Dear Anon, 1. This type of beam or supporting structure is very common. Look at it this way, this beam is very "shallow" and I believe, that if one notice carefully, when we place the bed-head, and when we place our bed-head pillow, we will never be under this beam. 2. To neutralise a beam, there are many ways to do so, in addition to what you had mentioned: 2.1 Some Feng Shui practitioners asked that a red line be drawn along the horizontal beam. This is symbolic of a line of fire to destroy or melt the beam. 2.2 quarter flower conice to hold up the beam. When you move the bed-head slightly away from the wall, this is pretty good. The above are the most common met…

Dear Anon, As your personal particulars quoted to him remains unchanged, then most likely he may have made a mistake in the calculation. As once the ba zi has been properly calculated, the readings will not change. Thus, in my opinion, he may most likely have a made a mistake somewhere. As it is certainly strange to see a reading change in two different sessions for the same person. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. For a landed property, the best location is the covered porch leading to the main door. 2. For apartments, if the corridor is a common corridor, then, you may consider hanging inside near the main door. Quote: Angelia T. wrote: About the 6 hollow metal rod chime; should I hang it at the frontage of the main door, facing the corridor or can I hang it inside the house near the main door?

From a Chinese Luck System: i.e. commonly known as the "Holy Trinity of Luck":- Heaven Luck (born with) Earth Luck (in your case your home) Human or Man Luck (your dad's affirmative action with support from family members). We have not fully looked at the Earth Luck of your home. But just a general understanding. Based on the Holy Trinity of Luck, see how you and your dad and family members can also try to focus on how best strategically you can try to "stop" more people coming to your home. The saying goes "blood is thicker" than water. And only immediate family members apply, here. Others e.g. cousins, relatives are not direct family members. So, it is good to discus…

1. The holistic method is to maximize the three main luck factors: 1.1. Heaven Luck - the question you asked lies within this area 1.2 Earth Luck - Feng Shui of your home and even office surroundings 1.3 Man or Human Luck 2. What you had mentioned earlier that your five element breakdown shows that you have zero water, zero wood etc... this is often "corrected" by some parents or grand parent going to a geomancy to try to get a CHINESE name balanced to or harmonised to the person. As you are aware some people change their name later part of their life perhaps as their parent did not have the luxury of checking out one for them earlier in life. 3.For a strong yin metal,…

1. As mentioned in an earlier reply, the Eight House is limited in scope as it merely helps one understand which sectors are good for an individual and what is there best facing direction for sleep, work/study. 2. Other than that it does not offer any cures whatsoever. Plain and simple: "Either you spent time, at that sector or cannot spent time at that sector" or "Either if you can sit facing a good sector, if not, TOO BAD!"

In a Feng Shui audit of say, a landed property, it is also good to take note that one of the water dragon concept is that: Yin water is actually drainage or even a river flow of water from right to left of a home's main enterance. While Yang water is water flowing past the main door from left to right. In modern times, it can also mean vehicles travelling on the road or highway in-front of our home.

1. Yes, what you said is absolutely, correct! 2. As once we purchased a home (especially a built up home), we cannot just change it's environment nor the site. 3. Thus do or die, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui has to be correct! 4.1 Yes, in addition to wrongly calculated ba zi; it is correct that we may even get the birthdates wrong. In Singapore, Malaysia, also, many do not report the birth of their children early - especially in the 1920's to 1940's. And some people only go to a police reporting station several weeks later and their birthdate is "stamped" that day! 4.2 This is why only the experts, are confident of using only the Ba Zi method, fully. But again, it make…

Quote: Cally C. wrote: Thank you for your prompt response... I understand your points... I felt like i am getting overly obsessed and fearful that I no longer look forward to renovating my new house... Just a question, do you do on-line house analysis with proposed remedies/cures? Am thinking of not doing full on-site audit lest the more i know, the more fearful i get... Thanks for your time! 1. Frankly, you are not the only one in the same situation. As for those applying the Eight House, statistically 50-50 are either East or West Group. Thus, it is very common occurence! So no-worries 2. Yes, on-line analysis is available: email: support@geomancy.net

Please go read this article written by Robert Lee:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= At Geomancy.net we cannot control how others interpret their ba zi, but we certainly are aware of many of the issues and concerns. And at the same time, we are very serious in the quality of our reports. Many, many years of research, development and fine tuning that went into it.

1. Frankly, the number of pillars and glass is more symbolic or based on cultural preferences like Cantonese dialect group seems not to like 4 etc... 2. Other considerations include having an auspicious width of the partition. Most of the time, for government Housing Board flats, if the main door is immediately next to a side of a wall, then often, an optimium width of the partition is between 106 to 109 cm and if more exact, it could be 107 cm. Some partitions can be longer approximately 127 cm thereabouts.

I believe this is the first time that you have heard how the painting or embroidery of the 100 birds came about:- 1. One day a Ching Emperor just got married. He was impressed with the Dragon and Phoenix wedding card that an artist had produced for him. 2. He summoned the artist to the court. And this Ching Emperor decreed that the artist must for him a "trophy-painting" of him (the Emperor) with all his concubines in the painting. 3. The Emperor commanded that none of his concubines must be left out else the artist would pay a penalty for each concubine missing in the painting. 4. With the help o…

Please read my original reply. Since you are so concern about the glass piece; and as I had mentioned earlier, it just takes one or two friends or relatives to "spoill" the *YOUR* mood. In Feng Shui, it is still acceptable, since when you close the toilet door, it will still be air-tight. Please re-read my past message. Human beings are always like this: if someone gives you an inauspicious comment, followed by some other people, would you feel uncomfortable! Thus has more to do with human factors - feel good or feel bad...

I believe I've learned the modern method rather than the traditional method. I'll use the the Flying Star Chart pie chart to get it properly aligned. I believe it's a very large protrusion, almost making an L-shape. Thanks!

The main idea is to have good ventilation. So long as the plant does not inadvertently block the qi, this is fine or Ok. I would prefer say a fan vs this plant thing. mmm... iv>not sure if you've misunderstood my concern. while you're right that the harmonising of the person is best done via the name at birth, those are in the past and cannot be readily changed. but, that in itself was not my concern.mine was more to do with the use of elemental therapies/cures; esp. for ppl like me with inbalance bazi. iv>my understanding is that my strong fire will likely result in me being more susceptable to illness in organs related to fire, like the heart etc.thus, it seems logical to think that any "cure" would include elements that either boost water or reduce fire effects. therefore, for therapies that uses infrared, which is a form of …

1. You see, I spoke too soon! 1.1 I just used the Google search; typed in: stove and sink... and this thread was googled 6 hours ago... 1.2 You don't even need to be a member or login to this forum. It is universally readable especially from big search engines. Yahoo would also be doing the same soon or by now already... 2. Others.... Not all messages are approved... For those who have the wrong ideas; this is a moderated forum. All postings need approval. In fact, it is not possible to reply to all messages. And unfortunately for every forum message approved; 3 others are not.

1. Frankly, I had illustrated the significance of first placing on the outside of the door and why it was taken in, later and "put" right (right side up). 2. Anything else, is entire up to you. If you still feed good about what you are doing and have or can justify what you thing is good, then go ahead with it. 3. As such things - or for such things: there is no right or wrong answers. Yin Long L. wrote: Thanks Master Cecil. My follow up question is, is leaving them upside down from inside the home (inside the main door)causes a leak in fortune? I have the idea that the Chinese word for 'arrive' and 'upside down' is "Dao," so it is kind of clever pun, the idea of"L…
