Dear Lindy, Frankly, it is a good idea to rebuild the home entirely. Since your friend knows the history of the site; where there is no major history of bad qi other than she has no "feelings towards" the old home. As mentioned earlier, it is always better to rebuild totally or at least if rebuild partially not to touch the frontage of the building. 1. Please note that burying a jar of holy water underground is not a traditional Chinese practise. Have we ever wondered what happened after the holy water dried up? 2. Dear Anon, 1. For those who have not done a proper FS assessment for a child's bedroom can:- 1.1 Depending on the age of the child, create a more yang environment. For example, if it is a young child of 3 to 6 years old can paint the bedroom in a bright colour and hang.. other decorations e.g. ABC.... etc... 1.2 The key essence is how the child is brought up. Dear Anon, Frankly, there is more reaons as to why you face problems. It is not just because of the car purchase. I am pretty sure there are other issues ie very bad ba zi luck as well as some bad feng shui stars that are working against you. For example, when you mentioned `killing' of animals, and one has strong buddhist beliefs, then one should avoid what you had mentioned below. 1. In my opinion, unless there is a specific "ceremony" or religious ceremony; or performed by a priest or high priest; 2. Otherwise, any ordinary folk painting a figurine or even "painting" the eyes does not constitute the above para 1. 3. Thus, in essence, any "Tom, Dick or Harry" that paints an eye on an object is a non-issue and does not convey a "religious" purpose.

Hi Cecil, I just received a land boundary/lot diagram of my new house. The land is wider in the back and makes an arrow pointed shape. I remeber reading in your resouce forum that this particular shape is inauspicious. I am attaching a picture for your reference.Theback of the houseslopes higher than the front as the housesitstowards a base of a hill, with slight elevation higher in the back. Dear Anon, If I get what you mentioned correctly, this is a `coffin position'. Yes, you can hang a curtain from the ceiling. So long as it covers the bed (leg) portion this is acceptable. You need to block it up to the level where you sleep on the bed. Further down e.g. the legs of the bed, this is not necessary. Warmest Regards, Cecil
