Hi Master Cecil, I am looking for a used car. Supposedly black would be my preference but it has been sold out and I am left with one in red colour which fits my bill. But based on my ba zi report, red is my unfavourable wealth element. Should I not proceed with the purchase? I attach herewith some snippets of my bazi report. Your advice and help would be very much appreciated Thanks.

Part II: 20-Year Reigning Period: 8 (2004-2023) Block direction: S3 (195) Compass direction: 187.5 to 202.4 For units along 20, 19, 24, 23 and 28 and 27 and should it qualify for the above, can also be equally auspicious. Since, under Period 8, where these homes will be Period 8 homes: under this Flying star Feng shui, S3: mountain star is = #8 water star = #8 with base = 3 Implication: [8] & [8] - Prosperity, good wealth. Therefore, considered very auspicious under Period 8. For a #8 with #8 and base 3, facing the water position, do allow for clear space e.g. such as the balcony facing virtual water (clear space). For units that qualify under this area, DO not b…

Dear Edward, To confirm, if your birthdate is between 27 Jan 1952 to 13 Feb 1953, yes you are considered an East person. As 210 degrees is between 202.5 degrees to 247.4 degrees, this is considered the South West Sector. (Under this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm at Step 6: Determine the direction of the main entrance door, you can make use of the table to determine the range also). Unfortunately, South West has the `disaster' intangible force for an East person. In an unusual state of mind, a development occurs; specifically, an Executive Condominium (EC) such as Twin Waterfalls approaches the critical threshold of legal completion. In this instance, Twin Waterfalls EC began to inform their subsidiary proprietors just in time before the 7th of July, 2015, which marks the date of legal completion. It is of no consequence if the physical keys have not been distributed to everyone. As long as you have been informed of the completion, please contact me to arrange for the collection of your keys. However, hold on... are you planning to collect the keys tomorrow? I apologize, but your turn is scheduled for next week! …

Hi master, we are considering a home and have learnt about the importance of Southwest corner for female of the house. We recently visited a house and love everything about it, except that we noticed a missing corner at southwest of the home (near door entrance). Seeking your advice if we should be concerned about it or there are remedies we could take? Thank you

Dear Marisol, Indeed, when performing Flying Star calculations, it is advisable to utilize the expansive terrace that offers a pleasant view as the front of the residence. This is because Flying Star Feng Shui is primarily concerned with the movement of qi into the home. Furthermore, this orientation appears to possess yang qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Marisol Colon wrote: I have a huge terrace that overlooks a huge amount of mountains and I can see the sea from 3 directions. I was wondering if I would use this as my front door?

Dear Anon, Since you have the alternative method, and since the date of birth is available, why don't you check it out for yourself. If I am not mistaken, it should also come to the same `Li' or South trigram. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yang Ming, 1. Usually, in a small island like Singapore, you're surrounded by the sea on every side. 2. Depending on where you are, the way the sun heats the land (which gets hotter) compared to the sea, along with changes in high and low pressure, can cause air to move from the land to the sea and the other way around. 3. As a result, air can come in from either side of the house. 4. However, if a bunch of windows or the main door is shut, air can't flow in from one side of the window to the other. 5. If air is only coming in from one part of the house, especially in a new build, it might mean that air is being pulled in from the building's …

Hi Cecil, I forgot to mention in the previous email that the the ceiling of the entire bedroom is a sloping (reversed V-shape) ceiling. Someone suggested that hanging a crystal to the aircon vent is one of the fixes? Will that work? Also, would a poster bed with 4 pillars be an alternative fix (the cloth on the pillars block the cold air from blowing directly to the head)?? Please help! Many thanks!!

Dear Sudha, Please see below:- Glad that you found the information useful:) The most important points to consider when using the Eight House is: 1. How suitable is the house to the breadwinner. As you have mentioned you can take into consideration your elder sister as the breadwinner. Preferably, the death or disaster intangible forces do not flow thru the main door for her. In this case, it is considered that the house is not suitable for her. 2. For yourself, it is less of a concern other than to check which locations you spent most of the time at. For example, where best, the inauspicious intangible lines do not flow thru your bedroom. Check out for the rest o…

Sleeping position - head on southeast, leg at northwest. Other than shifting to a suitable house, what is the most effective way to enhance it? Feng Shui is a holistic approach. And since you are an occupier or treated as a tenant even in your parents home; there is very limited scope of enhancement given that yours is a tiny room. Dear Maria, From the perspective of the Flying Star Compass School, it is advisable to identify the Water Star. For instance, during Period 7, the position of water wealth corresponds to the Water Star = #7. Additionally, during Period 7, it is common to hear references to "double 7's". If you have reviewed some of the discussions in this forum, spanning from several years ago to last year, you will find that this is the optimal location for activating the water star. In Period 8, make an effort to determine the location of the water star #8. If one has even a slight understanding of what I am "referring" to, it is advisable not to inquire about "…

Dear Anon, It depends on the distance between your main entrance vs your neighbour's (partial) wall. Often, 3 metres distance away is acceptable. Usually, it is best not to be too close because sometimes, the corner of the wall is like a poison arrow aimed towards your main entrance door. And secondly, it is often not too good because qi (air) flow is not smooth. What could be worse are the new generation Punggol flats. Some of these are corner units and the corridor wall is aimed directly into the homes. Depending on the situation, sometimes, potted plants can soften this effect. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. I believe that what you are inquiring about is quite "academic". 2. To be honest, there will be an endless debate regarding the merits of one method over another. 3. In my view, having numerous clients; some of whom have sought earlier consultations with different practitioners and second opinions; I have come across various charts. 4. From my understanding, among the practitioners in Singapore; many utilize the Pie chart method, myself included. 5. Why? 5.1. The Pie chart is particularly well-suited for landed properties, as many of these structures tend to be elongated and rectangular in shape. 5.2. At a glance, the practitioner can iden…

These are further considerations:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=29725&new=), 1. By coincidence from now to 2023, based on Flying Star Feng Shui you are lucky that South is ranked 2nd only to SW and NE. And North ranks much lower. 2. From the above article, do take note that SW and NE not mentioned by you has the best Feng Shui. 3. Facing an open space where a bird can fly freely is also considered VIRTUAL water. 3.1 And not necessarily do or die must face the sea. Think about it. 4. In addition, you are also missing another factor: How suitable is the apartment to you? 5. In my opinion, if you happen to be an East group pers…

Dear Anon, This link has a short write up of the origins of the Japanese Cat:- http://www.bekkoame.or.jp/~ys-trade/CAT.HTM Source and credit: (The above site) The Origin of Happy Cat(Fortune cat) The origin of the Happy cat (fortune cat) dates back to the end part of 1780's in Edo(Tokyo). The happy cats have been considered to beckon and welcome customers to the shops by rising its hand (Please note, in Japan, the gesture such as happy cats do means beckoning somebody forward.) and thanks to this, shop, especially restaurant, must do a goods business with so many customers. On the other hand, at the firm village, happy cat was sometimes placed at farmers house as a guard…

Dear Chandra, A hallway does not create Sha Qi (negative Qi). However, because of its shape, Qi cannot properly circulate. The most common remedy by many Feng Shui practititioners (provided the hallway is not too narrow) is to place plants spaced out along the hallway to `slow' down the Qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Master, Are there any units in this project that is good? I am initially considering the stack that is facing Tenet EC and seems like there is potentially 2 big poison arrow from the 2 blocks in that development facing this stack (circle in blue). Thanks
