Some homes are like an unpolished gem. Some enhancement can do wonders to this home. But for some homes, the odds may be stacked against it. As no amount of enhancements can work. Such home often have more problem areas and instead of enhancements, one may have to use more Elastoplast (plaster) to fix up!

Dear Anon, It is good that the house is rectangular in shape. Please see below:- In addition, this home suits more of a West group person. However, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view, it is acceptable as most of the side of the home will not be afftected by any afternoon sun.

Dear Ben, Further to my earlier comments:- On a professional level using Compass School Feng Shui:- There may be a possibility of an inauspicious if the particular sector happens to fall under the " Legal entanglement " sector of the Flying Star Theory. Worse of all, if there is a combination of two bad stars e.g. #2 and #3. Here, it is best to keep that particular sector QUIET. Therefore, if this sector happens to require `quiet'; a vehicle moving in and out of this sector may lead to legal implications. Thus, there are many considerations to take note of. Thanks for your summary of the key-points I had mentioned earlier on `holistic' Feng Shui. This is a good or sterlin…

Dear Josephine, Firstly, N2 is a short form for North Sector 2. You see each direction ie North has a 45 degree angle. In flying star, each direction is divided into 15 degree sector, thus, you get N1/N2/N3. N2 simply represents 0/360 direction or true north direction. Based on what you mentioned, your home is a landed property. Why are using the backdoor as the direction? You should either use the main door or the frontage. For landed property we recommend that you use the frontage of the house. Furthermore, since the alternative backdoor is North is death for your husband, it means that will not be a good door for your husband to use. You mentioned, that your main do…

Dear Rochiel, The idea of utilizing beneificial Qi is to ensure that it comes into the house and meanders (slowly) before exiting out of the house. Here, the chief concern is to prevent Qi from coming into the door and exit directly out of any area (window/door). I believe, you case is common. This is where, you can close the side of the sliding door that is in direct view of your entrance door. And open the other side of the sliding door. This (I believe) would help solve your problem. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Marie, If you have Chinese guests, it would be a nice gesture if the host can wear Red. As this is considered a very auspicious colour for this occassion. If you country allows the use of fire crackers, this is a tradition, we Chinese use to ward off evil and usher in the new year. Furthermore, the pathway will be pathed with the remains of red paper (belonging to the fire crackers). If u are not allowed to do so, please don't do so. If you have give exchange, never, never, give a wall clock as a gift. This is very bad luck! If you have Chinese guests, try to find some lovely Chinese music. Otherwise, some soothing music would create a warmth atmosphere. …

Further to what I had mentioned; this is another link to another "type" of ba gua mirror. URL: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=25888&new= Apparently, this version is the latest version that has both the conVEX mirror and the ba gua trigram together. As mentioned, your purpose is to "deflect" or neutralise the sha qi from the street lamp. And it is not compulsory to add the ba gua trigram. As the main purpose of the ba gua trigram is to or suppose to "scare away evil spirits". That's all.

Dear Master Lee, Many thanks for your fast and most helpful response. Regards, Soh Peter Yes, the centrepoint shown is correct. 2) I have a fish tank with 8 gold and 1 black fish. Is the fish tank shown at the right location? If not, where is the best location? Locally, some Feng Shui practitioners often recommend that if there is a fish tank, it is often placed; close to the main entrance door. As shown under the attachment Marking A under the file: fishtank.jpg (This is strictly looked at only from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Sometimes, the practitioner may recommend placing it at Marking B (in the living room or around this area). Please note that often, the abov…

Further to what I had mentioned earlier:- 1. In this real world of today; to make sense; it is best for an individual to focus on the micro-level. 2. There are two levels: macro and micro. 2.1. Macro refers to the industry one is in. 2.2. Micro is about analysing what is one's MAIN or CORE job function one is hired to do. Thus, for a sales executive; the primary job is to close deals or sales = fire element. 3. Otherwise, some wise guy can argue about your job all day, all year long and still cannot come to the conclusion : what element your job is. 4. Anyway, as mentioned in the last message; many perform multi-skilling. And in today's real world, one's element can be mo…

Dear Jeffrey, If I am not wrong all the variations you may have heard should be correct. This is because in the Chinese Culture, we have different types of dialects, (eg. hokkien, cantonese, teo chew, har kar etc), These dialects pronounce the words slightly differently creating the variations. For example, lets take a surname Chen in Chinese. In Hokkien it is refered to as Tan. Etc. Both are correct, just that they are pronounced differently. If you want to be sure you can use the simplified Chinese pronouncation used in han yu ping yin, eg Feng1 Shui3 (not any dialect form of it.). Warmest Regards Robert Lee -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients o…

Dear Cecil, Thank you for your reply.Yes it was helpful! Mybedroomhave7 5 2 stars in it. All 3 are not great numbers. So I understood that I am to use metal and water elementsfor that room. Last year the annual star #2 fly inmy current bedroom which made it 7 5 2 2. Whatis the best treatment for that room... more metal items? wood? This year it is 75 2 1, On the report I ordered from you..I got puzzled.. 20 year chart says for 7 2 make use of water to exhaust and weaken Metal Annual 5 1 make use of Metal to exhaust and weaken earth. If you weaken the metal then the metal can't weaken the earth. If I put more water like strong blue paint in my bedroom, it will mak…

Dear Anon, 1. One method to address this situation is to position the ancestor tablet to the left of the table when facing the altar, ensuring that the table is slightly lower than the deity located on the right. 2. Historically, some individuals have constructed a niche directly above the refrigerator to accommodate their ancestor tablet. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Link to Map Dear Master, My family is considering this home in the United States (left hand driving) and we are wanting to hear your opinion on this home in cul de sac. It seems like it is parallel to road so it should be better? The blue arrow points to the front door. This is an area with many Asians, so it is possible that the design is influenced by feng shui. The road is very quiet. Thank you master!

Hi, if we do the move in ritual before the 7th month and on an auspicious date. Then later if my renov fully complete in August, does it still matter which date we move in after that? There doesn’t seem to be any auspicious date for me in early August.

Hi Mr Lee, would like to seek your advice regarding my apartment floor plan as shown in the image. As you can see, bedroom 2 and master bedroom are odd shaped and their room doors open into where the beds are going to be positioned (i.e., when you walk in at a straight line from the door, will walk into the bed). My understanding is that the worse placement is where the beds are in line with the room door such that when you lie in bed, your feet is facing straight line to the door. How about situations where the room door is facing the sides of the bed? Is this seriously not good? Any simple fixes that are not too intrusive? Do you think it is ok to live with this w…
