Dear Carina, Please see below:- 1. Under Traditional Feng Shui, it is known as The Eight House Theory or the East Group or West Group persons. 2. Quite a lot of information is available at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm 3. If you check back quite recent messages, I have mentioned what: 3.1 What is the purpose of the Eight House Theory 3.2 What are the uses and limitations on this theory. Perhaps you may have to do `some' homework by doing a search for this. As the same question has been covered recently. This is such a `wide topic'. It may not necessary come under Feng Shui. I would consider it as a belief or disbelief. It is natural that dried flowers turn…

Hi Anon, Just as my reply to the other review query. At this point, not able to comment yet as we haven't yet have time to review it. Not going to be able to give you anytime frame as to whether it will be reviewed or not. But like I mentioned, if you do have units you like from that condo, then it is best you seek professional advise such as can or cannot buy service to review before buying it. Hope that helps. In my opinion, in addition GREY colour is suprising less striking as "jet black" colour and may be difficult to spot in twilight hours, also.

I've recently located to Sydney from Melbourne and am renting a 1BR apartment. It seems like I've been having a string of bad experiences happening. I just started looking at Feng Shui recently but it seems like everything about my place is bad for me. My kua number is 1 and my auspicious directions are SE, E, S and N. The floorplan of my apartment is kind of like a partitioned rectangle (I've attached a floor plan that I made). The toilet is in the SE (my Sheng Chi direction). I can't position my bed in any of my auspicious directions. I could put my bed in the SE, but i would be against the wall of the toilet and my bedroom's door would 'cut' into my bed.

Dear Colleen, If you have done a Flying Star Chart, most likely, the sickness or misfortune star is in your bedroom or living room. In such a case try to check out and cure it. At the same time check the Eight House intangible force in your bedroom or areas where you spent the most time. In addition you mentioned earlier that you are a weak metal. While your husband is a Strong Fire person. Here, his strong fire will further weaken your metal. Therefore, the binding element is "Earth". Which will help your metal grow. Warmest Regards, Cecil Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Nina, In my opinion, I would classify this type of question into two categories:- 1. Potential Sha Qi or poison arrow and/or 2. Commonsense approach. Under Para 1, above, a tree may become a poison arrow if it ends up with a thin tall tree trunk. And if one stands at the window (even) of a low rise house; should this thin trunk (or pole like) object slice thru the window, it then becomes a potential Sha Qi or poison arrows. Under Para 2, it shares a common situation e.g. like a bedroom above a kitchen. Where in some situations, fire is more likely to break out in a kitchen. Therefore, a common sense approach. Or it is not good to have a toilet or sewerage pipes abov…

Dear Wasis, 1. In my opinion, so far, there are no long term or even short term studies done on this area. 2. I personally feel that there is no harm in doing so; it is really up to homeowner. For example, talking clocks, cuckoo clocks and clocks that chime every hour have been around for quite sometime. 3. Therefore, if it makes one comfortable and secure, this has more to do with Ren cai (man luck) than Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In my opinion, if you are into DIY, these are some considerations: 1. You said "we have this wall facing my daughter's room." 1.1 I assume that you are referring to an extra block's wall. (As I always mention, often when some one writes texts, they assume that everyone else understands ?) 1.2 If assume it is Para1.1; then if there is a window of daughter's bedroom facing this wall; common sense says that her study table (if any) should not face this "wall" as often light can be reflectec into her room. 2. Your question about what cures etc.. This is very common: understand this term "TRIAGE" or search for this term.

Hello, I have my eye on a resin wall hung fountain, where water pours out of a Lions mouth. If I hang it on the right side of my front door (Looking at it from the street/outside) will this be a prosperous placement ? The compass position will be SW. My concern ,is I've read the water must run towards the house but if the water pours out the Lions mouth, its flow will go towards the street then flow through the drainage back into the pump back up to the Lions mouth. Is this a favourable position ? Thank you

Dear Carlos, In the future, it is best not to use all CAPs. Although you may not be aware, CAPs imply shouting. Please see below:- If the cabinet goes along the facade of the wall, there should no longer be any poison arrow to worry about. THE SECOND. HAVE I DONE Most probably, after next lunar year (after Year of the Horse) you do not need an extra six coins). For the mirrors, do check whetehr the sector is auspicious or inauspicious. If it is inauspicious, it is est not to place a mirror on either sides as it may bounce back twice the bad luck. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Shuzhen, If you keep the colours to your husband's colour, you can than use personal enhancements such as personal colours of red etc. Generally, the above should be ok, since the piano is placed against the wall. The only thing is if, it is based on Flying Star, the piano (since the exterior is usually made of wood), where best, it should not be at a sector with `bad wood' or an imbalance of the sector that has `bad wood'. Otherwise, things like white glass, lilac are decorative items and is considered insignificant. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some considerations: a. Frankly, from a micro-level one of the basis is to compare the designs to determine which element it belongs to. (http://talk.geomancy.net ) b. In general: 1 = metal element; 2 = earth element; 3 = wood; 4 = water (but due to jaggered edges should be avoided). c. Thus designs with stars or pointed diamond shapes - if doubt avoid such wall papers. d. Neutral wall papers are those in the examples: 5 and 6. Or those grainly rock-wall rough creased designs. e. In addition, the colour of the wall paper should also be considered in addition to the design. f. Furthermore, there is a purpose for this saying : there are just "too many indian chief…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What if the main door is not located either North or NorthEast, but exactly North by Northeast, right down the middle of the two directions? Frankly, such a house that falls in the exact degree between two directions are often not auspicious because, it is like neither here or neither there. One way that most masters will suggest is to embbed a metal ruler/frame around or at the bottom/top of the floor in such a way that when you use a read a compass standing at the door area, it will shift and point towards the more favourable direction. Hi lisa, In feng shui, there are a lot of thing that have to be put into consideration. As you and your husbands GUA is Chen(3), a House Sitting East Facing West should be Ok for both of you. Its only inauspicious when you are a east group person with a maindoor located in the west sector. As far as i know if your house is Sitting/Facing your inauspicious direction, there is nothin you can do about it. This is consider a Later Heaven problem. The above are my personal opinion. Steven

Dear JE, Under Period 8, in my opinion, especially for the central palace, one need not need to "lock" or neutralise the #5 at the central palace given that there is a Base #8, here. For the following general reasons: 1. It would look very odd to have a windchime at the centrepoint of the home. 2. Furthermore, in most homes, the windchime at the centrepoint is "stagnant" does not chime at all. 3. If it (windchime) does chime, it can make a pretty "disturbing" noise throughout the other rooms in the home. 4. Since #8 is an earth element and is the "wealth " element of period 8, a windchime may seem to kill #5 but it can also kill #8 totally -- the wealth # for Peri…

In my opinion: 1. There is no precedence on your current business model and Feng Shui. 2. For example, Feng Shui is about the earth luck. Thus for example, if you had asked about a business built on brick and mortar. Then Feng Shui may be consulted. 2.1.For example, please see the attached 4 photos. Here, a client mayseek advice on which premises is more favourable for his/her e.g. Internet caf?. 3. But things like Chinese 7th month and waning moon istotally not within the scope of Feng Shui. 4. Under the Chinese"Holy Trinity" of Luck system: 4.1. Earth Luck as mentioned is Feng Shui of the place one works at or one spends time e.g. a home. 4.2. Heaven Luck is cons…

Dear Linda, Generally, a rifle is a form of sha qi. So generally, it isn't advisable to hang a rifle. Even if you wish to display a rifle, it would be better that it is kept inside a glass display where the rifle barrel at least inside the glass display. It will definately make more sense to have a picture or a flower ornament rather than to hang a rifle. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
