Hello Currently iam planningtohave a second baby. Myself& my boyare horse. My husband is a Goat. Actually i had plan to have my second attempt this year. But iheard that this Rooster year is not good for having baby. So i read up on the Dog characteristic and come to know that the Dog is an eternal worrier. One who worries over everything. Theni check on the Pig. But the poor pig is always being"eaten" by others; especially those bornnear year end. Now,the question is which is a better year to have baby ~Dog year orPig year. And also the better months for delivery if possible. With my age, i can't wait much further. Thanks.

Dear SM, S M wrote: Which directions should I use for placing feng shui cures? for egs, the direction for career is north, where as in the bagua the front middle portion is for career, (which as per my house is east). Which is should I use to place the cures for enhancement? So for egs, for career, where should I place my cure??? Frankly, Feng Shui should be applied in a wholistic manner rather then just to find which is my wealth, career, health etc. Then seeking ways to enhance individually. Improving one's feng shui is simply firstly knowing about like what is the kind of given luck, enhacing your earth luck, and finally your human luck. A. Given Luck (Heaven Luck) …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: my bedroom door faces the bathroom door is this bad? if yes, do you know a cure for this one? Generally, where possible most people will want to avoid having a bedroom door faces a bedroom door. Unless you have the ability to alter the door position, then the only other practical advise is just to keep the toilet door closed when not in used. Anonymous wrote: what if the bedroom is above a garage? The only issue is that it is like there is a missing corner or no support if your bedroom is above the garage. But it isn't really that bad just that if you can avoid such a situation of course it would be better. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My personal element is Strong Metal and suppose stay in a house facing east and house element is Wood. On contrary, inthe destructive cycle, isnt it strange that there is a clash with my personal element Metal against house element Wood ? This is confusing and please explain further. Metal destroy Wood. Under the ba zi the element your self can destroy is your wealth. This is actually a productive cycle. Thus, if you have a house facing East, this is a Wood house. Thus, this is considered under your bazi as your wealth element. The destructive cycle you are talking about should be Fire destroy Metal. If you face South for example, this would b…

Dear Cecilia, We recently received a gift from a China friend. Its a sword made of ancient coins of Chencang. We like to know where is the best place to put it? If we put it in the study room (any direction) is it OK? Is it true that if you put this sort of ancient feng shui item in the wrong position will bring in more harm than good? I would appreciate your advise. Thank you. Regards, Iris

Dear Anon, Quote: Some so called "wise" people remarked on house that if main door is located at bad sector, it should be relocated to a good sector. Then my bathroom/toilet which is in the good sector must be relocated to bad sector in order to suppress the bad "qi". Also my kitchen which is in the rear of my house (good sector) should be moved to inner aprt of my house (bad sector). All these of course will mean huge cost to rennovate. Any one has any comment? Xie-Xie.(thanks) In terms of suitability to sector and house etc. Of course it is ideal to be able to have the luxuary to be able to relocate the various rooms so that it will be favourable for you. It sounds to …

Hi, I am new to Fung Shui, sorry if I ask silly or old questions. I live in a one bedroom apartment with an open kitchen. 1. As soon as I open my main door, I see my kitchen and stove. 2. I initially thought mymain door was facing south but in fact it faces North East (i.e. when exiting - I will face north east - correct?). 3. Myapartment is small so I can't put a divider in between the main door and kitchen. So what should I do to prevent the chi going out? Goldfish? Wind chimes? Bamboo sticks? I have been becoming ill lately and not getting along with people. I was born in the year of 1979 year of the Ram. Please help! Thanks in advance! MM

Dear Rachel, Rachel Rachel wrote: In addition to my first point, I'd also like to add that the binding elements between me and my husband is Earth and Wood, so does that mean that I also have to try and incorporate some Earth into the room as well, to satisfy the advice given by the Flying Star Paid Report, and also to satisfy the favourable elements of each of us, and the binding elements for all of us? Please advice! Thanks! Yes, first balance the flying star. Then, you can add a little of additional colours from like bedsheet etc. If only one person is staying in the room, then choose colours he/she lacks. If more than one person is staying in the same room, then …

Hello, I have a big dilemma. We purchased a home a year ago, S2 Period 7, house was built in 1952, however, the owner told us he had replaced the roof in 1995. Using your site & various good books, I made several changes & applied various cures. Things seemed to have calmed down for the whole family except my oldest son.He is doing well in school but has now had 2 car accidents, constant sickness, and we've noticed he's been drinking (alcohol) more lately. Have I made a mistake & should instead consider our house to be a Period 5? We really don't know whether the new roof was just placed on top of the old one or if it was totally taken off. How would you sugges…

Dear Janet, Anonymous wrote: In my home the toilet is above the main entrance, I have been told that this symbolises wealth running out of the home, is they any way i can cure this? thank you from janet Yes, toilet above or beside your main door is considered a major feng shui leak for a home. There is very little you can do about it unfortunately. However, under the traditional feng shui, it is said that having a Chinese Hulu (bottle gourd) can help to attempt to trap wealth before it leaks out of the home. Also keeping the toilet seat cover close will minimise the wealth leak. These two can only help to reduce the wealth leak. There is unfortunately not much else you …

Dear Wilson, Wilson Chan wrote: I have only recently taken up Feng Shui as an interest. It occurs to me that, in southern Australia, it's common sense to have the living areas facing North to receive the warmth of the Sun; in opposite to countries like China. So how should I interpret Feng Shui when it comes to positions/direction? There are many discussions on this issue. However, from our experiences, we find that you should not need to reverse the feng shui concept for the Southern countries. Just apply the concept as it is. We have done numerous analysis for the South and find that there is no need to make any changes or modification to the feng shui theories or con…

Dear Vikki Dufall, Vikki Dufall wrote: Is there anyway that we could counteract this so that someone will finally buy our house? I am sorry, but Feng Shui is not a miracle cure all for every problem. In this case, there isn't anything you can do that will make a house sell. Whether people buy a place all depends on the location of the home. So there is nothing you can do to just make it sell overnight. You should depend on your real estate agent to help you sell it, pricing it right, list out the benefits of the homeetc. In terms of what you can do to boost up the luck for a potential sell are:- 1. Improve you own luck. ie if you are a weak water person for example, th…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: 1. Is adding a men-made waterfall at northern house corner which is at left hand side of main door auspicious? Without doing a detailed analysis of your home, there is no way anyone can advise you whether it is good or not. This is only a free advise forum, as such I can only give you some guide to follow. If the flying star sector of your home at the Northern House corner, contains the auspicious Water star , then you can activate your auspicious water star with the water feature. You need to determine what is your current flying star ie period 7 or period 8. Period 7, then activating water star 7 or 8 will be favourable for you. If your hom…
