Hi Master Cecil, Happy New Year! Can you advise the approach one should take when the life kua favorable directions conflicts with the house kua? For example, bedroom in the east for a person with West Group Life Kua is unfavorable according to 8 mansions but because the house is facing N2, the house kua shows that east is suitable for bedroom (sheng qi). But the flying stars for Period 8 in a N2 facing house has 5 & 2 in the east, which are bad numbers for health. Also does it make a difference on the orientation of the headboard of the bed? The head is facing east and feet are facing west, or vice versa? Thank you for your advice!

Hello and thank you for your wonderful website full of very helpful info for learning more about Feng Shui. I have been learning about Feng Shui by reading much on the internet and would like to consider how I can improve the Feng Shui for my current house. I am interested to have an expert professional like yourself help me. First I’m hoping to get a sense of whether the house has potential for improving or is it best just to move in our case. I am open to all options right now. I have read that a house can have its period changed by doing a substantial enough renovation, which must include opening up the roof and ceiling at least 25% of the house foo…

I was told that cures sold by grand master l****** T** are authentic and embedded with mantras and that all other Feng Shui cures at cheaper prices are not authentic and will not work. Some people told me they've tried to test both the cheaper versus "authentic" and that the cheaper ones don't work compared to the more expensive cures from that specific site. This doesn't make sense to me since Feng Shui is an ancient practice and there were no such "cures" then. I would like to have a discussion about this and required support. Thanks

Dear Mirena Nikolova, > I think I will go with traditional feng shui from China.i will try to apply Bagua map,4 Pillar etc.....Could you please guide me how to do that correctly?Since there are a lot of information on the Internet from different sites, sometimes I get confused. ActuallyI had a consultant here in Denmark which uses Nine star ki and Bagua map on our house, but in a bit different way than I have seen before and in one of the kids rooms the most available space for furnitures in this room are the negative directions for my girl according to nine star ki. using Kua number for this room the directions are positive .Feel free to use Geomancy.net's full range …

Hi Master Lee, I found a house that my hubby likes alot. We hope to engage you for a site visit. But before I Whatsapp you for further discussion, I came across your article on the 'receiving wealth case study. I was quite reluctant on this house for 3 reasons. 1) the house number is 24 (easy die lol) But I read other that says this number is good for people with wood. 2) my neighbour on the right is higher than my house because it is sitting on up slope land 3) last and most importantly, I asked a few friends. I was told this is a pointing knife which is pointing at the master bedroom thus I would like to seek your advice. If it's a big no no t…

Hi all~ Has been told by a fengshui master that based on my chinese name & bazi, east & north area is good for me to stay, west is a nono. So recently I have been looking for resale flat, does that mean I cannot search for houses in central area or in the west area as it will not do any good to me based on my chinese name & bazi? What if I really like a house in the west area, which means I cannot proceed to buy it? Or is there other explanation to this? Any advice?

Hi Master Cecil, my partner and I are actively looking for resale flats in Sengkang. We have been looking around and realized that most of the units near the MRT station have odd shape rooms. One example that I am looking at is this unit. The corner of the common bedrooms are pointed, the main door is facing the northwest direction. Is this bad in terms of fengshui? Should I still be looking at houses shaped like this? Looking forward to your advice, thank you very much!

Hi Mr Lee. I would like to know how to pick a auspicious day if I require to do important things on that week. Eg Car purchase or key collection. Do we pick an average day without clashes or one with mix blessings. I need to pick a day today 01/09 or sat 03/09.

Dear Veronica, 1. Regardless of the situation, it is essential for an air conditioner to have the most direct path to two key areas: 1.1. the outdoor compressor unit or the balcony where the compressor is located 1.2. a route to channel condensed water to the nearest bathroom for drainage 2. Choosing the shortest route is advisable because, over time (typically 2 years or more, depending on usage and environment), the air conditioner’s drainage pipes can become blocked by dust, similar to how arteries can become clogged. 3. A shorter route also means less piping is needed for both the refrigerant gas and the drainage. 4. From a Feng Shui pers…

Anonymous wrote: Hope you're doing well. I would like to ask for your advice regarding the placement of my bed on the master's bedroom in the apartment I'm moving into. I read that the bed should not share the same wall as the toilet, nor should it be placed facing the bedroom door nor the bathroom door, which leaves me with a conundrum on where to place my bed. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated! 1. Kindly be advised that the guideline stating that "bed should not share the same wall as the toilet" is not a universal rule. It is only applicable in specific situations as illustrated in the attachment. 2. Your statement regarding the positioning of the b…

I do not have a Feng Shui ruler so I used theFeng ShuiRulerProgram By Wasis Sugionoand the dimensions looks fine. >7. The altar table is for late mom. Since Loupan does not apply in this case. Is there anything else that is suitable for my case?

Dear Anon, There are two `issues' brought up considering this. Most of the time, one should not be too unduly worried about it. The two `issues' are: 1. Some FS practitioners consider it `inauspicious' because, in the event, that a car catches fire, the bedroom is directly above it. But based on reasoning, this `risk' is neglible for most of us as a car catching fire, is rare unless it is thru mischief or other causes. 2. Some FS practitioners believe that a car, is = metal, and thus, there may be too much metal at that sector especially if there is an imbalance at that sector where either metal aids the bad #star or enhances it. A Flying Star analysis would be able to c…

Hi master, basically the place i'm at is costa rhu, my unit is at the bottom left of the development in the map here. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_1971/travel_site_65402/ so as it is left hand drive, the flow of cars nearest to my unit is from right to left, similar, as the kallang basin drains from the rivers to the sea, the flow of water should be from right to left. but then again, property is location location location as you said. so i have to weight both! thank you kindly!

Previously I took some time to compile a list of calendar events of Chinese festivals: http://www.geomancy.net/calendar/ And list of Major and Minor Chinese Festivals. Some of us, use this information to choose `auspicious' dates. For example, on 16 October 2000, it is the Celebration of " Chinese Goddess of Mercy becoming a Bodhisttva ". This is another method of finding a good date. In addition, I made the effort to compile the extensive list of calendar of events is to share with fellow overseas Chinese, the significance of certain dates and providing a brief description of the event. This is a way of looking at our `roots'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Chinese New Year starts early this year; 2. This year's Chinese New Year starts on Monday 23 January 2012. 3. As mentioned in the earlier posting of 1/15/2011, below; it is a tradition especially by the majority of Singapore Chinese who are Hokkiens to start operations on an auspicious day on Chinese New Year itself. 4. I have mentioned that for the opposite: for the dead, burial is always done on ODD days e.g. 1st day, 3rd day, 5th day, 7th day etc... immediately after death. 5. However, for business opening; it is always considered auspicious to start operations on EVEN number of days. 5.1. Thus for 2012, the first day of Chinese New Year is Monday 23 January 2012; …

Hi Master Lee, When drawing the lines to find the centre of the house, should the balcony be included? If the balcony is not included, the house looks almost like a rectangle with no missing corners. But once the balcony is included, it looks like there is a missing corner. Thank you for your advice.
