Could you please settle a debate for me? Where is the proper placement for water features in periods 8 & 9, keeping in mind the Direct and Indirect spirits as well as the current Wang and Sheng Chi water stars? Thank you, Shaunna

Dear Stella, 1. If you are refering to The Eight House Theory or East/West Group of persons, then here are the steps to better understand the theory:- 1.1 What is the purpose of this theory? 1.2 What is the strength and weakness of this theory. In several of the recent forum messages, I have touched on Para 1.1 and 1.2 on this theory. 2. Overall, this theory simply implies that: For one to benefit from it: One has to spent more time at this location. Thus, it usually applies more (so) if we are looking or house hunting and finding out which house is more suitable for us and in particular what intangible influence it has at locations where we spent time at e.g. the bedroo…

Dear George, Please note that this general assessment is strictly based on Shapes and Forms with no reference to personal ba zi (date/time of birth). 1. One good thing about this layout is that the toilets are at `safe' positions (sharing an external wall) - therefore, they cannot be at the centrepoint. 2. The `major' dislike is the staircase at the centrepoint. But, this is not a major problem - more of an irritation. 3. I like the layout of this staircase:- http://www.newurbanist.com/ac2110.htm BUT not the layout of the toilet i.e. the bath-tub at ground floor is close to the centrepoint and the second storey (level) bath-tub is equally not well placed. 4. The stove fac…

Dear Mr. Lee, If for the male in a house the ideal property is for the door to face southwest and for the female of the house it would be for the door to face northeast then is a property that faces east a problem? If it is then what if the main door used to enter or exit was in fact facing north? Another question is what if anything is symbolized or caused by having a church across the street?

Dear Madi, In my opinion, this is a Shapes and Form weakness. Equally important, is that the property should not be `entrapped' i.e. surrounded by taller buildings on all sides and particularly where they are at higher ground. It is a site feature and very little one can do here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Good day Master Lee, I would appreciate greatly if you can advice if this property is inauspicious. My first impression of this property is that it is on a corner + at the entrance of the cul de sac, and the land has a trapezium shape, which maybe unfavorable in terms of fengshui. Thank you.

Edited by Robert: No promises that such questions will be replied as usually reviewing if a unit is good or not is beyond a free advise. It falls more under a House Hunting Can or Cannot Buy Review. Appreciate your help in analysing this high-floor unit at the Citylights. Is it a good buy? Thanks for your help in

Dear Max, Yes, with proper soil analysis and soil management especially drainage and structurally sound retaining walls, houses built as you had mentioned can be auspicious. Many a times, some of the various reasons below compounded by weather may cause landslides: 1. In many instances, too many houses were built on these hills providing downward pressure on the hill. This is less of an issue if there are no heavy downpours. But if there are heavy downpours, coupled by poor retaining walls or vegetation.. a landslide may be eminent. 2. Ideally, the best hills are those of limestones (hard rocks). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mark, Mark lyden wrote: I currently have a fish tank in my living room(living room in west of house.) I also have red sofas. How can I arrang the furniture to improve my proserity. I am currently loosing money. If you are facing issues, then you will need to troubleshoot your home before anyone can tell you what are the problems for your home. Only when you know what are the problems can you attempt to correct your situation. ie. Is your home unsuitable to you based on your eight house or ba zi? ie. Is the living room sector a bad position to put water feature under the flying star. ie. What is your best sitting position so that you can arrange your furniture to…

1. Many people are in your situation where they had purchased a home and started to "fiddle" with Feng Shui and Oops! this is bad or that is bad. 2. Most or many homes are fixed and based on the concepts that you had mentioned, they are meant more for those who have yet to build and trying to avoid such areas. Frankly there is no perfect home, and honestly there are relatively "no antidote" other than Para 2. (Which often is not practical which means moving out of a home....)Thus, you have look at other options of maximizing qi from other areas of the home:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Quote: Steve J. wrote: Hello... Hello, thank you so much for your attention! I am about to move into an apartment where, in the prosperity corner (as determined by the main door), a neighbor with a previous tenant's permission put in a hose to tap water from this apartment to his own shack outside for minor water use. I am wondering if this will symbolize my prosperity getting lost, along with the flow of water going out. In which case I will ask the user to kindly tap someone else's water. Or maybe I should just go along with it and do a good deed. The user is paying about five dollars a month for the service. Is there another solution to the problem? Thank You again! Avraham

Dear Anon, 1. It’s quite common, even here in Singapore, for some Feng Shui practitioners to talk about the idea of a “wealth corner.” 2. Honestly, this is something many consumers like to hear. And plenty of Feng Shui practitioners are happy to share the idea. If it brings comfort or joy to the consumer, these practitioners generally feel that there’s no harm in it. 3. In fact, during many of my local Feng Shui audits, about eight out of ten clients ask me after the session where their wealth corner is. 4. As mentioned, many Feng Shui practitioners here will, based on their own concepts or interpretations, try to convince homeowners that their wealth …

Dear Erin, Under the Eight House Theory, the important point is that if one does not spent time at a specific location, it has little impact on the person. Thus, even if the prosperity area/sector is at the toilet, if one does not spent time at that location, it has relatively little impact. It does not automatically mean that because the prosperity area is at the toilet, using the toilet ie. flushing it will mean flushing down one's wealth. This `prosperity area' is only but one of the many other sectors within a specific theory and accounts for a smaller percentage of luck. Warmest Regards, Cecilh

Dear Anon, A kitchen located in the prosperity sector is ok. One need to look out instead for the following:- 1. Avoid any parts of the stove being supressed by ceiling beam above it. 2. Water pipes should not criss-cross along the stove. (It should be hidden from view). 3. For the stove; the knobs should face upwards towards the ceiling (in a neutral position) especially if the stove face `outwards' of the main entrance of the house. 4. If the kitchen is at the North sector, it is best that the stove does not face a water position. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In such a situation, nothing much can be done . Normally, the advice here is to cover the toilet bowl with the toilet seat cover and close the door. You can certainly try putting riverstones if you want. Cecil There is no need to do anything as it is already a good sector for your husband.

Hi, tan jhj wrote: this ziwei master kept a copy of my ziwei analysis, saying it is for his database when i ask the ziwei chart from him. In general, this is entirely up to the consultant whether or not they do want to keep a copy or not. It really depends a lot on what kind of services they offer. For example, any face-to-face analysis, usually is done on the spot. So any information analysed should be given to the client. No real need to keep a copy. Even if they do keep a copy (usually to make it easy for their clients to ask further advise or request for it again if they lost it), they should remove/destroy the data should you do not want them to keep it. For exam…

As most of us are aware of the holy trinity of luck; I am sure as a loving parent you have taken as much effort in your son's human or man luck factors. As for his environment, I suppose, where he spents most of his time, this is his earth luck or Feng Shui. This is equally important as some sectors may have some Feng Shui issues; and often bazi or Heaven Luck is used to try to improve and harmonize with the earth luck. This is apparently unknown, here.
