1. One has to differentiate the type of "water position" in a home or bedroom. 2. If the water position is one of those fountains or even fish tank; then this is not advisable. 3. The most utopian water "position" is actually a water fall. Here, natural water frictions with the air to create negative ions. 4. Today, air-purifiers generally consists of TWO main categories; 4.1. Air-cleaners (air-purifiers). And often, the better brands are graded as "Hospital grade" and some of the well know brands are Honeywell and Sharp. Many of such air-purifiers use an external layer of charcoal sheet and an internal air-filter. That can almost filter out 99.999% germs. And even pollen…

From a Feng Shui perspective; there are quite alot of considerations. But, some means that you must have knowledge of things like: the breadwinner: East or West group? etc... Most of the time, in general; the first consideration is how one feels when first entering the home and/or if one really likes the home; try to bring along the whole family and see how they feel about the home. You wrote: Must the main door be facing North, entrance to the unit must be bright, the distance of opposite block cannot be too near, etc? As I mentioned, above, you may have to do some homework to find out whether you are an East group person : favourable North, South, East or SE. While a We…

Of course it is nice-to have everything done prior to the 7th month. But as you had mentioned; fortunately, only the odds and ends are left. Critically, the stove has to be in and often the bed should be ready. Other things you mentioned; ain't that serious at all- Good enough-

TThese are some considerations: 1. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck; there are three kinds of luck: 1.1. Heaven Luck or born with (Ba Zi)1.2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui of the home or office1.3. Human or Man Luck (also generally about feeling good or not that comfortable with the table/desk setting of your office). 2. While in this case, Para 1.1. may not apply directly; 2.1. We now look at either Earth Luck or Human/Man Luck. 2.2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui:- 2.2.1 It would be nice if your office location has good Feng Shui (from applying both Shapes and Forms and Flying Stars). Shapes and Forms is also about a location perhaps with some views or if a non-aircon office; perhaps …

These are some considerations:- 1. Flying Star Feng Shui: 1.1. Flying Star Feng Shui can be classified under "Horizontal" Flying Star Feng Shui and "Vertical" Flying Star Feng Shui. 1.2. Horizontal Flying Star Feng Shui is to find where is the frontage and plot the 9 grid or the pie chart and analyse a home or office or building or plot of land. 1.3. Vertical Flying star: assumes that each level or storey of a home has different qi influence. Thus that is why flats/apartments can use this Flying Star Feng Shui as in #01-32 is different from the qi of #12-32 etc... 2. If you are looking at landed properties and number; then this has more to do with the hundreds and or thou…

These are some considerations: 1. Most likely when you mention "fame and reputation"; most likely you are not living (or located) anywhere in Asia especially the Far East, Hong Kong and China. 2. Please refer to a recent posting on close to this same subject:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=33736&new= 3. Traditional Authentic Feng Shui does not use such "fixed template" stuffs. 4. If one is in one of the countries as mentioned under Para 1, above; and if a practitioner would bring up "fame and reputation", "courage" etc... That practitioner would close down in a few days - as he/she would be denounced as a "quack".... 4.1. But u…

This reminds me (remotely) of another "incident" of the time, I went to Mcdonald's HQ (previously) at their HQ @ 2nd level King Albert's... Search for "mcdonalds" in the forum search function at the top left corner of this forum frame or Reference: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=26725&new= Although the subject matter "Flyover" is the same; their was because of the flyover that was built and curved (sliced) towards their HQ.... Frankly, without any photos or visual images, very difficult to see how bad it is. As it is, it sound real bad. From a Feng Shui point of view; besides looking at the Flying Star numbers; the other key ar…

UPDATE: I recently placed a picture of some mountains and some water just outside my bedroom door and have felt much better. Coincidentally i later found out thatI have found that my room has "double facing" small tai ji in period 6 chart of house - the remedy for which (improves health) is to add a mountain (and water form) in the front of the house / room. Thanks in the mean time. :-)

These are some considerations: 1. Only under Period 5; #5 becomes an auspicious number. Else in other periods such as #7 etc... #5 is an inauspicious number. 2. Please note that what you generate is only about Vertical Flying stars. For example, the stack and which level is auspicious or inauspicious or even neutral. 3. Vertical Flying stars is mostly used especially for those who have a keen interest in a stack; such as in a ballot or a potential purchase. That's it. 4. All the talk about how to de-emphasize or cure or destroy or accentuate; you have to look at HORIZONTAL Flying Stars Feng Shui. You have to plot out the specific unit's Flying stars number from North to S…

These are some considerations: 1. Some "Feng Shui" related issues have more to do with common sense then Feng Shui itself. 2. For example, 2 years ago, I remembered meeting a client who just bought a re-sale HDB flat. 3. We climbed the stairs and he went towards his unit. Apparently, his unit's fully shiny chrome grille gate. 3.1 He had a fright as thought he saw a figure - (himself) and he got a "shock". 4. What you mentioned, is similar. Sometimes, we suddenly see an image "in the home" after opening the door. The image could actually be one's mirror image. 5. Thus, majority of the time; this is one of the main "concern". For some, it is not an issue.

Frankly, in my opinion, I widely consider what you mentioned under a broad term: "Occupational Hazard". For example, drawing a parallel to you. Even we geomancers also may fall into "Occupational Hazards" once in a while. Here, we would bring along our luopan. And once in a while; during our visits; meet a home that is "dirty" or "unclean" (belonging to those of the other kind). From the safety aspect; just take extra care to minimize personal exposures to risks. Otherwise: it is an occupational hazard".

These are some considerations: 1. Solar panels are a modern invention. 2. Thus, there are really no write-ups in the past as to whether it has positive or negative effects. 3. As many Feng Shui concepts can be looked at from a common sense approach; I tried very hard to imagine whether is there any negative effects (if any). So far there are in my opinon - none from this approach.

These are some considerations: 1. Under the Chinese system; some consider one's Gua/kua no. as the lucky no. Find out your Gua (Kua) Number? 2. And under ba zi; there is also one's favourable(plus wealth colours)and unfavourable colours.Find out you Personal Element? On the other hand; if one dwells into numerology; there are at least a few hundred formulas and methods as well as some astrologers use cards; some use birds or other animals to pick numbers for you. Thus, since there are so many numerology formulas and methods; the saying goes: "One man's meat is another man's poison". The outcome couldin a law of averages come up to 50-50 percent ...or none at all.

Thanks for the layout plans. These are some considerations: 1. Common sense : Ideally, the sewerage pipe(s) does not run directly above a stove. As there is a 1 in a million chance that the sewerage pipe may leak or burst sending "chocolate stuff" downwards. That's all. 2. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, best not to have the WC throne directly above the stove. If this is not the case, then phew! 3. For a bedroom above the kitchen; so long as the bed/bed-head is not directly above a stove; this is a plus point. Otherwise, what you have is acceptable. As frankly, there is often no such thing as a perfect home even if one builds it from scratch.
