do you agree?

Dear Master, In many fengshui books, there is always mention of pillars and its problems. But how do we define pillar? On the left of attached photo is how my office building looks externally. I have marked an arrow pointing at something which looks like a pillar. The right photo shows what is behind the circled portion of the left photo. This is essentially a corridor and my office main door is facing the said wall (the red arrow points to my main door). Hence is it harmful or harmless that my office main door is facing this piece of wall? Especially if it seems to darken my stretch of corridor? Please advise, thank you. Regards, Sean
