1. Please note that some sectors may be considered protusions and may not be missing corners depending on how one interprets more "complex" layout plans. 2. Usually, for a very important missing corner e.g. such as missing corner at NW (male breadwinner), one of the most common methods is the use of a "plain" concave mirror (as shown) in this url link below:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=10393&new= 3. Usually, mirrors inside the home is used to extend the look of the interior (making it look bigger). Thus not all walls is suitable for the mirror. Another common area of placing a mirror is next to the dining table. It would…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: could you please explain if the missing corners on the upper floor of a house are as detrimental as missing corners on the ground floor A missing corner is considered when more than 33% of the sector is missing when you view the house from the roof view. So normally if the missing corner is just on the top level, it is not really considered a missing corner as the bottom level still forms a complete square. Hope that helps. Dear Chloe, In my opinion, so far, to me, burying of three crystals a foot apart is something new. Some `authentic' Feng Shui practitioners had instead request to bury: the `Eight Treasures' of the buddha. Frankly, there is relatively no harm in burying crystals or coins with square holes in them. I believe, you have a garden. If so, a better alternative is to create a profile e.g. landscaping at the garden. Such that from a `helicopter view' one can see the profile or outline `neutralising' the missing corner. And at the corner of the missing corner, one can also consider installing a lamp. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Teo Choon Seng, teo choon seng wrote: My house has a missing corner on the north-west sector. I don't know if that is the reason, since beg of 2004, our living room ceramic tiles pop up on three occassions which have been repaired.Recently the nw sector ceramic tiles broken, and when I think back, my career path was like fallen down frm a ladder for the past 10 years.Do you have any suggestions for a cure on this? can a six rods windchime to be hanged outside the window of the north-west sector help? Missing corners in a home tend to be inauspicious. There is actually no real cure to correct this flaw as it is based on the external shape of the house. If it is a l…

Dear Master Lee, I have an entrance foyer in the NW sector of my new house, which occupies 50% of this sector. Since this foyer has only 2 walls, I would have to consider it as missing? How can I place cures here to minimise the effect of having this missing corner? I plan to place a bright light in the foyer and use a venetian blind on one side to represent a 'false' wall and to protect the shoe cabinet from the harsh sunlight. What else could I use or try? Thank you. Best Regardsaulina

Further to what I had mentioned, for the benefit of users, here who do not know what is 9 star ki; In general, 9 star ki was exported to Japan. And from there; it was re-exported especially to Europe and is popular with some UK practitioners. These are some of older links on the differences between 9 star ki and Ba zi & more:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=5276&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=22434&new= Although 9 Star Ki has it's origins from China; it is difficult to mix Traditional Feng Shui with 9 Star Ki. Furthermore, 9 Star Ki is more a mathematical close-to Flyin…

Dear Anon, 1. If your daughter has often has health problems, and staying all the time in your existing home, proper use of Feng Shui should be able to look at and diagnose the problem. 2. In my opinion, I also had a few cases, perhaps, one may call it a coincidence, but in these two homes, where there is a large missing corner at SE, and where, the couple had daugthers, -- perhaps, I have to say that it is a real coincidence... that it matched your situation. 3. In my opinion, the main concern is the missing corner. And it can be compounded by the wrong stars flying at the sector. Usually, the problem or issue here is the missing corner and it can be difficult to re-dre…

Dear Anon, It is always considered a `disadvantage' to have missing corners in a home. And there can be other significance not necessarily with regards to `recognition'. Yes, there are a few known cures and some of this include:- 1. Using a mirror to `extend' a missing corner. However, this option is best looked at in relation to Compass School Feng Shui. Here, a mirror is considered a double `edged sword': if the particular location in question is auspicious, then it can bounce back twice the good luck. But if it si an inauspicous sector, it can bounce back twice the bad luck. 2. For a landed property, there are more options. Here, the idea is to symbolically, add an out…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: 1. My house does not have a southwest corner. Anonymous wrote: How do i minimise the affliction? 1. For the exterior, you can create some landscaping ie stone borders to create an extension. So that when you view the house from the top it covers the missing corner. 2. If not, the alternative is to put a concave bagua that is usually used for sucking and trapping wealth for such missing corners. If possible, option 1 is better, if really no choice then the option 2 will be the only other solution to correct such a missing corners. On the interior, you can extend the missing corners by creating a mirror wall to falsely extend the missin…

Hi master, we are considering a home and have learnt about the importance of Southwest corner for female of the house. We recently visited a house and love everything about it, except that we noticed a missing corner at southwest of the home (near door entrance). Seeking your advice if we should be concerned about it or there are remedies we could take? Thank you

Dear Elizabeth, Usually, in most cases, the incidence of cancer may be associated with under water courses (hidden) below the ground. Check out this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/under.htm Usually hanging crystals may not be a good solution. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sharon, The thing here is that there is no home that is mobile in the past, as such there is no specific feng shui analysis that you can really use for this. In such a mobile home, probably the application of making it comfortable and practical to stay in would be more important. The only few areas you can apply any feng shui concept would then only be either:- 1.To face the entire home in a certain direction when you "park" ie facing north - Prosperity. 2. Or apply the Ba Zi element ie North - Water element, etc. 3. The rest should be more like colour scheme of the interior and exterior should be suitable to you. Otherwise, nothing much else you can do. Ho…

Appended by Cecil: A photo tells a thousand words. Text and more text... hmmm.. The opening (walking into the cube) is not in direct line of hallway/clear glass conference room. Is the opening we want to refer to in Feng Shui the one we step through into the space? The hall and the clear glass conference room hits the side of my face (partially blocked by cube wall/ computer monitor).

You definitely want to consult someone familiar with east asian medicine and qi flow in the body. A specialist can tell you whether or not it's something to worry about and based on the location, if there is a problem, tell you what's wrong. It's written that if it is a problematic black spot it means "stagnation of qi, degeneration of organ, or stagnancy due to an old injury."(Yang, 1998)
