Hi, This is not a real issue because under the Eight House Theory, one aspect is that it is advantages or good to have the `kitchen' location where the spouse or " woman " of the house have the good intangible force in that sector despite whether there is a oven or a microwave in the location. Dear Viviana, Hope you can elaborate what you mean by "carrier zone." Are you refering to " Career ". Presently, there is no known effective cures for a staircase at the centre of the house. You may consider:- 1. One or two potted plants at the ground level. 2. This is optional and you may need to monitor but one can place a mirror a the staircase landing. (This is a traditional `cure'). Hi, It is ok to have marble on the floor. Murals for decoration are fine. Provided it is not a water scenery covering the entire mural or of `hungry', prowling animals. It is quite uncommon in most regions to have murals on the ceiling. Frankly it is also new to me so at this point unable to comment further. Warmest Regards, CEcil

Dear Toni, Why don't you do a full consultation for your boss office. That way you can activate the mountain star and find a more auspicious sector for him to sit. Since he has given you the permission to change the door direction. Because if you change the door direction the flying star will change too. So I think you should focus on the whole picture instead of focusing on the stopping the Qi from rushing down. May be after doing flying star report you might not need to change the door location. So my suggestion will be to do a flying star report before spending money on changing the door direction.

Overall, this is not directly related to Feng Shui. Frankly, I am not familiar with this area i.e. Aromatherapy. Perhaps, you can find out more from Global Shops like the " Body Shop " etc... In Feng Shui, smells can be classified as under one of the Five Elements. For example, peppery smell goes towards the Fire element etc... I have not done any research into this area so unable to comment further. Dear Erika, In my opinion, I consider this more an `environmental issue'. Perhaps, you may have to " discuss " with your neighour whether it is possible to `redirect' this air e.g. using a funnel away from your home. If not, maybe your local authories can help. Overall, this is `new' to Feng Shui i.e. the modern invention of an exhaust fan, but it is generally inauspicious (bad Qi) and you should try to resolve it. Dear Ber, As Joe correctly pointed out where best, try to avoid mirrors especially large ones in the house. 1. Mirrors are of the YIN element. 2. Mirrors located at a " wrong " location can bounce back twice the bad luck. 3. It is common for the Cantonese (A dialect group of the Chinese) to install a large mirror in the dinning room in the hope that it will bring them auspiciousness. But as I mentioned above, becareful where you install it. 4. Dear Ber, In general, it is OK to plant a few pot of plants. For plants that flower, after you place the plant do " monitor " the plant to see if it flowers. If it does, generally, this is auspicious. Potted plants are quite safe:- 1. If you do not have many but a few e.g. two or three is acceptable. 2. In a pot, they cannot grow `wildy' or grow too large. This is good. 3. Bamboo plants are acceptable also. Hi, Here, you must note that there is a `Ranking' or `Priority' i.e. it is more important to be at a good sector of influence rather than face a good direction. For example, if you are constantly sleeping at one of your auspicious/good sectors, this is considered good. It would be better if you can sleep in a auspicious/good sector and also face a good direction. Contrast this to sleeping in an inauspicious sector but facing your good direction. Hi, Feng Shui is a wide topic, with many different western translators providing many different terms for a same topic. I believe if you are referring to balance, it should be more towards the Five Elements or at least Yin or Yang.
