Thanks for sending over your photos. This part of Feng Shui is actually more related to common sense and privacy than to traditional Feng Shui itself. A one-way mirror can be very reflective, and there are several things to consider: 1. It is generally acceptable to place such a mirror for privacy purposes. 2. However, if the mirror is highly reflective, especially on the outside, and if your home faces Southwest (SW), there will likely be some afternoon sun. In that case, do think about how the afternoon sunlight and the reflective nature of the glass might affect your home. 2.1. From a practical point of view, your Managing Agent may not approve this…

Hi master, My family is looking at a resale at waterwoods ec. I have drawn the unit on the map and it should be facing the t junction. And also uploaded the floor plan and the unit I am looking at is level [xx for privacy have hidden it for you - Cecil Lee] Two concerns: 1. The master bed room, 2 room and balcony appears to be facing the junction. 2. Once the main door is opened, it is directly pointing to the kitchen. Should be no way to build a wall to obstruct the direct to kitchen from main door. Please share with me some of your advice. Cheers

1. Please see this illustration. 2. This partition is long and covers the entire main entrance door. 3. In addition, it is full height up to the entire ceiling of the house. 3.1. As mentioned in some of the earlier threads; full height and especially now that it is "air-tight" means that light from the living room cannot filter to the main door. Thus generally, making the foyer area dim. 3.2. Another thing I would like to highlight with this "air-tight" partition is that often for safety reasons; those sitting at the sofa area will not see who is coming in or if a family member is at the main door talking to a person or stranger. 3.3. Personally, I would still prefe…

1. Further to what I had mentioned; this is the template for what I had mentioned, previously in an earlier e-mail. 2. Comparing the sectors:- 2.1. For example from now to 2023 (Period 8); if the frontage is at North and a bedroom is located at e.g. East; 2.2. While from 2024 onwards to 2043b(Period 9); we find that the wealth stars had gone to South = toilet and there is a missing corner at SE; then when comparing the periods; From now to 2023, seems more auspicious then Period 9. 3. Thus logic says that one needs to compare the stars with sectors for either period to see which is considered better or worse-off or even no-change?

Dear Anon, 1. To be completely candid, such items do not possess any "magical" attributes. 2. In recent years, a significant number of these products have become purely commercial ventures... Somehow, many individuals appear to be swayed by marketing tactics into purchasing these items. 3. To be truthful, these commercial goods are prevalent because they can be produced inexpensively and sold at a high price. Furthermore, many of these items do not guarantee wealth for their owners! Once sold, caveat emptor! "Let the buyer beware!" 4. Consider it this way: during the era of my parents, grandparents, or even great-grandparents, many of these products we…

I have searched everywhere online and can not find a good blog post about grand pianos and Feng Shui. Which Feng Shui element(s) do grand pianos represent? Is it water because it’s black/plays music or is it wood Because that’s what it is made of or something else? Any best places and worst places to have a piano? thanks!

In this case, the loft bed is placed closer to the window. Airflow toward the head of the bed depends on how the windows open. Many modern apartments have windows that only open from the side. If the window is beside the head of the bed, some Asian children may feel uncomfortable because strong winds can blow directly onto their bed. Therefore, it is important to consider the placement of windows, the presence of full or partial walls, and the location of bedroom doors.

Thank you for your response. Let me rephrase my question, 1. Would appreciate if you could analyze Bellewaters feng shui in general 2. Also, bellewaters is near to the upcoming Sengkang hospital. For fengshui, will it get affected by it? 3. How do we judge the facing of each blk/stack? Do we judge by the individual entrace of our main door or north south east west is determine by where the stack or blk faces? 4. Lets say if my stack faces true south or true north, but my main door faces west, so am i facing the south/north or west? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You once again

Hi Master Cecil, First of all, thank you for your insight on feng shui. My question is on the latest cool roof design. Recently I booked a double storey link semi-d cluster home in Malaysia. The roof design is as in the diagram attached. It's a flat metal roof with low angle for rain water and good drainage but surrounded by bricks on all sides. Besides weird, the colour will also be unauspiciously white or light-bluish. It's a metal roof with 3 layer insulation that supposedly reduces heat retention and noises from rain and reflecting the heat back up. The main point of this roofing is energy efficiency and easy construction. Furthermore the area is breezy and …

About Le Cresendo Condominum I recently visited Le Cresendo and took some photos of the church. From what I saw, most of the views from the bedrooms or kitchens don’t really feel intimidating at all. Of course, that’s just how I personally see it. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you ever want to sell the apartment, future buyers might share the same concerns you had at the start. 1. Here are some points you may want to think about: 1.1. If someone feels uneasy about living near a temple, church, or similar place, it’s likely that other people might feel the same way too. 1.2. With property prices going up and new projects being built closer to MRT …

Hi Master, with reference to my previous post with subject title Main Door Facing to the Telecom/gas room, is this taken as sharp arrow?"" , I would like to seek your advice on below: If the previous favorite unit has strong corridor Sha Qi, we now may consider its neighbor unit next to our previous favorite unit. When we try to stand in front of this neighbor unit's main door, we notice that there are two arrows (by pillar) pointing to the main door. See below picture underlined in RED. May we know are they really taken as arrows Sha Qi? Apart from this, there is a rubbish chute in front of the main door, with few distance away. Does this rubbish ch…

When viewed from above, it appears as a triangle from the air. In this configuration, the triangle points outward from the house. Certainly, it is possible to accomplish this task. However, it is advisable to steer clear of tall, slender trees that may pose a threat. Whenever feasible, opt for tre…

Hi Master, Many a time, master bedrooms contain toilets. However, such toilets do produce Sha qi and when directed at your bed, can create health problems. As such, many people try to position their beds to avoid such Sha qi. I wanted to ask what is the ideal position to put my bed. I have 2 options: - Option 1: bed in command position, supported by a wall, feet away from the bedroom door but toilet door faces the body when sleeping - Option 2: bed not in command position, no support as behind the bed is a window, feet faces a wall, bed not facing the toilet door and bedroom door at all so no sha qi Which is the better position?

Dear Sophia, 1. Honestly, this really depends on how you define Qi flow and the context you are using it in. 2. For houses, we usually talk about Qi flowing into the home. For example, if your living room frontage faces East. 3. Will Qi, or air, flow in from the West towards the East? So wouldn’t you prefer good Qi from the East to flow into your home, instead of bad Qi coming in from the West? 4. That’s why, on our website, when we define the facing direction, we focus on where good Qi can flow into the house, rather than allowing bad Qi to enter. 5. The other concept is more commonly used in Yin Feng Shui, where you want a strong amount of good …

Hi Master, I have a front door with a direct facing room window. Can i block the window with the use of a sliding door with frosted glass? Blue arrow denotes a sliding door with frosted glass. Red arrow is the energy from main door to direct facing window. The wall in the middle has been hacked away by previous owner. Thank you for your advice.

Further to what I had mentioned, below, please click on the attachment to thismessage (only available via website login to the forum account). Example 1 (file name: water-entry-exitpoint-A.gif) This file illustraion will show:- 1. House is facing SOUTH 2. Water enters this SOUTH facing housedirectly from SOUTH. 3. Water must not exit out of this house from NW (The idea here is tomake sure that under the First Heaven Sequence Trigram, the waterentering a specific trigram must be noted. For example the trigram stands for "HEAVEN". Under the 2nd Heaven Sequenc Trigram, check where the "HEAVEN" trigram lands. It lands on NW. Thus water should notEXIT NW) Example 2:…

That is surely cute way to do this...... wonder what will they think of next *) Flush away bad karma at temple in Japan OTA CITY (JAPAN): Tired of an unsatisfying relationship, the sluggish economy or just your own bad habits? Now you really can flush it all down the toilet. The Mantokuji temple in Japan's central Gumma prefecture was once an asylum for women who wanted to cut ties with their husbands, a funtion now made obsolete by modern divorce laws and family courts. Not the temple is a museum chronciling the history of divorce as well as a place to help people get rid of any bad karma, via a piece of paper they drop into laterines. Vis…
